Art of Loyalty is the fourth book in the Stern Family Saga. Vin captured my interest from the very first book and I could not wait to get my greedy hands on his story. After all, I claimed him books ago. 😉
Vin is everything I wanted and so much more. Monique did a fabulous job with his story. For a man who is always quiet and in the background, he has so much to say. In true Monique fashion, Vin’s story comes with the twists and turns we never saw coming.
I devoured Art of Loyalty just like I have every book in this series. I loved catching up with all of the characters from the previous books. Monique always delivers an original and unique story line that draws you in and doesn’t let you go until the last page. Art of Loyalty is a MUST read.
Each one of the books in the Stern Family Saga keep getting better and better! This story is about Vin and Brittany. Both characters have been in previous books, and each one has a very interesting backstory. I really liked how Monique wrote this book. She didn’t start if off where the previous book ended. This story in written over a range of time and incorporates the other storylines within pages, but focuses on the story of Brittany and Vin.
Vin definitely has a dark history that has been slightly discussed in the previous books, and boy was it really dark! His character had been through so much and the secrets that both he and Catherine shared and their past was explosive. Some of it I was guessing at, but I didn’t’ really understand the true backstory for what is was. And Brittany’s is no cake walk either. Her backstory is heart wrenching, but made her character so much stronger than I had originally given her credit for.
Again there are twists and turns in the story that I was not fully expecting, and I really liked it. These books are written to show strong men, but it is the women that hold the power and they are written to show that. Catherine is very strong and the hell that she lived through is heart breaking, but it only managed to make her stronger and it is that strength that she gave to the other characters.
All in all, another wonderful additional to this awesome series. I really hope to see more because their story cannot be over!

The series continues with Vin’s story; his story was the most troubled of all. Vin was a tortured soul right from birth. His story just breaks my heart apart for the situations he has endured. More secrets are revealed as the story continues to indirectly gives us Catherine’s and William’s story. This author can make you feel so many emotions ranging from hatred to love, anger to sorrow. There was one scene in particular that just had me laughing out loud.
This series has strong male and female characters; it has to have. An organised crime family cannot show weakness of any kind. I think this author has the right amount of darkness without be overly graphic so you get the feeling of a dark story with characters that have had to not only fight their way to the top but stay on top. I like how all the characters from previous books continue to play a large part and the timeline continues to progress.
Told from a multiple POV the book takes a steady pace as Vin starts to embrace his feelings that he has always tried to keep buried until now. I wasn’t sure if his choice of partner was right for him at the time I started reading this, I’m still undecided. This is possibly because Vin has been the quiet one throughout the series so far so I couldn’t really get a fix on his character until now. By the end I think the dynamics worked and they made a formidable couple.
The ending had me throwing my kindle. If you are invested in this series as much as I am; be warned!
Wow another GREAT book from this author! I could not put this book down. I loved Vin, the poor tortured soul with SO MUCH emotional baggage! I just wanted to give him a damn hug so bad through most of it! Brittany too! They were both SO broken, it broke my heart! This was the fourth book in the series, but you could totally enjoy it as a stand alone. Vin’s past had been such a mystery, I’m so glad this book answered some of my burning questions, now I can’t wait for Catherine’s book to answer the rest. Yes, Catherine has grown on me, I totally didn’t like her in the beginning, but by the end of this book I was solidly in her corner. She is the personification of grace under struggle, even if I don’t agree with her decisions with the insight of the chapters here and there from her point of view I at least get why she made them. Way to knock it out of the park Ms. Orgeron, you have succeeded in leaving us wanting more while still providing us with a definitive HEA. Now hurry up I can’t wait for more LOL!
Art of Loyalty by Monique Orgeron is book Four in the Stern Family Saga. This is the story of Vincent Stern and Brittany. I have read the previous books (and loved them) you can make this a standalone book but it does coincides with some of the other books.
Vin has a awful childhood from day one never to get better until he did something to stop the abuse. But he still suffered the bad memories with dreams that kept him from a peaceful sleep. Then he met Brittany (we met her in book 1 Art of Seduction) he had one night of peace with her but unknown to feelings he did something to hurt Brittany’s feelings. But he couldn’t get her out of his mind.
Brittany had a wonderful childhood but her parents died with she was just starting out on her own. So she had to do something to earn money to take care of her sister and help pay the mortgage on the family home. So she made the choice to sell what she had to help her family…her body.
We see through time Brittany and Vin working through their feelings to find each other.
Another Great Story by Ms. Orgeron!
