Ascension Saga, Book 6 is the third and final book within Faith’s trilogy, but continues the saga between the Herakles sisters. Faith’s mate has left her, her future is unknown, and her mother is still missing. Can Faith and her sister twist their plots in order to convince Thor that she’s more important than his family honor, all while trying to find their mother?
I loved this conclusion to Faith and Thor’s romance! It was just a sweet and action packed as the previous books, full of passion, love, and fighting for each other and the future of Alera. Faith was determined, fierce when needed, and I loved that while the events of the previous book were upsetting, she didn’t let anything keep her down for long. I really enjoyed reading about everything she did to win Thor back. Thor only wanted to keep Faith safe, happy, and protected, even if that meant he needed to stay away from her. The events in this book were fast paced, definitely full of passion, and I was flipping through the pages trying to find out what would happen next! This saga has been amazing to read and I loved the conclusion to Faith’s romance!
The conclusion of Faith and Thors story is excellent. Thor has walked away from his mate when his mothers treachery comes to light she has tried to poison Faith and instead kills her husband and then herself. He knows his family name is ruined and does not want to taint her with it. Instead he tries to root out the traitors planning her death. Faith however is not allowing this and comes out to the planet as the second princess. Can she show Thor that she loves him and will stand by him through anything and protect him from his mothers crimes? Even if she has to knock him out and tie him to a bed this princess is gonna keep her mate. This is an excellent read I have been dying to see what happens between Faith and Thor as well as finally finding out who some of the conspirators wanting to take the throne are.

Story continues with the Jax’s parents passing and Faith saving Jax in the end, things keep getting better and better and whole crazier with lots of steamy love scenes in between. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
I am loving the Queen Celene mini moments. Faith shows her steel in this book and steps up the royal stairway to claim her place and her mate. I cannot wait to find out what Destiny is mixed up in. I am completely committed to seeing the Herakles girls reign victorious over their enemies. Perfectly written to keep you hooked but also give you some answers too. More, please!

