An interesting premise but the “hero’s” suddenly acquired all the skills they needed although at the start of the novel they were portrayed as lacking in a lot of abilities.
An enjoyable read. The storyline is engaging and while futuristic, it is still believable. I also appreciated that the author was able to create an engaging story with militarilistic foundations without using foul language or over the top gore. I would not be afraid to recommend Arms: War for Eden for younger readers.
I quit reading due to loss of interest in the characters.
Great read. Fun
There really was nothing in this book that was enjoyable . The plot was formulaic , the characters stiff and the writing was labored
Plot was too obvious, written at a middle school reading level.
Book was not really my style, could feel sorry for main characters, it was me not the books fault.
Already forgot what the book was about.
Really didn’t care for it, good premise but the story was lacking and the characters were dense to say the least. I will give credit for the world building but it all just went flat. I didn’t even finish it as I didn’t want to waste more time reading this when there are so many other books available.
Very good sci-fi
good syfy
Everything in this book was oversimplified, boring, I couldn’t get through it even though I usually can read anything.
It was an okay read not as much page turning action that i had envisioned.
When this started, I thought it was going to be a short read … as in I wasn’t even going to get half way. Then it sort of changed into a witty play in space. There are humerous bits, like Farker the robotic dog, and twisted bits, like restaurant scenes. On the whole though I enjoyed this book.
I read his other series of books, and arsenault has another great series here.