Holy sh*t!!!!! Monique has done it again! Art of Loyalty does not disappoint and has truly made me a loyal Monique Orgeron fan! The Stern family is one of my favorite series! Strong female characters that stand up for themselves, their men and their family. You do NOT want to get in their way. While each book focuses on one of the sons, the main story is on Catherine (the matriarch) and the woman that has or will capture her son’s heart. This is a book that you need to clear your calendar for because you will not want to put it down once you start. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!!!
This story of the matriarch’s son Vin is gut wrenching. Everything he’s been through his whole life will have you in tears with your heart breaking for him. I loved this book. Couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to read Catherine’s story next.
Lots of secrets are revealed in this book. Some I suspected (I’m pretty good at figuring things out) but some were surprising. Vin and Brittany want each other but don’t want to admit it. It’s fun watching the dance they do. Vin’s past comes back to bite him and puts all of them in danger too. These books are great!
wow this book blow me away. i was drawn in from the first page tell the very end. you are able to feel the feeling rolling off the words. this is the first book that ive read by this author and will not be the last. this book keep me on edge tell the very end. this is a must read book.
I have been this series from the start. Book 1, 2 and 3. The one thing they all had in common besides being amazingly written was that Vin remained a bit of mystery to the readers. While present, his role was the broody silent sexy type. Finally, Monique Orgeron has given her readers the chance to fall in love with Vincent.
This book was written slightly different than the previous books, while the other could easily be read as a standalone Art of Loyalty while not require it is highly recommended the previous books be read. As it starts off in a past scene and then jumps into the present time.
While your given glimpses of Vin’s life through the other books, you don’t get the full pictures. It was unnerving reading his tale and watching how it all unfolded for him. You felt for Vin. It was hard for me. I just wanted to jump into this book and hold this fictional character. I wanted to tell him how much he was loved and wanted. I just wanted to reach out to him. (Seriously, I’m not crazy. Read it and you’ll feel it too.)
Beside the past being the center point and secrets (I mean HUGE secrets) coming out the plot twist or should I say the multiple plot twist had me so frazzled but in the most delightful way. Now I know I just say I wanted to tell him how much he was loved, well Vincent also had me feeling like I wanted to throat punch him. I mean this guy seriously, what he did…Oh Brittany took it easy on him.
Brittany was an amazingly strong and confident counterpart for Vincent making this cat and mouse game very entertaining. The back and forth banter, the constant second guessing and the steamiest scenes that have crossed my kindle this year.
Art of Loyalty will not disappoint. Love, healing and action this book will only leave you craving more.
Omg. I don’t even know where to begin with this book. I’ve been eager to read Vin’s story since the very first book. And let me tell you, Monique Orgeron did not disappointment! This is seriously her best work!!!
Vin is the family enigma who quietly sits in the background doing what needs to be done to protect his mother, brothers, and their wives. He has many secrets that he’s hiding because he doesn’t want anyone else to bear the burden that he feels needs to be carried alone. These secrets have led to him feeling that he is uncapable of receiving or giving love. Therefore, he never seeks out anything more than momentary pleasure. Until she walks into his life. Vin never expected to feel more for anyone other than lust, but this woman unknowingly wormed her way into his heart and he is unable to let her go.
Vin’s story is one that you CANNOT miss. It is absolutely amazing and draws you in from the very beginning. Because it is the 4th book in the Stern Family Saga, I strongly suggest reading the other 3 books first. However, if you are desperate to experience this awesomeness right now it can be read as a stand alone. Thank you, thank you, thank you Monique Orgeron for this spectacular book, if I could give you more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat.
This was a hot sexy captivating read about Brittany and Vincent. Loved their interaction and banter. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t stop reading until I finished this naughty thrilling story. The sexy times were super hot. This awesome series keeps getting hotter and enthralling. Can’t wait foi read more by Monique Orgeron.
I really liked this book and this series. The chemistry was really good. The charactors were good together. Great read.
This is a series and while the book can be read as a stand-alone, it is better read in order to understand more of the characters better.
Vincent Stern has been raised by Catherine for years and is treated as one of her son’s. He is the quieter one and tends to stay away from all relationships due to his own troubled past and the way he grew up before Catherine took him in.
Brittany Duplantis is a high-priced escort that was once involved with Vincent’s brother, Gabriel. She has a set of rules that she abides by and has no interest in settling down with anyone.
When Vincent and Brittany meet sparks fly but so do their personalities and a misunderstanding between the two results in the two not speaking. But the two still have chemistry and as they each go through certain events, the other is there to help the through.
