Some things in life were inevitable; death, taxes, and lying, whoremongering men.One woman would never be enough for one man.So I traded in men for a Harley.Nothing beats that kind of power between my legs. Then I blinked. And he was there. Some things in life were inevitable; death, taxes, and badge bunnies willing to hop into my bed.The only problem is I’m a one woman kind of man.In my line of … one woman kind of man.
In my line of work, I’ve seen it all.
Nothing bothers me until I find a woman’s wrecked body.
When she blinked,
My world changed.
Forever doesn’t come close to giving me enough of her.

(Dual POVs)
The story starts as Ariel is getting attacked by two men. Kayson, even though off duty from his job as a motorcycle cop, interferes and saves Ariel. Kayson feels an immediate pull towards Ariel when saving her. He goes to visit her in the hospital, but heard Ariel talking to a man and leaves. Three months later, these two cross paths again at a Harley meet and things blossom from there. Kayson immediately is head over heels for Ariel and knows she is his future wife. He has to convince her that she is more than enough for him, even though she hasn’t felt good enough for anyone in her life.
It’s not you, it’s me. No really, there was nothing wrong with this story. It was a good read. I just didn’t emotionally connect with it too much unfortunately. Kayson though, he was perfect. So caring, protective, and such a gentleman.
Favorite Quotes:
It was those eyes, which were full of hope and questions, that stalled the breath in my lungs. They told my heart to inform my brain that everything in my life had just changed. – Kayson pg 10
She was the reason I became a deputy. I didn’t know it back then, but it was her, and I would do anything to keep her safe. – Kayson
This was an amazing book. I can understand trust issues, but there was too many chapters relating to this. With any other guy they would have said enough is enough. There were a lot of funny parts with the girls, danger, kidnapping and finally a HEA.
Wow, I did not want this story to end!!!! I was rooting for Kayson & “R.E.L.” (read the story to understand the initials, lol. ) from the beginning!! This book did not disappoint!!!! Loved all the romance and suspenseful situations!!!!
Loved It
Such a great story. Ariel always felt like she was never enough, so when she moved to Orlando, she made friends and met her first boyfriend, who was a cheater like her dad. So she decided to find her own happiness and started riding a motorcycle which turned into her group of friends become the Akron Orchids. After her attack and being saved by Kayson she found out what true love is.
What a great start to both a new series and a new-to-me author.
I’m so looking forward to being able to delve into further books in this series. I’m well and truly hooked.
I love a book that can make me laugh and hard to put down. And this whole series is like that. You do not have to read in order. Definitely would what to hang out with the orchids and their family.
This was my first taste of Danielle Norman… and now I’ve read all her books! She’s such an amazing writer that you feel like you are right there in the story…and when she’s writing a series about Greek brothers that look like Gods – who wouldn’t want to be in the middle of that?!

Review:
I had a hard time getting into this book and to keep focused on it.
It was a nice story but it felt a bit long. It felt like certain things where repeated over and over again. Like Ariel heard something, made assumptions, got scared, ran, they talked and it was a misunderstanding.
While I do understand that because i’m a relationship phobe as well, it did get a bit annoying. Like ariel knows kayson for a bit now but took other peoples drunken words over what she knows about him and that got her in a big mess.
I also had a hard time understanding what was actually happening in the beginning. Lot of terminology where used without explanation. I didn’t know if it was police related or MC related. Maybe that’s what kept me from connecting with the story.
I did push through because I wanted to see how it turned out. I don’t often quit on a book so that kept me going.
Overall it was a bit predictable but not to bad.
I might give book two a chance because the author said it was her favourite.

It was a great book
Ariel Beaumont has recently lost her mother and decided to restart her life in Florida. Just months after her big move, shes attacked in a mall parking lot and officer Kayson Christakos just happens to be nearby and stops them from taking her. Something about Ariel stuck with Kayson for months, until he happens to see her out again. While Kayson is 100% invested Ariel has her reservations and after the way she grew up and her past relationships Ariel isn’t going to make it easy for Kayson.
I really loved this book. Ariel obviously has issues and Kayson is patient with her. She picks up a great bunch of friends and they are just hilarious together. Kayson’s family is the dream family we all hope to be a part of. Such a great series. Definitely on my re-read list.
A five star read which combines great friends with a hot hero. It truly captures true female friendship.
It was very entertaining! I want to read the others in the series!
Great book! I didn’t want to stop reading until I finished it.
Loved the characters and the story line and it kept my attention.
This book has it all. It won’t disappoint!!
I couldn’t put the book down, it was a little of everything. recommend reading.
I gave 4 stars because it took to long for the couple to get together not because of Kayson he was head over heals for Ariel, showed her in every way possible she was to stubborn to see it, I really couldn’t bring myself to like her, loved her friends and Kayson’s family but her no. Yes you’ve been hurt so has most people in the world but Kayson gave her no reason not to trust him, IMO she didn’t deserve a man like him. I have another book to read and I’m hoping it’s not as drawn out like this one.
Kept me in the edge of the bed my seat!! I couldn’t put it down. Had everything you could want, love, sexy Greek man with manners, girl power, and suspension!!! Love love love this book! It’s a must read
Loved this book, loved the characters and storyline
This book is fantastic. Was never slow or boring. Was hard to put down. Loved it.
