Julian Hunt is a legend. A tech billionaire and a playboy philanthropist. He’s not someone you meet, not without a six-month wait. Except I did—and not in that sweet, meet-cute kind of way. I wishNo, I manage to run head-first into Julian Hunt in a nightclub. It’s the spill-my-drink-over-his-suit kind of headfirst, the break-my-heel kind. But the arrogant bastard doesn’t leave. No, he carries me … bastard doesn’t leave. No, he carries me to my car. He implies that I fell on purpose to catch his attention—how dare he!—and after I’ve chewed him out, he asks for my number.
I don’t expect to see him again. After all, lightning doesn’t strike twice. Except it does, when Julian’s involved. Because when I walk into a business negotiation the next day, who’s sitting on the other side?
Julian Hunt.
He’s wearing a smirk and a perfectly tailored suit, and he’s not there to play. He dominates. I walk out of the negotiation having—somehow!—been offered my dream job. It’s an offer far too sweet to refuse.
But if there’s one thing more intimidating than Julian Hunt at a nightclub, it’s Julian Hunt as a boss. A persistent, dominant, sexy-as-hell boss.
He might have decided that we’d be perfect together, but I won’t be tempted by his broad shoulders and wicked tongue.
Julian might be a hunter
But I refuse to become prey.
“Arrogant Boss“ is a riot of a romantic comedy, starring a billionaire bad boy looking to woo the woman of his dreams, a pint-sized girl with big dreams and a ton of sexy banter.
Stand-alone, no cheating and HEA-guaranteed!

Remember way back when, when reading romances made your heart overflow and you just were happy? This book had that effect on me. Witty banter, smart, flawed characters, great side characters, a touch of heartache, low angst, aching vulnerability and a happy ending.
Olivia Hayle is a one-click for me. It’s between this story and her Ice Cold Boss story as to which is my favorite.
This book is fantastic. The author does a great job of setting tbt scene, creating romantic tension and making you root for the characters. The anticipation of the relationship and sweetness of the guy was fantastic. The author did a great job with the storyline and there was no enemy of drama to take away from the love interests. Excellent book and now I’m going to find all her books and follow her on Instagram!
Falling into his lap and then his life
Arrogant Boss is the story of Julian and Emily and how they stumble into a relationship. This story was a fun read but did not quite hit the mark all the way for me. I liked the characters but Julian was not really arrogant all the way, at least the way I would expect based on the title. But with that being said he was still a nice character in that he was a tech billionaire who became enamored of the beautiful and intelligent Emily. He ends up being able to make changes to his life in order to pursue and win her over. Emily was a good h in that she was able to look after herself and also stand up for herself. But she could also appreciate what was what Julian was offering both herself and her younger brother.
I thought this book was nicely written with a good story-line. It was a bit drawn out in areas as I ended up skimming parts of the book but overall it was a good read.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
A captivating read from beginning to end! An exciting storyline that leaves you breathless wanting more! Sexy steam filled chemistry! Emotionally heartfelt, enjoyable and fun! One heck of a twisted, intense rollercoaster ride! An amazing must read!

Emily was about to start her dream job at Hunt Enterprises, so tonight she was out celebrating with her roommates and got drunk. When leaving she breaks a heal and is help by none other than Julian Hunt, only he thinks it’s a ruse to get to him. Now she has to go to work embarrassed but decides she wants to break into business and despite his rudeness to her, she does a good job. He finds himself more and more drawn to this small dynamo with big dreams. Can they overcome their personal issues to be together?
This is a sweet contemporary romantic comedy that touches your heart. With its wonderfully developed characters, likeable, filled with personality and flaws, you can not help but become engaged in the story. The storyline is great. The narrative is wonderful and the romantic scenes are delightfully filled with great romantic banter. This is the kind of book that puts a smile on your face and keeps you turning the pages because you just have to know what happens. It pulls at your emotions as the characters grow, overcoming their inner fears and insecurities to become aware of what they really want and what they need to be happy. This is a well written romance worth reading.

Well, well, well, Miss Olivia Hayle, I must say I really enjoyed Arrogant Boss. Julian is a sexy as hell, billionaire techie God with a panty melting smile and a boatload of charm. Emily is a young, highly motivated woman who has been taking care of herself and autistic computer genius younger brother for years. The two meet at a club and the sparks fly but they reach epic proportions when they meet again across the boardroom table when Emily’s brother negotiates a job with the billionaire. Part of the package – a job for Emily as well, because Julian has set his sights on her. You could cut the sexual tension with a knife and the best part is, it’s the boy doing the chasing and the falling head over heals for the girl. Although reluctant at first, Emily falls too and they finally get their much deserved happily ever after.
My first book by this author and I can say that it won’t be my last.
Arrogant Boss was a fun, slow burn, sexy read that will have you hooked from the first chapter. Emily and Julian are two characters that you will fall in love with. Julian is smitten with Emily on their first meeting. And when he has the chance to be around her for longer he does everything he can to get her to stay. He’s a smart man, in business and life.
I loved the family aspect of this book. The way that Emily and Turner are together. It makes your heart so happy. The way that Julian sees those two and wants that for his brother too. When these two finally get together and all the truth is out there, there’s no stopping any of them.
I enjoyed this sweet read. It was entertaining and a must read for any romance lover.

