I can’t wait for the second book to come out in May!!! This story was not what I expected it to be at all, and I’m really excited to see where it goes next! .

So here we are….in a bar with Josh the hot bartender flirting with Dina and Courtney on the side lines. Josh the hot bartender that doesn’t know she exists. Done! She is done. That is how Courtney finds herself filling out an application for Arrange Me. A service that arranges marriages for people who want a spouse without the hassle of dating. They have experts and all. What could go wrong?
Josh can’t believe his ears. Courtney just signed up for an arranged marriage. Is she crazy? How can this be? He never got the chance to take her on a date. Is it too late??? Can he convince her not to do it?
This book was a unique and original story line. I find the concept of the arrange marriage intriguing and found it to be a fascinating story. The book not only had an original story plot, it was fun and exciting. The characters were amazing. Josh is the sweet guy, who watches from the side lines. He is very interesting with amazing talent. Courtney is very independent and strong willed.
This book is the beginning of Josh and Courtney’s story. Their story is about to take a nose dive in the next book and I am a bit worried for the future. They have a rough road ahead and it may just tear them apart. So be prepared to be left hanging on to find the happy ending that they deserve.
This was the first book by Katy Regnery that I have read. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a wonderful read, with an interesting and unique story line. It has lovable characters and moves along in a smooth and flawless pace. It is a sweet romance full of fun, with plenty of twists to keep things interesting. I am a new fan of her work, that’s for sure!!
So if you love the secret crush romances with a unique twist, then this book is for you. Finally a different approach. A different angle in the romance world, that is fun and interesting. So grab your copy today. You will be glad you did.
Courtney Salinger is a smart, beautiful investor in NYC who’s tired of the bar/meat market/dating scene. She and her bestie Dina go to their favorite bar every Friday after work to unwind and chat with hunky Josh the bartender. Courtney has kissed her share of frogs and wants a husband, house with a white picket fence, 2.5 kids, and a mini van. She is so done with dating.
She finds out about an on-line Arrange.me.com website from Lifetime TV’s show Married at first Sight and decides to let their professional matchmakers find her a husband who she will marry sight unseen. She signs up for this and her friends are shocked and try to discourage her. Josh realizes he has more than just friendship feelings for her but Courtney has her mind set on this route. Can he change her mind? But he’s a struggling playwright looking for his big break. And he does not want to get married – no way. Not now any way.
As the email arrives that tells Courtney she has been matched, things speed along. Two weeks to plan the wedding. To plan the Honeymoon. To change her mind? To marry a stranger? This book has all the feels! I couldn’t put it down! And then the end– I need Book 2 NOW!!! Six Amazing Stars!
My first book from Katy Regnery and what an amazing start, definitely will read her other books.
I thought this book going to be a fun easy-to-read, but I was so wrong, and I couldn’t be happier.
This is an unconventional love story, an intricate romance read. Not your typical arranged marriage, no insta-love, no rainbows and roses.
It’s full of doubts, it’s complicated, it’s frustrating, it’s a hardwork, full of tears and sadness and those what makes this book so beautiful, everything just feels so real.
This book really got me questions everything. Is love enough to make you say ‘I DO’? Do you need love to get married? Do you need to know each other really well to get married? Will you skip the get to know each other part and go straight to marriage? Will you marry a stranger? Will arranged married works?
Oh yeah this one is an unputdownable book, every chapter is a page-turner, the author keep me on edge, wondering will the main characters got their happy ending or not.
If you love romance read, you have to read this one.
I received a review copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was fortunate to win an ARC of this book. It’s really difficult to review without spoilers but here goes. I’ve been in a book funk for a bit nothing holds my interest for long. Book funk over! Courtney captured my attention completely. I was so wrapped up in this story that I was sad when company arrived and I was forced to take a break. The whole concept in this book is kind of crazy, I found myself thinking come on she’s bound to come to her senses. Definitely a unique idea. Supporting character Dina was fantastic! The only thing I’m not happy about would be waiting for the next book!
ARC received for an honest review
Get away from the idiot box, and that horrible show Married At First Sight, and dive into Arrange Me.
I have seen the name Katy Regnery around book world for a long time now, however this is my first Katy Regnery read.
And what a sweet and refreshing read it is. I have been reading a lot of crime and darker stories lately, and Arrange Me is the perfect read to get me out of the darker book space.
I am sure we have all been in the same headspace as Courtney, sick of dating, sick of kissing the toads to get to the prince. I am not sure I would go as far as she does though! That’s one heck of a big step to take!
There was something that I really hoped would happen, but you will need to read for yourself to find out what it is.
I laughed, I was full of hope and love for Courtney and her journey. There is a second part to this story to come, and I can’t wait to see where we go next.

Courtney Jane Salinger has had it with the dating game, she’s tired of the games and she’s tired of having her heart broken. All she wants is to be married and all that goes along with it –like commitment, stability, babies, a house in the suburbs. When she sees a commercial for a marriage-at-first site service where (for a nominal fee) you will be expertly matched with someone to marry. She’s a little nervous to have her fate decided by a group of “experts” but even more than that, she’s excited to build a future with whoever they choose for her. But when the day finally arrives and she’s walking down the aisle, will she be able to go through with it once she sees who’s at the altar waiting for her?
