This is an book about a strong family with wonderful characters and a few violent situations. I love the mother for her unconditional strong love for her sons. And Fallon is a girl coming from nothing and growing in to everything. It is quite an amazing book, I am very curious about the other sons stories.
Art of Seduction is the first book in A Stern Family Saga. This is Gabriel and Fallon’s story and it was amazing. Once I started reading Art of Seduction I just couldn’t put the book down. Fallon’s mother drank alot and turned her out when she was 18. Catherine Stern is the matriarch of the Stern family, and took Fallon under her wing. She trains Fallon to be the perfect lady for her son Gabriel. Of course, Gabriel has no idea of this. I loved watching the evolution of Fallon’s character. This book takes you on a journey with so many twists and turns, intrigue, with plenty of emotional depth, and the love of family. It’s a beautiful story that’s wonderfully written with strong and intriguing characters. I just can’t recommend this book enough.
The Art of Seduction is book one in the Stern Family Saga by Monique Orgeron. I thought this was a masterfully written book. Orgeron weaves an elaborate web around the reader until you are sucked into a world of lies, deceit, seduction and romance. I thought her characters were well constructed and likable. There are quite a few steamy and explicit sex scenes. The Stern family are not who they appear to be on the surface. There are plenty of twists and turns to hold your attention. Orgeron keeps the story moving and the reader hooked. I’m looking forward to more. I was given a copy of this book.
Well written.. Stong characters, and did I mention that I feel like I know these characters personally.. Female Boss!!! Oh ya!!
This book was my first journey into the world of the Sterns. *spoiler alert* Catherine Stern, the matriarch of the Stern Family, decides that it is time for her oldest son, Gabriel, to settle down and continue the family legacy. Not any woman will do for her son. Catherine has watch Fallon from afar, Catherine grooms Fallon to be a woman her son won’t be able to resist and an asset to the Family. A woman strong enough to lead the family should she be called upon to do so. I <3 this book.
Why have I not read this series sooner? I am kicking myself.
I am addicted already and I want to be Catherine Stern. This woman is as deep as the ocean, a well of mystery and intrigue. So unbelievably strong and a devoted Mother to her boys. Arrrghhhh I bloody love her. I really want to skip to her books, but I won’t because I’ve a feeling I need to prepare myself for all this woman has to say.
Anyway this is Gabriel and Fallons story, He is Catherine’s eldest son and she wants to see him settled down with the perfect girl and she has found the right one in 18 year old Fallon.
Now I want sure how I felt about a Mother choosing for her son but as I said this woman is a deep well and she has reasons for everything she does. I loved her all the more for doing what she did.
I adored Gabriel and Fallon together they were a slow burn because even though he wanted her Gabriel was onto his mother’s plan and he refused to be told who to be with.
It was fun watching him try to restrain himself and I loved Fallon when she got brave enough to go after her man. I was like YES you get him girl.
I’m excited to read the rest of the series there are some fantastic characters I need to know more about. I already love Liam and Zander those two cracked me up in this book pushing all Gabriels buttons over Fallon.
However it’s Vin that has my attention…what’s his story? I need to know because that guy has secrets. I can’t wait to find out.
I don’t even know where to begin on how much I loved Gabriel and Fallon. Loved them enough to finish their book within 2 days! This is my first read by Monique, and while I do see room for improvement, I still enjoyed the story fully. And mostly that’s all I’m really interested in because it’s the story that hooks its teeth into you and keeps you flipping page after page.
Gabriel, the defiant alpha that he is (cause we all know Mom’s right always) didn’t want to listen but when he finally figured out mom knows best he came running on his hands and knees (what a sight that puts into my brain!)
Fallon, this heroine could possibly be on the top have of favorites. She’s witty, resilient and of course a beauty. I LOVED watching her grow into the woman Catherine saw her to be.
End result: it’s a top read that you’ll enjoy fully. The series, hell yes! I was super quick to purchase the next book and follow these delicious brothers.
Would you let your mother pick out your spouse?
Now with that, I have to say I love a good arranged marriage book but this book isn’t quite that.
Fantastic book my first by this author and I loved it.
Fallon and Gabriel are both dynamic and intelligent characters well developed and hard not to love. I very much look forward to the next book.
My daughter gifted me this book. It is like no other I’ve read. There’s darkness, love and an amazing loyalty. It has an incredible story line that’s not for the faint of heart. Well defined characters that were interesting and a bit scary! I can’t wait to read the other brothers stories! And I have a feeling that learning about the true Chatherine willed be like peeling an onion. We will get her story one layer at a time!
This is my first book by Monique Orgeron and it won’t be my last! I absolutely fell in love with the Stern family and with Fallon! These characters are so strong and likable, each of them having gone through personal things in their lives that make them who they are. Catherine is the leader of the Stern family, being the mother of 4 grown men. She wants what is best for them and doesn’t make any show in hiding that. Fallon is a wounded young woman that Catherine takes under her wing. I loved watching Fallon grow into this confident woman! She and Gabriel were definitely meant for each other! I loved the twists and turns in this book and how the author didn’t let the story end once Gabriel and Fallon were together. The secondary characters were memorable so much so that I look forward to reading more on this family!
