Unbelievable book loved it want it in a book
Avery and Liam’s story is amazing, I recommend you start with book 1. Monique does NOT disappoint with any of her books. This one touched my heart and there are triggered issues in this story, that may not be for some readers, with Twists, plots, revenge, ROMANCE, LOVE, and FAMILY, you will absolutely fall for this series!!!
Whew!! Love strong female characters!! I am HOOKED!!
Art of Forgiveness Oh MY GOSH! The feels I experienced reading this book. This is a story of young love that doesn’t stand the test of youth. The young would be lovers are reunited under tragic circumstances. Liam finds his first love has gone through a life altering experience and helps her to rebuild her life. Avery fights with everything within her to come back from a horrific situation. Liam finds out the obstacles that prevented their young love no longer exist. Avery has become a force within the Family.
Love love loved this book. This series has me in its grasp and I won’t rest until I’ve devoured every book.
Avery and Liam have a beautiful young love but Liam is struggling with his position in The Family. He’s the baby of the Sterns always looked out for somewhat sheltered from exactly what his family does. So finding out what’s expected of him leaves him with a difficult choice.
The choice Liam makes changes everything. The girl he loves will never be the same, he broke her to protect her.
Years later Liam gets to save the girl he left behind. Avery has literally gone through hell, he might not be able to bring her back.
Once again Catherine Stern steps in to save the day. This woman is so perceptive, I really admire her.
My heart broke for Avery but also I admired her strength. The things she endured could of so easily destroyed her.
Avery and Liam took me on an emotional rollercoaster. I just adored them together.
I can’t wait to read Zanders book but it’s Vins story I’m still looking forward to the most. I think this mysterious man might ruin me.
Sometimes forgiveness is harder than love. This book is all about forgiveness. Liam and Avery were in love when they were in high school. But Liam never wanted anyone to know about it. Avery had a hard time in high school and Liam had a horrible ex-girlfriend.
When Liam finds out what the family business is he feels Avery is too pure to come into his life anymore and lies to her to break her heart. Years later when he goes to save his sister-in-law (last book) he finds Avery in a dungeon. Little does he know she had been missing for weeks.
Know Avery has to heal. Avery and Liam find that healing is the easy part. But forgiving for Avery is the hardest part for her.
This book is emotional, hard, and sexy at parts. I loved Catherine in this story. She has become such a great character. Fallon and Avery are great additions to the Stern family and I am excited to read the next book!
(No Spoilers, as my review stays in line with the books blurb)
4.5*****
Almost instantly I started this book after reading Art of Seduction! And I wasn’t disappointed. I could see how the author grew in her writing style. (Though there still feels like there’s parts that just feels a little stiff or forced). But I loved this read even more than the first installment.
I was ready to begin this story the minute Avery was introduced in the previous book and we met this new side of Liam that we didn’t even know existed, the man who knew what he wanted and would kill everyone in his path to protect her. Hell yes, you read that right. The sweet Liam we met turned into this alpha male that would take no prisoners.
Absolutely loved reading how Liam and Avery truly knew each other and had this young love that unfortunately never made it because Liam was trying to protect her from the life he was born to lead. Instead of the wonderful happy white picket fenced life Liam thought he was freeing Avery for, her story turned to the worse sort of way that broke my heart over and over. Liam, the sweetest alpha male he his, takes his woman and teaches her how to accept his love he so freely gives to her and everyone around him.
This book, so far is my favorite in this Saga and I can’t wait to read the next!
First complete book of the year and man was it a great one.
Slow burn
Life lessons
A lot of highlights
One of the best books I have ever read HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This book talks about things no one talks about and I loved it.
And Liam holy hotness batman he may be a top 5 for me.
If this ^^ didn’t give it away I freaking loved this book. Y’all watch out for Monique this is novel #2 and she is a force.
I in no way mean to belittle what happened to Avery, but I connected with Liam. I did enjoy the transformation of Avery at the hands of Catherine and the overall storyline, but it was Liam that drew me in. And the description of the Stern men? Well, I’d love to “meet” them all!
There’s a part of their story that I don’t like, but they’ve drawn me I and I must read the story of each Stern Family member!