Overall, Olivia Hayle’s “Arrogant Boss” was a cute, sweet, and fun story. I found it to be a light, enjoyable read, perfect for summertime at the beach or pool.
I’m generally a fan of office romances, but based on previous books I’ve read, it seems that when the hero is also the heroine’s boss, it can sometimes be difficult not to cross the line from romantic behavior into what seems to me like a form of sexual harassment. Fortunately, Ms. Hayle successfully avoids that here, and Julian’s pursuit of Emily did not come across to me as aggressive or threatening in any way. I liked that Julian was respectful of Emily’s wish to keep their relationship private (even though it did frustrate him at times), and that he continually made it clear that her job was not in any danger if she chose not to go out with him.
Julian and Emily were both likeable main characters, but I thought they could have been better developed. I would have liked to know more about Emily, in particular. Obviously there was more to the story with her parents’ deaths, which really weren’t discussed at all other than in passing mentions here and there. For example, why did Emily become Turner’s guardian at such a young age, especially when their grandparents were still alive? Also, Julian’s relationship with his late father and stepmother wasn’t really fleshed out, and I think if it had been, it would have provided a lot of context for his current interactions with his younger brother, Ryan.
Finally, I have to note that this book could really use another review by a good editor. There are a lot of typos (especially missing punctuation), words are out of order or missing entirely, verb tenses are mismatched (present and past used interchangeably in the same sentence/paragraph), as well as other problems present that could be fixed relatively easily by the right editor. Despite that, I’d recommend this book and would be willing to read others by Ms. Hayle in the future. The typos and other errors were certainly annoying, but not so bad that I wasn’t able to enjoy the story.

Olivia Hayle is a new author to me and I look forward to reading more of her work. I thought all the characters were great. I loved the relationship between Emily and her brother. And the chemistry between Julian and Emily was HOT. I loved the book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.
A sweet slow to love book. The author allows us to get to know Emily and Julian. I loved the added story of Emily and her brother and how Julian fit into that family dynamic. It really helped to explain why Emily wasn’t so quick to go public and took her time to make sure Julian was the real deal. Great storyline, interesting characters, and awesome office romance book. I received this as an ARC from BookSiren.
4.5 Stars!! Such a great book! If only meeting & falling in love with an almost billionaire was this easy! The male main character, Julian, is the perfect man-if there is such a thing!! He’s smart, hot, suuuper wealthy, kind, and later in the book, he’s in love! The female main character, Emily, is also smart & good looking and she has a brother, Turner, who is an autistic genius! This was a standalone book that I really enjoyed! The banter between the main characters is so entertaining, I couldn’t put the book down! I definitely recommend reading this one!!

Can a real relationship all start with a broken heel and a spilled drink? In the case of Julian Hunt, the tech millionaire, and Emily that is exactly how their saga started. It is an instant attraction for Julian but when he offers her a job at Hunt Industries will he be mixing work with pleasure? Can Emily be taken seriously at her job if she is sleeping with the boss? So much feelings but so many obstacles. The reader will instantly fall in love with Julian and Emily. Their sarcastic banter and their secret rendezvous make this a storyline you will not be able to put down. This is my first book by Olivia Hayle but it will not be my last. A fabulous read.
This is a new author to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The characters have amazing chemistry and wonderful dialogue. The plot is interesting and funny at times. This is an brilliantly enjoyable story and an absolute pleasure to read!

This was a lovely romantic read. The characterizations were good, well developed and showed growth. The main female character learned a valuable life lesson in her relationship with the main male character. She learned that in going into a situation on the defensive we leave out the opportunity for the positive to take hold. There were strong familial ties for both of the main male and female characters with their younger siblings. In the case of the main female character, we are given a glimpse into the daily living with a sibling who is on the autism spectrum disorder. Well done conversational gambits between the two main male and female characters. This was a very good original story.

Finding a new author who brings everything I love about romance in a story is a gem, but that’s what Olivia Hayle does in her latest release, Arrogant Boss.
The writing flowed, I was never skipping pages or jumping ahead, and even though we’ve seen this storyline before there were pieces that made it authentic to this book.
I don’t usually go for CEO, suit-type hero’s but Julian Hunt is the epitome of a bad boy inexpensive clothing. He’s assertive, charming, swoon-worthy and downright sexy.
I loved the heroine in this book. Emily was a little quirky yet sassy, and I instantly wanted to be her best friend. She holds her own with Julian but doesn’t come across overbearing, which was refreshing.
The banter between the two had me smiling the entire book, and their chemistry was off the charts.
I enjoyed the secondary characters and was especially smitten with Emily’s nineteen-year-old brother Turner.
Arrogant Boss is a win for Olivia, and I will undoubtedly be reading her work from now on.
Julian and Emily never expected the journey their relationship took. Bumping into the billionaire was never her intention then to have him pick her up literally, was not something she imagined. All Emily was trying to do was get home so that she can be ready for her brother’s big day. Imagine coming in and have said billionaire at the interview and then offered a job along with your brother! Nothing like she expected. Julian was enthralled with Emily from the moment she tripped and spilled her drink all over him. Now all he has to do is get Emily to see that they make the perfect match.

4 1/2 Stars
Sweet the way Emily and Julian connect over a game of pool. I liked the way Julian almost immediately changed for Emily. I appreciated the way the author omitted any “scenes” with other women to show what a player he was prior to meeting Emily ( kind of hate when authors do that). Their dual POVs were well written and helped with the storyline.
Author did a great job with the chemistry and spark between the main couple, that created a sense that Emily really was special and unique to Julian.
Easy to read, Romantic and Steamy!

I quite liked the dynamic of the H & h as well as their banter & chemistry. The smart sassy vs the cocky millionaire. The spilt drink has already been outlined in the blurb but Julian is the man she encounters the next day when negotiating a deal for her clever programming younger brother Turner. It even turns into a job opportunity for her.
There’s a lot of back & forth with Julian meeting his match as they are slowly drawn to each other. However the boss/employee dynamic comes into play. So you will need to read it to find out if they get their HEA.
It’s touching how she looks out for her bro & Julian learns a thing or two from her in relation to his own. Overall for the millionaire lovers. I did find Julian cocky rather than arrogant & it’s only a mild rom com not OTT.
