An Amazon Top-100 Bestseller! My name is Courtney Jane Salinger…and I’m sick of games.Sick of the Friday night bar-scene-cum-meat-market. Sick of the boy-girl, man-woman, mars-venus, flirtation-without-expectation, game-playing nonsense.Sick of awful dates and one-night stands, booty calls and guys who don’t call back, mixed messages or NO messages and—and—and…I’m sick of all of it. I’m done.I … and—and—and…I’m sick of all of it.
I’m done.
I just can’t do it anymore.
It’s too hard, and worse: little by little, it’s making me hard.
It’s breaking my heart.
What DO I want?
That’s easy.
I want a house in suburbia with a white picket fence.
I want babies to buckle into a minivan.
But most of all, I want to be married.
I want a husband.
So I’ve made an important decision: I’m making my escape from the dating world and the single life.
I’ve filled out my application on ArrangeMe.com and I’m putting my fate into the hands of experts.
Is it a little scary?
Sure.
I mean, I have no idea who I’ll end up with. After all, I’m planning to marry a complete stranger.
But between you and me?
I can’t wait.
Being arranged can’t possibly be worse than being single.
Can it?

Wow. Katy has done it again. This book has all the feels. Happy, funny, frustration lol.
Courtney knows what she wants and doesnt want. Doesnt want to date, doesnt want heartbreak. She wants a husband. And she wants him now, so she decides to sign up for an arranged marriage. She was so stubborn about this, but I get why she did it. Dating is not easy for anyone. She and her friend go to a bar every Friday for drinks, and this is where we meet Josh
Josh is so swoon worthy. Hes known Courtney for a while. They always goof around but when she decides to drop a bombshell (the arranged marriage) on him, he sees her in a completely different light.
Hes one of my favorite book heroes. Sweet, funny, charming, sexy, etc.
You have to read this book. You will fall in love with Courtney and Josh and you wont want their story to end. Good thing it doesnt!
Will Josh want to settle down? Who will Courtney be arranged to marry? And will Josh be too late in deciding what he wants for his future? You HAVE to read this to find out
First I have to say I need Dina as my best friend! She knows how to keep it real! At first I had doubt how I could like a book about a Arranged Marriage, but Katy gave it a new spin and I really liked the story. Courtney doesn’t want to date, she wants to get married. So she signup in a site to have an arranged marriage. With a total strange. At the same time, she starts to develop something for the trusty bartender Josh. Now what should she do? Can Josh offer what she needs? Can she go forth with her arrangement? I don’t want to give spoilers, so you need to read to know what Courtney decides! Can’t wait to read the second book in this duet.
I was completely delighted with Arrange Me! It’s a tone that’s so different from this author’s other books…light-hearted, witty, but not a rom-com. The story was such a fresh departure for Katy Regnery, and I think she’ll gain a whole new group of fans with this book.
I was intrigued the entire time to see the friendship between Courtney and Josh unfold, while also DYING to know who is waiting for her at the end of the aisle. The prologue was perfectly executed in setting the stage for the reader to wonder who is in store for Courtney’s HEA.
This was an entertaining and fast read. Each time Katy Regnery releases a book, I’m already hungry for more of her words, her characters, her storytelling. The same holds true for Arrange Me. One-click today!
At first I was a little scared of this book, not that I thought it would be bad but it was a new theme to me, but as I read it it became an instant favorite. Courtney is tired of the dating scene and wants to skip it all and go straight for marriage, white picket fence, etc. So she hires a matchmaking company to find her a husband who she won’t know anything about until she walks down the aisle. This turned out to be so so amazing that I could not put it down. At times Courtney did irritate me some because she could be so stubborn and determined to do things her way she couldn’t see others around her trying to help. The love story was unique but so endearing and the ending left me feeling so sad because I want these two to have their happy ending but they are about to face a world full of trials and tribulations. So will they stand and fight together or let the outside world break them apart? Can not wait for the second book.
Audio Review from August 2019
This book is super cute!
It’s not instantly obvious how it’s going to end.
I was, however, quite pleased with the direction the author took it!
The characters of Josh and Courtney are quite cute together!
The Male narrator was sultry perfection. The female narrator did a fantastic job but her voice isn’t my cup of tea.
Narrated by: Brooke Hayden, J.F. Harding
New York much
My one star isn’t because it’s too New York but because the plot sucks. I had to break it down in my head to see if it really had one, and it does. The pacing is rambling and the fact that there may a link to an actual website is a little creepy. The whole I give up everything but still don’t say the words is so New York it hurts. It’s like Bella and marriage is FOREVER. It’s protesting when you’re already past the point of no return. Or in literary terms, you are creating unnecessary conflict. You got enough you don’t need the “I don’t know” factor.
Not much. See my Amazon/Goodreads review
Some may call this a cliff hanger. Would have been better if it stopped before the airport.
