Will Courtney and Josh be able to work things out before she is married? Will Courtney go through with the marriage to a stranger? Will Josh give up his playwriting dream for Courtney?
I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving a honest review.
*Swoon* This book had some of the most romantic and sinfully scorching moments I’ve read in a long time, not to mention gorgeous, intelligently written, poetic with zany, giggle-worthy banter, I was pulled right in! To say that I cannot wait to see how this story ends up is an absolute understatement, I’m salivating over here. Once the flame was ignited on the pages, there’s no amount of angst that the Author could drum up (and did) that could put it out!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!

This is only my second or third book by this author but so far I have enjoyed her writing and storylines. This particular story takes you on a whirlwind adventure with Courtney as she gives up on dating and looks into arranged marriages. It was fun, sweet, sexy and funny with a little angst and suspense thrown in! I can’t wait to ready book 2 in this new series!
ARRANGE ME is Book 1 in the Arranged Duo. It is a married-at-first sight romance. This is a more lighthearted book then some of Katy Regnery’s books, but I liked the change of pace.
Courtney Jane Salinger was sick of awful dates, one night stands, and guys who never called back. Sick of games, and Friday night bar scenes full of flirtation without expectation. She was plain sick and tired of it all! What did she want? She longed for a house in suburbia with a white picket fence. She wanted babies to buckle into a minivan. But the thing she longed for the very most was to be married. Courtney wanted a husband, and she wanted him now! That fact made her make an important decision. She was so done with the dating world. She filled out an application on ArrangeMe.com, and put the fate in the hands of the experts to find her a perfect match of a husband. Being arranged can’t possibly be worse then being single. She hoped!
Josh Dalton is the bartender at Tidewaters. The favorite watering-hole of Courtney and her best friend Dina after work on Friday nights. He is flirtatious, and so attractive. But though he flirts, he doesn’t date customers. It is done to get better tips. He is a struggling Playwright, and waits bar to make rent on the two bedroom apartment where he lives with five other people. Just when Courtney has things planned out to get a husband, Josh…the wonderful, asked her out as friends of course. She says, “Yes”!
For the continuation of Courtney and Josh’s story, the sequel to this book titled ARRANGE US will be available in May. I will be impatiently waiting to read.
Y’all Katy Regnery handled this unique and unconventional storyline with the very sort of effortless grace I’ve come to expect from her writing. This is unlike anything she’s ever written before, but at its core, it still delivered in all the areas that make this author’s books so special. That is: Arrange Me was deeply romantic, beautifully written, and completely captivating.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect from an arranged marriage storyline, but even so – things didn’t play out exactly the way I thought they might. That was okay though, I enjoyed the surprise of it all and I especially enjoyed the way it sparked those butterflies in my belly, and ignited that flame in my heart that enthusiastically wrapped itself around these characters and this charmingly unorthodox love story.
Honestly, it sometimes felt like watching a favorite romcom play out on the big screen. There were moments that felt almost cinematic, like scenes from You’ve Got Mail or Sleepless in Seattle. Don’t get me wrong, the plot of the book is not really anything like either of those movies, but the feel of the book was similar to the feeling I get watching movies like that. There were scenes that jumped off the pages at me, and I loved every minute of it. I loved the way Ms. Regnery’s words lit me up inside, and took me on this sort of romantic ride. And then? Left me hanging on a sort of gentle cliffhanger waiting to see where things go from here.
And I’m ready! I want more! My heart is poised on the edge, understanding that there are many obstacles in the way, and filled with optimism and hope that it won’t come out of this too bruised from what lies ahead.
In case there was any doubt? Yes. Yes. YES, I think you should read this book! It was sweet and swoony and romantic. It caused my heart to pinch, and flutter, and overflow with feels. It wasn’t the story I was expecting, but it was the perfect story for these characters and the kind of story you read over and over again because it feels so good. I cannot wait – am literally hanging out here with bated breath – to see what Ms. Regnery has in store for us next…
I am such a fan girl when it comes to Katy and her work and this one is now one of my favorites from her. The thought of an Arranged Marriage puts so many thoughts in your head in this day and age. Courtney are heroine is fed up with the dating scene she has meet her fair share of frogs and worse. She needs help and when she sees the ad for this site it sparks an interest and she begins to wonder if this could really work for her. It is sweet, sexy, swoon worthy, funny and oh so out of the box! Katy certainly knows how to bring on the emotions and make me fall in love with her characters and their world !
Loved this one and I can’t wait to see where we will go !!

Reality TV meets real life is this sweet and endearing story of a disenchanted young woman who eagerly opts out of the dating game for the comfort and allure of an arranged marriage.
Boasting a unique and appealing premise with likeable characters that will engrain themselves upon your heart, “Arrange Me” is the story of Courtney Jane Salinger and her crazy quest for her very own–and very unconventional–HEA. But despite her newfound resolve, Courtney falters when it comes to Josh Dalton… a friendly bartender/playwright, who is about to flip Courtney’s steadfast plan right on its proverbial head.
A slow-burning romance based on mutual attraction rather than insta-love, Courtney and Josh’s budding relationship is idealistic, yet passionate and wildly addicting. Thus, I can hardly wait for this couple’s journey to continue, despite the pitfalls that will undoubtedly pave their way.
I’m a huge huge HUGE fan of Katy Regnery love everything she has written so I was excited to see that she started a new series about a plot that I haven’t read about it was refreshing . Courtney really spoke to me she has been through alot looking for the one and what she will do to find someone to spend the rest of her life with it’s really brave in my opinion .Oh my gosh Josh my heart really went out for him when he realizes he has feelings for the heroine but could it be to late . These two shared alot of chemistrey I wanted them togeather so bad and when we get to the OMG OMG I need book two in the Arranged series as soon as possible . This is a author you don’t want to miss out on you really need to get her books like write know .
