I’ve inherited my sister’s fiancé.She had him first. Alessio Salvatore. Charming, gorgeous, and completely off-limits. I watched him propose and counted myself lucky when my sister said “yes” to the notorious gangster. I have plans for my life. None of them involve sleeping with the enemy, even if it’s to broker peace between our families. But when my sister mysteriously dies, my life turns … mysteriously dies, my life turns upside-down. I’m now the heir of my father’s assets, and without an arranged marriage, our families are on the brink of war.
Until my father gives Alessio an offer he can’t refuse.
Me.

ALESSIO
I need Mia to understand three things:
1. We are getting married in a month.
2. I demand loyalty.
3. I want kids. Now.
I was meant to walk her sister down the aisle. A relationship with Mia would’ve been unforgivable. She was persona-non-grata forever until her old man gave me her hand in marriage.
How could I say no?
But wrangling the boss’ daughter is more trouble than I thought. When she’s not fighting her feelings, she’s fighting me. Never mind that we have more fireworks than dynamite. Or that we’re perfect together. Or that we’re marrying in a few weeks.
She hates me.
Too bad.
She’ll have to get used to me.
Author’s note: This is a dark, mafia arranged marriage, standalone romance. A young woman desperate to leave a life of crime and violence fights her arranged marriage to her late sister’s fiancé, a ruthless mob boss who demands three things from her: marriage, loyalty, and a baby.
As their wedding date approaches, Mia struggles with a decision that once seemed easy–escape his control or surrender to her heart?more
Vanessa Waltz is back to writing what made me pick up her books in the first place. I loved Alessio and Mia. Great couple. Strong characters. I do hope the author writes more of this style. I hate that it took her a few years to get back to it.
I can’t wait to see who she writes about next.
I read an advanced copy of this book.
I absolutely enjoyed this book. A riveting story from start to finish.
Alessio is the underboss of the Costa family. A dark, brooding hero with trust issues. Mia may appear to be naive or innocent but inside is a strong, smart and fierce woman who will do anything for the people she cares about. They both compliment each other perfectly and their intimate scenes were hot and sensual.
I rarely read this type of genre but to my surprise, however, I was completely hooked from the first page. This book is well written and characters are well thought out. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys action(mafia style), a bit of mystery, and a sizzling romance.
Arranged is amazing! Once I started I couldn’t put it down. Mia and Alessio’s story is tragic and beautiful. They are so different but they fit together. Both would do whatever it takes to make sure the other is safe and happy. When Mia was finally able to start healing from her sister’s disappearance and death, she is thrust into the arms of her sister fiancé. But she doesn’t let it hold her down. Alessio is finally getting everything he ever wanted. He just needs to get Mia to see that everything will be ok. Definitely a must read!!
FREAKING PHENOMENAL!!!
Holy hell! Vanessa hits the motherload, blazing a path so luscious and thrilling, running rampant, riding roughshod with such unbridled gusto, mixing it up and propelling this bad boy to life beautifully. Seizing the moment, traversing the trials and tribulations, along with startling twists, deft corners and tricky lines, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. Perilous drama, stunning intrigue, unnerving turmoil, chilling danger and thrilling suspense, take you deeper into this tangled web, launching this gem to staggering heights. The chemistry and attraction sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The personalities are well matched and balanced with just enough flaws for diversity. The characters and scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colorful descriptions so rich and lively, blending them together magnificently. Remarkable job Vanessa, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
An outstanding dark mafia romance with a subtle undertone of “an arranged marriage/enemies to lovers” It grabs the reader’s attention & does not let go until the last page has been turned. The story-line & plot is suspenseful, well-written & intriguing with good scene descriptions & world building. The well-developed characters have unique personalities with good chemistry between them which allows them complement each other. The secondary characters offer good support.
There is: a young woman (Mia) is given to a mafia boss (Alessio) in an arranged marriage to replace her apparently deceased sister (Carmella) & she is not too impressed with this situation, twists & turns, intrigue, drama, action, mystery, secrets, deceit, betrayal, mafia families, rivalry, alliances, jealousy, danger, abduction, threats, enemies, power struggles, violence, grief, heartache, trust issues, suspicions, misunderstandings, manipulations, distrust, compromises, vulnerability, confrontations, decisions, love, happiness, steamy scenes, contentment & a well-deserved satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed reading this mafia romance & would recommend it.
Will this arranged Mafia Marriage be a happily ever after for Mia and Alessio? With the Mafia you get drama, suspense and secrets, passion so this book will have you at the beginning until the end. I like the Mafia romance and suspense of these books. The chemistry grows between Mia and Alessio so this arranged marriage may not be all that bad, you will just have to pick it up for yourself and check it out. Mafia bad boy who can be a jerk but you can’t help but to pull for them both.

Mia and Alessio had chemistry from the start! This is the story on how they ended up together, and all the forces working on pulling them apart. Of course, they are their own worst enemies in a lot of ways, and getting them to their HEA was neither a straight line or simple. In the end, it was all worth it!
Mia Ricci is the daughter of a mob boss. In order to save his family, her father has agreed to a marriage between his daughter and Alessio Salvatore, a made man, and part of the Costas mob family. Mia is devastated that her father has agreed, he made a promise to her that he would never force her to marry a mobster. When her sister was promised to Alessio she was jealous, she had a crush on Alessio, but her sister has been gone for six months, presumed dead, now she will be forced to marry him.
Sexy, sizzling hot, and fascinating characters. Mia and Alessio will have many challenges, and face danger, but will realize that they are strong together, and they love each other. Action packed, and exciting, with some suspense, violence, and a happily ever after. Fantastic book, I loved it!
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.