He is a Bartender / playwright and She is a Wealthy family Financial wizard. Sick and tired of the dating scene she sees an add for an arranged marriage company. Alas, simultaneously, they discover they have a mutual attraction. Snarls up everything. Would be a happy ending if the author stopped at the initial resolution.
Not everyone would want to have an arranged marriage. Sometimes they work out in the most unusual way as in this unique story. Well written with interesting character development. Made me want to read the sequel.
Loved this book and loved the characters! I quickly bought part 2. Highly recommended.
But if you want the rest of the story you have to get the next book.
Leaves you in limbo for part two, next book.
Must know that it is a 2 part set.
2.5 Stars
I thought the premise of the book sounded intriguing; Courtney, the heroine is tired of dating in New York and decides to go through a service that arranges a marriage for you. She signs up for this program and tells her friend Dina of her plans and the Handsome bartender Josh overhears. Josh has been waiting on Courtney and Dina for a year at the trendy watering hole, and is attracted to Courtney. When he overhears her plan, he tries to convince her to not do this crazy scheme and give them a chance. Courtney stubbornly pushes him away because she would rather be married now to a stranger than take a chance on a maybe future with Josh. I normally like this author, but this book was just ok. Courtney was really annoying. She has a smart, kind, hot guy, who is totally into her, but she would rather marry a stranger who might be 500 lbs, have chronic halitosis, and have the personality of a doorknob. But at least she would be married. Also, this ends on a cliffhanger, not a fan. Don’t care enough about Courtney to buy book two in this series.
Cute fun read with an arranged marriage selected without ever meeting, except who shows up at the front of the alter. ready for books 2
This is the first of a duet. In order to get the full story, you will need to read Arrange Us.
Well edited.
Courtney Jane Salinger is fed up with the dating scene at the age of 29. She dreams of the marriage, the white picket fence, children, and the minivan. So, one night sitting at her favorite bar with her best friend and favorite bar tender, she discusses her desire for marriage. Even going to far as to discuss the option of arranged marriage as so often done in her friend’s Indian culture. Her friend, Dina, tries to talk her down from romanticizing arranged marriage. Her bartender, Josh, tries to talk to her about the advantages of dating. Neither make any headway. Once home, Courtney hears about a website that (for a fee) will help arrange a marriage for you. And Courtney says, “Sign me Up!” And so begins the wait for the Arranged Husband. Meanwhile, Courtney finds herself in need of an escort to a wedding. Why not ask bartender/friend Josh? And so begins the dating dance. Only Courtney refuses to date since she’s waiting on Arranged Husband. Both Courtney and Josh realize the could have feelings for each other, but Courtney’s on a path she refuses to deviate from. What’s a guy to do? Well, he tries to change her mind. He tries to get her to give them a chance. When nothing works, desperate times call for desperate measures. Courtney will not be deterred, but when she gets to her wedding and sees her groom – well, shock is an understatement. Will she keep moving forward or chicken out? And, here we move to book 2.
Exactly why Courtney is so unhappy with the dating scene isn’t really clear. She hasn’t found the One, but it really doesn’t seem like she’s had a string of bad breaks either. She definitely has a fairy tale kind of outlook on the whole thing. It works in India, so why not for her? It is very clear her expectations are very unrealistic. Stay tuned for Arrange Us to see how reality works out for her. Enjoy!
I loved this book, these characters. You need to read both parts/books. This story stayed with me. One of my favorite authors.
Cliffhanger Alert!!!! Courtney is beautiful, rich, has a great job, has great friends but she isn’t the life she wants. She is living in place until her real life starts. I liked the storyline, get off the dating merry-go-round and get married. Josh is bartending until his real life as a playwriter starts, he’s not looking to get married but can he let Courtney marry someone else. I enjoyed the build-up of feeling and the angst between these two. Waiting for part two didn’t take long (thank goodness). Five Stars for me.
What a great book! I was not expecting it to be so good, you know when you start a book and realize that the trope was done before, but as you read, the story is just on point. I really liked how they were friends and never acknowledged that they actually ‘saw’ each other. Just a bartender and a customer, but feelings were brewing every Friday night.
Was not expecting the ending, should have looked to see that it was a DUO… the cliffy was a good one! So be prepared. Cannot wait for the next book!
3.75 stars
Enjoyable read, the storyline grew on me as I turned the pages.
Courtney is a likeable character, she’s a successful woman, from a wealthy family, and is fed up with dating.
Josh, was my fave out the main characters, he was just more likable. Josh is a wannabe playwright that bartends to keep a roof over his head and that’s where he meets Courtney and their story starts.
The title basically tells the plot, and the storyline was predictable, that doesn’t take away from the authors good storytelling and ability to make you want to know what happens next!
I’m looking forward to part 2