Story 6 picks up where story 5 ended and once again, things are progressing quickly, as Faith steps into the public light and several pointed announcements are made. A great conclusion to Faith’s main portion of the saga.
Annnnnd, here is Destiny’s story! She is the warrior, we were told she loved Marshall arts; was the sister who knew how to kick ass. LOL And, now she is undercover, as she infiltrated the Clerics, a very powerful force in Alera . Her sisters discover that she is in danger. A fierce fighter, assassin for Alera ,Nix has rushed to help her. And, he finds out that she is his Mate.
Uh, Oh, Destiny does not want anyone to protect her! She would like a partner but she is drawn to Nix. Two Alpha’s – yes, the sparks fly and there is a battle of wills. It gets very steamy, suspenseful, powerful emotions and mystery.
We know each of the sisters – Trinity, Faith and Destiny are strong women with distinct strengths and with the help of their Mates, they slowly get closer to discovering the mastermind behind the plot to overthrow the Aleran ruling family.
This is an amazing collection of SciFi erotic, romance stories at its best! Grace Goodwin continues to keep us engaged, worried, loving the twists and turns in the story. Don’t forget that each book is a cliffhanger, each book tells its own story but they are all intertwined and each story keeps you on edge and is a page turner. The Princesses have found their mates, but they are not safe, their mother has not been found and we continue to worry and fret and try to wait patiently for the next story………….
Wow this series is just phenomenal. It just keeps getting better and better. The suspense and intrigue is very well written. And the sex scenes between Thor and Faith are so intensely hot. A great series that I just know I will reread over and over.
Book 6 – Faith & Thor #3 – Here’s a problem I have with reading a series, Yes they’re great to read, once they hit either an ARC or open to purchase – it’s easy to follow. But only if you’ve read the first 5 – or 2 – depending on how you look at it. I absolutely love reading forward for Ms. Grace, at any time but it can be a little wearing. If it went more than 3 per character I don’t think I would be into it as much. I don’t think it a great idea for an author/writer to carry a series too far. Faith and Thor first come together with Faith being a “servant girl” for his parents, who when caught for snooping falls in love with her judge and jury, Thor. By #3 Thor is questioning whether he’s good enough for Faith because she’s announced to the world of Aleran that she’s the second princess, out to find her mother, the true queen. See what I mean about taking a story too far ?? The longer it goes the more the characters get confusing or lost. I’m just super glad that Ms. Grace is such an awesome writer that keeps her stories fairly tight. Onward and Forward we go.
I love this series!! I love Faith and Thor!! She is a kick a$$ powerhouse!! She takes care of business!! Thor is a man after my heart. I have loved their journey that they have taken. Would recommend this book and series to anyone!!
A great conclusion to Faith’s main portion of the saga. After the devastating cliffhanger from part 5, Faith puts on her big girl panties (or at least the Aleran version of panties) and does what she needs to do to get Thor back and continue the search for her mom. The bodies are piling up as the plot to overthrow the the rightful rulers of Alera continues. Thankfully, Trinity’s gift allows them to know whom to trust.
The Aleran Ardor ensures that there is plenty of close physical interactions between our H and h, but I must confess that I skim through those sections to get back to the story quicker. I am still loving the fact that these over-protective Aleran males are all virgins until they find there One and then they make like Energizer bunnies.
The characters created for this saga are fantastic and fully developed and I cannot wait until Destiny gets to meet Nix – we not going to see sparks, it’s going to be lightning bolts between those two.
Grab this saga and its prequel and enjoy but fair warning – it is a nine part saga, where every three parts are grouped (Trinity 1-3, Faith 5-6, and Destiny 7-9) and cliffhangers abound.
love Faith she is a force not to be reckoned with as she takes charge of Thor and lays down the law. Coming out with the speech the whole land now knows the truth and things are going down, very exciting as the sisters and their mates follow the trail to their mother and the traitors.
Perfect end for Faith’s book! I can’t wait for Destiny’s turn to be in she spot light.
This is an amazing read with lots of sexy steamy scenes. The characters are perfectly crafted and will bring you in a fun and captivating adventure. I like that the book not only has strong sexy alpha male, but also strong females characters ready to fight for what they want.
This is another good addition to this series. There is plenty of drama, edge of your seat tension and intense emotions as the last piece of Faith and Thor’s story arc unfolds. I like this series and I enjoy each new addition but I’m always left unhappy with the length of each offering. Such a complex and powerful story could only be made better by having more time to add details to characters, world development, the story and their emotions.
This is another great one in this interstellar series from this author. Again – only my view and preference, I really like the stories a bit longer and with all there is to it within one story. This story as the previous ones is only five or so chapters, they have been five to seven chapters if my memory is right, so really short all of them, but combined into one, they would be just absolutely fabulous!!!! That is also the only thing about these that I am not an absolut fan of. The story itself, I just love it and love it and love it!!!!! Love the characters, the world building, the descriptive ways of all the surroundings and the people and their characters. So five beautiful stars and nothing less for this one.

Sci-fi ROMANCE at its BEST! A superbly sensuous and erotic romance, and a certain MUST-BUY!
The way that Grace Goodwin writes her superbly descriptive and sensuous prose had this reader/reviewer on the hook within the first paragraph. If you have not already done so, PURCHASE THIS BOOK! Then clear the calendar for the next couple of hours with a glass of wine (or water if you prefer it) and dive in. Also, it would be kind to let readers know at this point is a free Prequel that provides some backstory on the three sisters, but it is not essential to read the Prequel first. “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 6)” is exactly what the title suggests . . . a story about a royal ascending to the throne. For those who are already fans of Goodwin’s INTERSTELLAR BRIDES Series, “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 6)” will feel like you’ve come home again, despite the brave new world of Aleran. However, what neither the title nor the blurb tells prospective readers is how easily Goodwin’s smooth pose will capture a reader’s imagination, how rapidly the alternating voice between the heroine, FAITH, and hero, Thor, of “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 6)” will endear those characters to a reader’s heart and have that reader rooting for their happiness as well as the successful completion of their mission. In this 6th book, Faith makes a very public statement of forgiveness to Thor and the house of Jax, and she also uses her Citadel given skill in an effort to save Trinity and herself. The question is, will it be enough to keep them from capture? So, readers know that this intensely complex, action-packed, and compelling plotline will pull you out of your real-world circumstances and take you deeper into the matriarchal world of Aleran! I voluntarily read “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 6),” and this is my honest review and 5+STAR recommendation! As a practice, I do not give more than 4½ stars to a novella, but “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 5)” is just too good to limit. While this novella ends the story focused on Faith and Thor, it is not the end of the story. There is so much more to come! Happy pages!
