Arzz risks the death penalty when he abducts Spirit Freedom. He had every intention of returning her home unharmed at the end of the fourteen-day Quest. Will love interfere and demolish all his good intentions?
Arzz
My government betrayed me, stealing the one thing I wanted–a chance to take an Earth female for fourteen days to court her and make her mine. I take matters into my own hands … wanted–a chance to take an Earth female for fourteen days to court her and make her mine. I take matters into my own hands with every intention of sending her home and accepting my punishment at the end of two weeks. I never dreamed my little Earther would be so much more than I bargained for.
Spirit Freedom
There’s a reason I chose this ridiculous name–it was my pledge to myself that no one would ever control me again. At least that’s what I thought before huge, purple, gorgeous Arzz from Zinn stole me from my home, took control, and piloted me on a magical tour of the galaxy. Nothing is as it seems from the first moment we meet, and the more I know him the less I want to return to Earth.
But he’s in trouble with his government, and my happiness is their bargaining chip.

ALANA KHAN, Thanks for the road trip. This book ARZZ & SPIRIT’S STORY was so good. This story had me laughing, then goin awwww. At one point in the story I’m practically holding my breath, thinking. . . NO . .NO . .NO !!!
I just adore ARZZ. He is from the planet ZINN. ARZZ goes on a love QUEST that is pretty much doom from the very start. Still, it’s his life long dream. You can’t help but love this sweet guy.
SPIRIT is a real ‘spitfire’. She’s had some tragic events in her past Thus causing her to become a loner I love how even though SPIRIT is shut off from people, she still manages to keep an open mind and heart.
When the two meet, it’s not an insta love. They admire and respect each other, and there is a sweetness between the two. Don’t get me wrong, there are some seriously heated, hot moments….whew!!!
I tried to read this book slowly. I really did…. I FAILED. . IT WAS SO GOOD. . .. Then at one point I was like….
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. . . . . . . I just can’t. . . I JUST CAN’T… sniff sniff . . .
I think I said it was a GOOD BOOK. . . They were just TOO CUTE !!!
Disclaimer – I am an alpha/beta reader for the Alana Khan and received a free ARC digital download of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The book begins in first person narrative by Spirit Freedom, who we quickly discover is in hiding, living as simple of an existence as possible so as not to be found. Until she wakes up bound to a chair, she believes she’s doing a good job of keeping well hidden.
I enjoyed the journey Arzz and Spirit took me on – it was a story full of many emotional ups and downs, but I’m glad the book ended the way it did. Spirit and Arzz overcame so many boundaries to their relationship and came out a loving and happy couple. I personally enjoyed seeing the softer sides to their romance, particularly after reading the previous 3 Zinn books.
I also really like that book 5 – Trev is a first person narrative book by none other than Arzz’s father and after getting to know him a little in book 4, I’m extremely delighted by this prospect.
Very enjoyable read. Once again Alana delivers on steamy sex scenes & happy endings but this time she adds a plot twist at the end, one you don’t see coming. Arzz is an honorable male who is determined to treat Spirit, his human female guest with compassion & tenderness while enjoying her companionship during the 14 day Quest. He does not expect her to fall in love with him or to want to return to Zinn as his mate. They are perfectly matched & a true love story.
I received a arc and volunteer to review this book. Another fantastic book to this series. this.
Fourth book in the Mastered by the Zinn series.
Arzz – Huge, purple, dominant, betrayed.
Spirit – Emotionally damaged and afraid.
Can these two people find love against the odds? There is romance, adventure and danger. The sex is always consensual and dealt with sensitively given Spirit’s background. The characters are easy to relate to. The dialogue flows easily. I laughed. I cried. I loved the surprise ending, too. I really enjoyed this book and had trouble putting it down and I would recommend the others in this series. I received an advanced copy for an honest review.
Arzz: Book Four in the Mastered by the Zinn Alien Abduction Romance Series is WONDERFUL! It’s a stand-alone addition to the Mastered by the Zinn series that is very different in tone than the first trilogy. You still get a dominant male with a strong but instinctively submissive woman, however “Sir” and her following his commands becomes a part of their relationship in a natural way, not as a demand in their first moments together. Anything sexual is 100% consensual with some light bondage in a scene or two, nothing heavy. Their banter is sexy-sweet, naughty fun, often making me chuckle while I blush.
Arzz takes Spirit in hopes of experiencing female companionship for at least the 14 days of his Quest allowed by Zinn law, always believing she would choose to go home and forget him. Spirit is a trauma victim who finds herself in her worst nightmare when taken by Arzz. While Arzz is a warrior whose scars are external, marking one side of his face, Spirit’s scars are all inside, eating her up with fear and anger.
The way these two souls find connection is simply beautiful. Arzz is commanding yet respectful, patient and truly kind to Spirit. Spirit is strong and clever, and once she accepts what she cannot change, she is thoughtful about her situation and how gently Arzz treats her. She blooms under his attention and care. But there’s a lot Arzz isn’t telling her and Spirit will have to fight to keep the one she loves.
This story has it all: wounded people who find their soul mate, moments of deep connection and healing, sweet and spicy lovemaking, danger, adventure, romance and redemption. Throw in visits to Jurassic Planet and a Renaissance Fair World and what more could you want?
Arzz is my favorite book by this author, to date. The main characters steal your heart and run with it. I laughed and cried, but couldn’t put it down. You won’t want to either.
I recieved this book in exchange for an honest review.
Arzz is the fourth book in the Mastered by the Zinn series (different couple than the first three books) This series just gets better and better! I Love Arzz and Spirit, they are perfect for each other!
I received an advanced copy for an honest review.
Great read! Love this series, however, Arzz is not your typical Zinn. Quick and steamy read that keeps you turning the pages until the very end. I received an advanced copy for my honest review and do highly recommend this book and Alana Khan!
This is the fourth book in the Mastered by the Zinn series. This is the book I was waiting for! It far exceeded the first three books. I think because in this one, the hero Arzz had more compassion and it didn’t immediately jump right into the dominant/submission like the first three books did. Don’t get me wrong, there is the sexy time of dominant/submission in this one, but it didn’t come across as harsh as the first three book. I also thought the heroine was perfect for Arzz. I really liked how she was flawed and how the hero took care with her in the beginning. There was also more action involved and we were transported to new plants and locations. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I would highly recommend this to others. I received an ARC for an honest review.
The characters are very realistic and so wonderful.
I loved this book. Kept me on my toes, trying to figure out how they would get their HEA. A death sentence is a big problem to overcome! My favorite part was the reference to Jurassic Park.
I wish though that Arzz had gone to visit Brett and gave him what he deserved!! Poor Spirit. It took going to space to be truly free.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this review.