Alessio stole my heart <3
It took his brooding arse a bit to learn to communicate
And wow does he have some groveling to do
Mia is a bit of a handful but not in a negative way - she isn't the wishy-washy heroine but she does battle with what society demands and what her heart wants
I wish this had been longer -
There were a few scenes that, for me, I would have enjoyed more detail or a better closing to the situations.
A lot of unanswered "But Why?" or "How" questions
I enjoyed the underlying sense of suspense but I felt some of the situations needed more resolution
Mind that I am complaining because I enjoyed the story
The cast had me from the opening- it was easy to connect with Mia and Alessio and Michael and ... (you get it)
The plot itself was easy to follow
The devil was in the details or lack of
I do hope we get more from this cast
Ms. Waltz most certainly delivered and poured her all into this drama filled mafia dark romance.
In the beginning Alessio is a totally ass but then again when your about to be the head of the mob, you have standards to up keep. He was set to marry the eldest Ricci daughter to bind the mob ties of two families but she went missing and enough evidence was found that she was dead but no body. Fast forward 6 months later, Mia, the youngest daughter is about to full fill the life that should have gone to her sister.
Little did we know that Alessio has always had eyes for Mia but thought it would never happen. For a mob boss, behind close doors, there is a more tender side to him that floored me but with a guy like him you never know if it’s an act or not.
Mia begins to fall in love with him but the night before the wedding, she finds out the truth and there starts the real drama and head spinning action.
Not to give too much away, this book will keep you turning the pages and have you up to the wee hours of the morning to finish.
ARC for an honest review
This dark Mafia, enemies to lovers romance starts off with a bang, and doesn’t let up until the end. Mia’s sister Carmela is missing, presumed dead. With her death, two Mafia families have to reshuffle their plans to join their families and businesses. Suddenly, Mia finds herself betrothed to Alessio Salvatore, who is affiliated with the Costa family. I enjoyed this book so, so much. I loved the characters, and hope a lot of the secondary characters (Vinn, Michael, & Tony) have their stories told. I was immersed in the plot, & this is why I love Mafia stories-they’re really all bad guys, but have redeeming features. I found this one to be well-written & had me totally engaged.
I received a copy of this book. This is my honest opinion, voluntarily provided.
The last thing Mia wants is to be engaged to Alessio but the choice is not hers to make. Alessio is the fiance of her dead sister and the last thing she wants is to be drawn further I to the family business by marrying the under boss of a rival family. Alessio has always wanted Mia but she was never an option for him until his fiance is murdered. These two are a powder keg of attraction from the start but Mua tries her best to fight her feelings towards him. Soon love wins the fight and these two start to develop real feelings towards one another but when the past rears its ugly head and emotions become clouded their love is put to the ultimate test. This book was a fabulous read that kept me on the edge of my seat to see what happened next on their story.

Arranged is about a daughter of a mobster, Mia, who marries an underboss, Alessio, of a rival family. Their relationship begins out of tragedy and obligation but ultimately blossoms in love. This book is fast-paced with the right amount of mafioso action, drama, and violence as well as erotica and romance. Alessio is super sweet on Mia. I couldn’t put the book down and I loved the ending.
I read an arc and willingly posted my honest review.
I couldn’t wait to get my eyes on this book after only receiving the first chapter & once received and read I was not disappointed. Not a fan of mafia based books, I couldn’t seem to put this one down. The unraveling love story and drama of Alessio and Mia was perfectly written. I wanted to dislike Alessio for his ‘chosen profession’ but couldn’t. For all those romance and suspense readers, this is definitely a must read.
Allesio was the underboss and right hand man to Nico, but he wasn’t tied by blood. His estrangement from his birth family pushed him deeper into his mafia lifestyle as his loyalty to the Costa ruled his life for six long years.
I liked the deep romantic streak between Allesio and Mia as this couple battle tremendous obstacles to be together.
It took a while before Mia could trust her feelings for her sisters ex fiancé as she mourned her sister’s disappearance and presumed death.
Well written with lots of tension and passion buildup between Allesio and Mia.

I absolutely adored this book! Very deep, multi faceted characters. The writing is so good I couldnt put this book down. Even woke up un the middle of the night to read it! Alessio is imperfect but tries to be a good man. He is sexy, strong and dark. Mia is a sweet, loving woman. Their romance is filled with danger and steamy scenes.
This began as a typical mafia arranged marriage book but very quickly Alessio and Mia proed to be anything but typical. There is emotion, lust, love and several unexpected twists that will keep you on edge. Through it all they do find a way to their HEA.

Delicious and dark, this mafia romance tantalizes the reader with an impressive story line and well written characters.
There are a few authors that I’ve chosen to one click their books. Vanessa Waltz is one of those authors! She writes well with great storylines and fantastic characters. Alessio and Mia were meant to be together. What a beautifully crafted romance with all the feels. I was angry, frustrated, heartbroken and then put back together in this story. One of the best Mafia stories out there. I look forward to the next book Vanessa Waltz will write!
