The danger, drama and suspense all intensify in book two of this series. This book picks the story that was left on a cliffhanger at the end of book one. Also be prepared because book two also ends on a doozy of a cliffhanger. This is an exciting and entertaining series and I’m looking forward to book 3.
Damn cliffhanger!
Part two focus on Trinity’s side of the story. You need to read part one first or you won’t understand! Once more it’s well written and has some really sexy parts. If you’ve followed the interstellar brides series I’m sure you will be happy to see some characters from previous books appear in this one. (but don’t worries if you didn’t, you will still understand)
Be aware the book end on a cliffhanger and a good one!
I’m not a big fan of cliffhanger. Part of me wish I had been more patient and had waited for the third part to come out before starting reading this series. But it’s a really good book and I will be waiting impatiently for the next part!

Leo and Trinity’s story continues where book one left off in The Ascension Saga. I like that the author has incorporated new to me characters that bring the world to life. Trinity and her sisters search for their mother the Queen while trying to save their planet. This book has a cliffhanger ending but it just makes me that more excited to read book three.
Book two in the Interstellar Brides Ascension Saga series and it ends in a cliff-hanger I want the next book. This is just getting more intense with each book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
So this is the second book of the three for Trinity. She is a very strong character and deserves her props for being in the middle of a whole new world for herself. She has grown up with her mother telling her what to do if anything like this should ever happen, but to be in the middle of it is totally different.
Leo is a strong male counterpart. But he thinks himself not worthy of her, with his past and the things he has done he thinks Trinity is too pure for his love. Will she be strong enough to fight her enemies and to show Leo that he is exactly what she wants.
Great second book.
This is the second part of the Ascension Saga. It is another great read but, it also ends in a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Ascension Saga II will pick up right where Ms. Grace leaves us, so be ready. We actually start and hear from Queen Celene again. If you were smart, and I know you were, you were able to pick up the Prequel and met the Queen and Princess Trinity too. Well sort of. Celene has been kidnapped after living on Earth for the past 27 years, along with her daughter Trinty and her 2 half-sisters. To meet them, you’ll need to get your hands on the Saga, sorry no spoilers here. haha – We also get to hear from Leo again too. He’s actually still scratchin Trinity’s itch. Must be nice girlfriend. We also find out WHAT Leo has done in the past and get to meet up with some old friends from previous reads. A real fun time. Please whatever you do, begin by reading the prequel to the Saga. You won’t regret a minute of it. Promise …
Ascension: 2 starts up exactly where we left things with its predecessor.
And from the get-go here things were ramped up escalating in such dramatic style.
This is again of novella length but what we lack here in pages we more than make up for in content.
In this instalment, we are focused entirely on Trinity and Leo and while I am not going to go into great detail here what I will say is this was off the hook in terms of heat and emotion.
One slight criticism I had though is the way Trinity thinks she has to put her people ahead of Leo: it really shouldn’t be a choice of either or so that did cheese me off ever so slightly.
Again I really enjoyed myself here and I can’t wait for the next piece of this addictive new novella series.
On a side-note this did end on a slight cliffhanger: so I do hope the next piece of the puzzle comes sooner rather than later.

Well the plot just thickens… Now I am left with more questions and frustrated cause the ending leaves us in a WTF?? Please Ms. Goodwin hurry up and give me the rest..

The Ascension Saga Book 2 is the sequel to Ascension Saga Book I in this new series of the Interstellar Brides series. If, you have read this series, you will be happy to know that we get to meet some of our wonderful characters from the previous books! If, you aren’t familiar with this series, it’s OK, it doesn’t hamper your understanding of this series. The Ascension Saga is not a stand alone series. I recommend that you read the prequel and book 1 since the story is told in multiple parts.
I am very happy Book 2, picks up where the first book ended. Leo has proved his loyalty to both his mate and as a warrior for his planet. He and Trinity are still hot and heavy for each other and learning about each other. The three sisters are continuing to search for their mother and the traitors on the planet. The book ends with a cliffhanger but it is well written, has sexy scenes, fast paced, erotic romance and lots of adventure. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!!
Grace Goodwin’s Ascension Saga is a serialized story in the Interstellar Brides’ Program and I’m having a great time with the stories. Story 1 drops right into the action as we meet Trinity, Faith and Destiny. Earth-raised girls using the IBP to get to Alera to save their mother, the queen. Story 2 picks up fairly close to where story 1 ends and things are progressing quickly. The sisters have a plan in place and Faith and Destiny are actively searching for information on their mother while Trinity steps into her new role.
Likes: I’m a huge fun of sci fi romances and Ms. Goodwin did a great job building the sisters’ universe. We have fated-mates, which is typical for this genre, and I really enjoyed the differentiations between the species and each with their own feisty human mate (yes, earth girls are bad a$$es). One word: the Ardor. There’s a suspense element (Who is after them and why) that is an undercurrent in both stories 1 & 2 (and beyond) that ties the stories together as the sisters must figure out what’s going on to save the planet and prevent further war. And I’m going to point out there, Leo is amazing and may well become your new book boyfriend. If you are a regular reader of the Interstellar Brides’ Program, then you’ll be acquainted with Jessica and her mates (book 4), and I loved seeing them in this story. Dislikes: I will readily admit that the story lines need to be engaging for me to accept cliffhangers and this story has held my attention.
Book 2 starts right off where the first book ended. Since I don’t want to spoil anything, let just say that a lot is going on.
We see Leo and Trinity both grow into their roles and their relationship is starting to take shape. We also see a few familiar face from the Bride series.
And I was yelling ‘Don’t end the book there” by the last page. Luckily the next book will be released in a few short weeks.
AMAZING world building, erotic, and Sci-fi ROMANCE at its BEST! A MUST-BUY!
The way that Grace Goodwin writes her superbly descriptive and sensuous prose had this reader/reviewer on the hook within the first paragraph. If you have not already done so, PURCHASE THIS BOOK! Then clear the calendar for the next couple of hours with a glass of wine (or water if you prefer it) and dive in. While I could STRONGLY suggest that the reader begin the story with reading the “Ascension Prequel” and “ASCENSION (Part 1)” before reading “ASCENSION (Part 2),” one could start with “ASCENSION (Part 2)” and the story would be just as compelling. “ASCENSION (Part 2)” is exactly what the title suggests . . . the second part of the story about a royal ascending to the throne. However, what neither the title nor the blurb tell prospective readers is how easily Goodwin’s smooth pose will capture a reader’s imagination, how rapidly the alternating voice between the heroine and hero of “ASCENSION (Part 2)” will endear the characters to a reader’s heart and have that reader rooting for their happiness, and how the intensely complex, action-packed, and compelling plotline will pull readers out of their world and take them to the matriarchal world of Aleran! For those who are already fans of Goodwin’s INTERSTELLAR BRIDES Series, some of her fan’s favorites make appearances and give a glimpse of life beyond the epilogue. I voluntarily read “ASCENSION (Part 2)” and this is my honest review and 5+STAR recommendation! As a practice, I do not give more than 4½ stars to a novella, but “ASCENSION (Part 2)” is just too good to limit and there are two more parts to read! Happy pages!
In this one we get more on Trinity as she explains what has happened and is worried for her sisters and her mate Leo who I absolutely love to pieces and is determined to protect her at any cost as she makes her way to rule the planet but its not going to be that easy as they go up against the enemy. These are wonderfully written characters and the storyline is amazing and captivating and nots let forget hot as Trinity Arger is sated and Leos awakening is full force. I find this series mind blowing and I love every word. So looking forward to a whole lot