But can they get through the walls they have built around them and when they are both faced with certain things will they turn to the other for assistance?
This was such an amazing book and I really love this series. There is so much going on yet everything flows together so well that you feel like you have a vested interest in the outcome of the book.
So I was really curious to learn more about Vincent as we knew him but knew that he was so much deeper than we could have imagined. I loved how protective he was over his sister-in-law’s and how guarded he was with others. He did not like to show his weaknesses to anyone and he hated the nightmares that he had. He was powerful and was definitely intimidating!
Brittany worked hard and prided herself on keeping her life on the professional side and she did not want any man to crossover to the personal side. I loved her friendship with Fallon and the rest of the girls and I loved how they did not judge her. Her relationship with her Grandpa also really made me smile!
The twists and turns with Brittany and Vincent kept me on the edge of my seat as I knew what I wanted to happen but I was truly unsure of what all they had to go through. I understood both side with the first disagreement that they went through and it cost them a lot of time. I loved how in times of crisis they were both there for each other but that didn’t mean mistakes were forgotten. I loved how Vincent really tried to do the right thing countless times but it kept backfiring on him!
The ending was incredible and I a completely freaking out about what is to come in Catherine’s book!!
Art of loyalty is the 4th installment of the Stern family saga.
Vincent Stern is dark and mysterious in many ways.
In this book we get a look into his tormented past and how became the person he is today.
Brittnay whom we met in Art of seduction is a smart, sassy high class escort who has become some what a daughter to Catherine.
She is the only woman to hold Vin’s interest.
They have so many hurdles to overcome but will that be enough to keep his demons at bay.
That ending oh my that ending!!

Carla’s Five Star Review
Art of Loyalty is the fourth book in the Stern Family Saga, and it is Vincent and Brittany’s story. While I recommend reading the other books in this series, this can be read as a stand alone.
Vincent aka “Vin” had a childhood filled with horror and abuse. He finally reached his limit and did what he had to in order to stop the abuse. He thought going to war would help him keep his nightmares at bay, but it only made them worse. Because of these nightmares, he never sleeps. That is until Brittany. He and Brittany share one magnificent night, and he did something to ruin everything. He tries his best to move on, but he just can’t get her out of his head. Brittany has her own set of issues, and much like Vin, the last thing she wants is a relationship. As the story progresses, Vin and Brittany both develop feelings for one another, and we see them both doing their best to work through their issues. With the odds stacked against them, is a relationship between them even a possibility, or are they just too damaged?
Oh, Vin. I fell in love with him in the previous books, and I couldn’t wait for his story. After learning about his childhood, I wanted to climb in the book and give him a hug. Now Brittany-it took me a little time to warm up to her. We don’t get her background until a little later in the story, but once I discovered why she was doing the things she did, I had great respect for her.
This entire series is perfection. The Stern brothers are something else as are the women who love them including Catherine. Now Catherine was some character! She loves her family, but she is not one to be messed with. She has no problem kicking butt and taking names. However, I am a little worried for her book because there is something fishy going on with her.
Once again, this amazingly talented author has created a story that will draw you in from beginning to end. There is also the perfect amount of angst, drama, and heat. One click this series now, so you will be all caught up for Catherine’s book.
Vin and Brittany’s story did not disappoint this is an amazing series that I love. Vin has issues and needs help but first he needs to admit it. Being with Brittany helps but she will not commit to him and pushes him away. The Stern family is one of strength and loyalty and being there for each other but will they accept what Vin did. This series is a must read I can’t wait to find out more about the family. Highly recommended.
Vin is as loyal as they come to Catherine and his brothers. He has had a bad childood and he joins the military to get away from it. He meet Brittany and his world shifts. Brittany is an escort and she does it cause she has to. When she meets Vin they bring each other peace and when things are put to the test we will find out where their loyaltys lie and if they are stronger that what threatens them? Amazing emotional read that keeps you wanting more and more
This is Vin and Brittany’s story. This book is all about loyalty and if people in this day and age had the loyalty these people have for each other, the world would be a better place
I’ve wanted Vin’s story since the very first book, Art Of Suduction. He has always been a mystery. Well the wait is over ladies Monique gives him to us.
These books are stand alones but in order to enjoy the whole story you need to go back to the beginning and start with AOS.
I would definitely recommend this series to anyone that would listen.
Great job! Two broken souls found each other and happy ending, love their story so much, I’m giving it 5 stars.