This was a fun story! I’ve never actually read an arranged marriage romance and I liked the extra little twist put on this one. I’ll admit, the idea of an arranged marriage like this is insane to me but I believed Courtney’s commitment to it. I also liked how pretty much everyone else in her life thought it was a crazy idea, that definitely made the story a little more believable. I don’t really want to talk about the different spin Katy Regnery put on this because it might spoil things but I will say that I loved the wrench this put in Courtney’s plans and I loved how it ultimately turned out because of this twist. Sure, it was probably sudden and a bit drastic considering the circumstances but who doesn’t love a little escapism in their romance? Suspend reality for a little bit and just go along for the ride in this one because if the ending of this book is any indication, reality is about to come crashing down on our newlyweds in the second half of this story that’s coming in a few months. I’m very excited to read that book because I really want to see if these two people, who are basically strangers, can make a real marriage work!
For those of you, like me, that get suckered into reality TV matchmaking shows, this book is for you! It takes the premise of Married at First Sight and throws in some curve balls.
Courtney Jane Salinger is done with dating. She is tired of dealing with all the flirty, dirty men and relationships going nowhere. She knows just where she wants to go and that is down the aisle. So she is taking matters into her own hands and applying to be matched online with her new husband-to-be. She is open, sweet, a bit desperate, and committed to this new process. And she is stubborn, so no matter how many people try to convince her otherwise she seems dead set on following through.
But sometimes life changes when you are making plans. And Courtney is forced to take some hard looks at her decision and decide if it is what she really wants. Because by opening this new door, she is fully closing another. She has no clue is will be waiting at the end of the aisle, but does know that it will totally change her life.
This was a sweet, funny, and romantic story told in dual points of view. There are some fun surprises. I really liked the characters’ personalities, banter, and chemistry, and I was rooting for them to have all their dreams come true in the end. But since this is the first part in a duet, they still have a bit more to deal with before their HEA. But I was still satisfied enough at the point it ended in this book not to feel totally cheated.
I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
*A copy of this book was gifted to me from the author and I freely give my honest review*
I love this story, it was filled with fun, angst and suspense that has an end worthy all the waiting. It’s a HFN ending so I look forward to the next book.
I don’t want to give spoilers so I keep it short.
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* Good, fun and plenty of dialogues
* The storyline is great and I have problems putting this book down.
* Hot chemistry between the main characters.
* Characters are well written in a way that makes them realistic.
I admire Courtney’s courage to go through with her insta wedding
5 stars recommendation.
Wow! Katy Regnery has done it again! She’s written a beautiful story and created characters that I’ve fallen madly in love with. It’s a lighthearted, refreshing, romantic, emotional, and sexy read.
Courtney just wants her happy ever after. She’s tired of being hurt in the dating world. She wants to fast track it and signs herself up on an arranged marriage site. Meanwhile, the hot, flirty bartender who never really ever gave her the time of day, suddenly does, but she’s off limits because of his job.
And she shouldn’t want him like she does because she’s going to be getting married soon, but the attraction is too strong for them to ignore.
The chemistry between the two is off the charts!!!
Is the storyline a believable one? Mmmmm…probably not, but that’s why I read romance. The fantasy. The possibilities. And this story solidifies why I LOVE to read romance. And I’m gagging to read the second book in May. Like, OMG Katy! You’re killing me in the best way possible.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Arrange Me is the first of two. To be honest, I was a bit sceptic about the storyline. I get that someone might be fed up of the dating scene but whoever wants an arranged marriage at this day and age? I was certain that the book would not be up to par to Katy’s previous work, but I was wrong.
Inspired by her best friend and colleague’s Indian roots and traditions, Courtney Jane Salinger decided to quit dating and apply to an online matchmaking company. On confirmation that her application is being processed, she receives a set of instructions from the founding matchmaking “experts” with ways to prepare for the future marriage. Rule number 1 – no dating. Concurrently, she gets closer to a casual acquaintance. At first, they both think their attraction is one-sided but the more they meet, the stronger the electricity between them. However, their timing’s all wrong. She wants to settle down while he is nowhere near ready to support a wife and family. While she is away on a business trip, the matchmaking company finds Courtney her future spouse.
Katy engages the readers from the start with Courtney’s description of her wedding up till the moment she sets her eyes on her groom, then flashbacks to the weeks before when Courtney makes her decision. The whole lot of secondary characters, ranging from nosey exes to popular friends to meddlesome family members, keep the reader highly entertained. However, the real page-turner is hoping to learn who Courtney’s spouse will be and if she goes through with the wedding.
Katy’s new romantic comedy is a sweet read and quite unlike the usual romantic trope. I can’t wait to get my hands on Arrange Us and see where Courtney’s journey ends.
