*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
I must say that Mika is totally awesome!! This book just made her even more so. We pick up during the aftermath left from the events of the last book. Mika has secluded herself from everyone but now has to rejoin society whether she wants to or not. Continuing to stumble across secret after secret she is tasked with freeing the Morrigan which is a doozy of task to say the least. Makes for a book that you just cannot put down as it all unfolds on page after page. A total must read! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Oh my goodness this series is just getting better and better. It is jammed packed with drama and mysteries with a big dash of suspense. It is a story that draws you in from the beginning to the end. Yes, the books do end in cliffhangers but the ride getting there is absolute glorious. It is extremely well written and the characters are stunningly developed. This story is magnificent in so many ways. It is the drama and suspense that pulls you into it so beautifully. It makes you feel like you are part of the story. That you have an investment in how it plays out. This series is a fantastic must read and it doesn’t disappoint.
Mika will do a major transformation during this story. Through the pain of death, betrayal, love and hope she will become what is needed. But can she handle what she needs to do? She had to kill her own sister and that will haunt her. The men in her life do seem to be increasing. Some of them become friends and allies and some become lovers and family. This will be a dark time for her but she has them and several friends and family to help her and train her.
I absolutely loved this book. This was amazing. The build-up and the number of threads tied off in this book is freaking amazing. Every chapter seemed like it had a major reveal or a mini climax. I need more. I need everything. I am not ready for it to end, but dang do I love it. Mika is so amazing and I literally cannot handle how awesome this book was and this series. Also, the number of people that we just met that could have their own series…..holy crap.
Well fuck me silly. This book was too hilarious. It surprised the fuck out of me and I have to say, can we get some more Lucien and Ethan time with a side of Malachai, Corbin, and Dagon too please!!!!!!!
Long love the last Blood Queen
After the challenge in the last book and her time in isolation Mika has to learn how to be around those who she loves. It’s heartbreaking to see Mika back in a place that she was in during previous books but it rings so true to what the character has been through.
This really come to a head in this book and truths are discovered. Mika has to build up the ones she can trust and embrace being a the last morrigan.
Can we speak about the side characters everything she introduces a new person I love their characters. It makes me happy to think of all the spin-offs that could possibly be coming
