So again we start right where we ended in book 4. Faith and Thor are trying to find the traitor in Thor’s house even though he really doesn’t want to believe it at all. There is no way his family would ever do anything like that.

I Book 2 of Faith and Jax’s (Thor’s) love story… This one we get another piece of the puzzle,Jax’s mom tried poisoning Faith but ends up killing her husband cause Faith doesn’t eat meat. Then kills herself after throwing a crazy fit and admits what we already think. This makes things hard and sad for Jax to take in. I am amped up and ready for more..

Ascension Saga 5 is the second book of Faith and Thor’s story. I’m loving this series and how each book continues where the last book left off. In this book we get more of Faith and Thor and how perfect they are for each other. This book is a great addition to the Ascension Saga and I can’t wait to read book six to find out if Faith and Thor get their HEA and if we get more clues to who took the Queen and why.
Ascension Saga, Book 5 is the second book in Faith’s trilogy, and continues the overarching storyline of the royals of Alera. Faith and Thor have been ripped apart due to Thor’s suspicious activity. Can Thor prove his innocence or is it possible that fate chose wrong when it came to Faith and Thor?
Oh my goodness, this book was romantic, steamy, full of suspense, and I am practically biting my nails with the events in this book and over the outcome! Faith gets to transform from quiet maid into a confident and centered princess, even when struggling with her Ardor! I loved that she was faced with some difficult decisions in this book and she was able to think them through and act on her gut. Thor was tortured knowing he was innocent, but not sure how to prove it to Faith. At times, they both seem so secure in their relationship and bonding, but I loved reading about everything that stands in their way of happiness. This book intense and the ending is killing me with suspense in how Faith’s trilogy will end! I loved this addition to the saga and I look forward to what will come next!

There is suspense, drama, danger, poisoning, traitors, a mating, mystery, and romance but a lot is still against them. I want to read the next book. Whoa, just when things are really heating up between Faith and Thor, so many secrets to Alera’s politics and the deceit is revealed. We find out who’s behind the attempted murders AND we discover just who is the traitor in the Jax house. It’s not pretty—and Faith and Thor are in real danger still!
As is Queen Celene and Trinity!
But, whoa, the romance that’s bloomed between Thor and Faith is absolutely perfect! And I love that her “power bestowed by the citadel” is so not Faith’s normal course of reaction. LOL
I cannot wait for the next installment to see just what happens now that we know who’s betrayed the Jax family and just how quickly the real “mastermind” will be revealed!!

This is the fifth book in the Ascension Saga. It continues Thor and Faiths story from book four. They are wonderful characters with great chemistry. Can Thor prove that he is not a traitor? Another great read in this series.

When I finished reading Book 4, I went straight into Book 5! This is an amazing collection of Sci-fi, erotic, romance stories, at its best! Remember, each book ends with a cliffhanger, each book tells its own story but they all intertwined. Even though they find their mates, they are not safe, their mother has not been found, so we continue to worry and care about them. The Saga is one long story and the focus shifts between the three princesses – We have read Trinity and Leo’s story (books 1-3), we are reading about Faith and Thor’s story (books 4-6) and impatiently wait for Destiny’s story (books 7-9).
The stories are sexy, fun, full of suspense and mystery. They are well written and hold lots of surprises. This book is no different since it ends with one BIG shock! I will be anxiously waiting for the next book!! Grace Goodwin, I am really not a fan of cliff hangers but I can’t put these books down.
Another Great Installment!
Book 5 is a continuation of Faith and Thor’s story. It was fantastic!
There are some interesting developments. Some of the conspirators are unmasked making them much closer to finding the Queen! It ends in a shocking cliffhanger! I can’t wait to find out what happens next! I look forward to reading Destinys story!
This is book #5 in this sci-fi/fantasy/romance series. It is the second book to focus on Faith and Thor’s story arc. To ensure your reading pleasure and for complete understanding, I do highly recommend reading this whole series and in order. I have to say that Thor and Faith are my favorite couple. These fated mates have so much that must be dealt with an overcome on the road to their HEA. The overall plot of the series continues as the search for the traitor continues. Lots of drama, danger, intrigue and emotional turmoil in this book and it does end on a cliffhanger. Eagerly looking forward to book #6.

The search is still on for the Queen and Thor and Faith have very many obstacles standing in their way as they become closer and closer to the traitor and their sexy hot mating. This gave us answers to a lot of questions some good and some bad. Faith is a very strong willed woman who takes nothing from anyone and speaks her mind which I loved, they know their place, and that ending was intense that I cannot wait for more. Im loving this series.
Grace Goodwin’s Ascension Saga is a serialized story in the Interstellar Brides’ Program and I’m having a great time with the stories. Story 5 gives us more details in terms of Queen Celene’s location and what they want but we’re still wondering who the big man (or woman) in charge is; although it’s safe to guess the whys. We then continue with Faith’s story as she takes on the ardor and her mate in all its sexiness. Likes: I LOVED the interactions between the two sisters; especially from Jax’s point of view. And I’m really enjoying the strong female characters and the mates who love them. Overall, this series is engaging and I’m enjoying both the sisters’ respective storylines as well as the main mystery.
Sci-fi ROMANCE at its BEST! A superbly sensuous and erotic romance, and a certain MUST-BUY!
The way that Grace Goodwin writes her superbly descriptive and sensuous prose had this reader/reviewer on the hook within the first paragraph. If you have not already done so, PURCHASE THIS BOOK! Then clear the calendar for the next couple of hours with a glass of wine (or water if you prefer it) and dive in. Also, it would be kind to let readers know at this point is a free Prequel that provides some backstory on the three sisters, but it is not essential to read the Prequel first. “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 5)” is exactly what the title suggests . . . a story about a royal ascending to the throne. However, what neither the title nor the blurb tells prospective readers is how easily Goodwin’s smooth pose will capture a reader’s imagination, how rapidly the alternating voice between the heroine and hero of “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 5)” will endear the characters to a reader’s heart and have that reader rooting for their happiness as well as the successful completion of their mission. Nor will the blurb tell readers how the intensely complex, action-packed, and compelling plotline will pull readers out of their real-world circumstances and take them into the matriarchal world of Aleran! For those who are already fans of Goodwin’s INTERSTELLAR BRIDES Series, “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 5)” will feel like you’ve come home again, despite the brave new world of Aleran. I voluntarily read “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 5),” and this is my honest review and 5+STAR recommendation! As a practice, I do not give more than 4½ stars to a novella, but “ASCENSION SAGA (Book 5)” is just too good to limit and there is more to come! Happy pages!