This is funny at times and very unique love story. The characters will make you shake your head and think your crazy but in a good way. This is a story about Courtney and her determination to find love. I could actually see it being a Netflix movie. It’s a hard book to write a review about with out spoilers so I’ll say this if you like to laugh out loud, shake your head and swoon then you definitely must read this story! 5/5 stars
Awesome!!! I was really excited about this book when I read the summary. However, I was not expecting the emotion and angst that came from reading it. There were times when my heat felt like it was beating out of my chest and I needed to lock myself in my room so my children would leave me alone. I NEEDED to know what way going to happen. I loved it!! And while this book didn’t end in a cliffhanger, I really need the next book for the rest of the story
Katy Regnery’s book, Arrange Me, was a rare and unconventional romance! Courtney takes her love life into her own hands, choosing to sign up for an online matchmaking/marriage service. But her bartender and new friend, Josh can’t stand that idea, so he offers himself to be her husband. This offer starts their unique love story and with this offer comes deeper feelings than either Courtney or Josh were expecting. Even me as a reader.
Regnery wrote their story beautifully and expressed their thoughts truthfully and honestly.
I can’t wait for the second book in this series!
I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I’ve been reading Katy Regnery’s books for several years now and I know I can count on her to provide a fresh take on any romance story. In Arrange Me, she once again proved why she’s one of the top indie authors in the world with its unconventional premise and relatable characters.
I’m now in my forties and have been happily married for over a decade, but I still remember being late-twenties and being incredibly frustrated with the singles scene. I get exactly where Courtney is coming from and so will plenty of people who have unfulfilled desires no matter the success they’ve accomplished in other areas of their lives. Her solution of participating in an arranged marriage might have been extreme, but she was taking control of her life and I like that in my heroines.
There’s much to like in this novel. The smooth storytelling, the inclusion of diverse characters, the flipping of roles in terms of age and financial status between the heroine and hero, the realism of living paycheck-to-paycheck in New York City, and all the theater talk. I’m a musical theater junkie and I appreciate all the discussions and mentions of my favorite shows, especially that of Miss Saigon.
If I have a minor complaint, it’s that the arranged husband seems to be giving more to the relationship than Courtney has. So far. I hope that’s addressed in Arrange Us. I’d hate for the imbalance to continue.
Overall, I enjoyed Arrange Me and I’m looking forward to the continuation of Courtney and her husband’s story. It’ll be interesting to see how Katy writes the fall-out of the rash decisions the main characters made and how they will resolve the serious issues they’re facing now that the honeymoon is over.
This was so good! It was so very romantic and swoony. I absolutely love Courtney and Josh. I was totally caught up in the story. You know the feeling — laughing with the characters, gasping when something surpising happens, yelling at them to make a different choice, getting misty-eyed when they are tender with one another. All of that. I can hardly wait to read the next book!
Arrange Me by Katy Regnery is a standalone romance novel.
Meet Courtney Jane Salinger. She’s successful at her job, but is sick of playing relationship games for singles. She’s simply done. Yes, she wants the picket fence and stuff, but without going through one frog after another. She has the brilliant idea to join ArrangeMe.com – a site for arranged marriages – and she’s more than determined to pull through.
Josh Dalton is a simple man. He’s a writer, bartender and has a major crush on Courtney. Josh is bartender at her favorite stomping ground. They have crazy through the roof high chemistry and he wants to be her prince charming. But Courtney has her sights set on ArrangeMe.com.
Arrange Me is a sweet romance, a great story, excellent written and beautifully thought out and beautifully told. The story ends in a cliffie and continues in Arrange Us. I give 4,5 stars.
Out of the frying pan into the fire. Who needs the drama of a bad reality show, with Katy Regnery waiting in the wings. Arrange Me can charm the heart right out your chest. Witty, irresistible and with the heartfelt emotion Regnery is known for, Arrange Me turns clueless into cute. Courtney is a pleasure you can’t put down. I never stop looking for my next addiction and I think I’ve found the one.
This is a great start to a new duo by Katy Regnery. I was fortunate to get an ARC in exchange for my honest review. Regnery is one of my go to authors and Arrange me is part of the reason why. Arranged marriage is not everyone’s cup of tea as they want to fall in love and marry who they want.
Bring in Courtney. She is close to 30 and tired of the dating scene. She just wants to settle down and get married but without all the dating and breakups until you find the one. She decided to join a dating site that matches you with your “soul mate”. The catch is you don’t get to meet them until you walk down the isle to get married.
Bring in Josh. He is a bartender who has worked at the bar that Courtney and her bestie Dina frequent every Friday for the past year. Josh has had his eye on Courtney but the bar policy is you don’t date the customers. Courtney has her eyes on Josh but feels like he doesn’t even know she exists. One night Josh overhears her say that she just signed up on an arranged marriage website. Like most of us he thinks she is crazy and wants to change her mind.
This book had me intrigued and on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens next. Their story does not end here though. I can’t wait for the next book to come out to see what happens with Courtney and Josh.
