“Sexy, steamy, passionate and oh so satisfying! Ms. Ryan really turns up the heat!” Old Book Barn GazetteDavid Waite, a wealthy British fundraiser in New York City, knows exactly how to please a woman, but he’s had enough of social climbers and users. His solution? “Arm candy,” a beautiful woman to accompany him as his regular date. She’s to serve as a dazzling accessory, not a prostitute or call … She’s to serve as a dazzling accessory, not a prostitute or call girl, with no strings attached, either emotional or sexual. Then he sees Nora, and he finds himself overwhelmed with a craving for sweets…
Nora Armstrong is a wholesome, virginal beauty fresh from the Midwest. Her cousin asks her to go out with David Waite as a favor to advance his event planning business. She can’t say no, any more than she can say no when David asks for a second date, and a third… According to “arm candy” rules, she should be safe… until David decides to break the rules. Suddenly Nora realizes it’s a risky business, being this smoking hot Brit’s faux girlfriend… and falling in love.
Arm Candy is part of the Hot City Nights series of steamy romances with urban settings, but it can be read independently of the rest of the series. It is a full-length, professionally edited novel with no cliffhanger!
“A sensitive yet very sexy romance that touches even the hardest heart… sexual heat that electrifies the storyline. A definite keeper and exciting to read more than once.”

Just average in my opinion. Not very memorable.
It had a good story line.
was an easy read.
Great
All he wanted was arm candy for a benefit dinner. She came to NY City to expand her jewelry business. She was going to stay with her cousin. He need the connection to David and begged his cousin Nora to do this favor for him. Little did he know what would happen next.
Loved it!
Typical story of girl meets “too rich for his own good” who is really a nice guy but…
nonetheless it is enjoyable.
At the first chapter, I wasn’t too sure this was the book for me, but I am glad i continued on to read this book, as it was a typical romance as the plot has a few twist and turns, I was not expecting. The main character, David, is a worldly British businessman with a knack for fundraising, and he not quite like other millionaire leads. He seems like he is from another time, especially when it comes to his sexual likes. David smokes, which I found to be very unusual, as smoking is a nasty habit, that it is usually saved for a sleazy character in a book, not the leading man. (though there is a scene, when David comes across as a big time sleaze.)The leading lady, Leeze, is a virgin, which she doesn’t try to hide from David. Leeza is likable, because she is so real, which only makes her current situation as David’s “Arm Candy” very uncomfortable, and her cousin’s role in the whole situation only complicates it for all. Add in an old busybody, a mini sub-plot between another couple, and you have pretty good read.
Was different from the normal love story!! Was a good read though!
Cute and fun reading!
I am going to begin with what I did not like about Arm Candy. I did not like that the main female character took too much of the responsibility for what went wrong at the end. She was not responsible, at least not entirely, so that kind of made me mad, even if it worked out at the end.
That said, everything else in Arm Candy was perfect. I loved the side characters – while I can not say too much about each of them, as they seem to have their own stories to tell – were superbly created and showcased. They made the best possible backdrop for a heartwarming story, that contained everything I hope for in a contemporary romance. Yes, the ending kind of ticked me off, and that is why it is not getting a 5-star rating, but overall the plot was expertly constructed, the chemistry between the two main characters real, and deep, and the setting interesting enough to keep me entertained.
I have never read a book by Patricia Ryan before this (not that I remember), but I surely will remember her after this encounter. Because Arm Candy is the third installation of the series, and I had not read the other two beforehand, I can certify that this book is a complete stand-alone, and in no need of prior knowledge of the other books. But, now that I know how good this Author is, I am surely going to read the rest of the series. Whether you choose to start with the first book or Arm Candy, I have a feeling, you will enjoy this hot read.
Heat Level
3.5 out of 5. Warning – this book is not clean, but it is not erotica either.

Good
Really liked it. Smart writing, not shallow.
Wanted to know more of this story! GREAT WRITING …so much so I bought another!
The ending was sudden and thus a bit implausible, but the book was entertaining. It seems to be common with these books… it is as if the author runs out of steam and suddenly needs to ends the book.
The story line is a bit different and it’s an enjoyable read.
I liked it very much. It had some surprises
Very good
