I’m a Hero. Created to fight Chaos. Sworn to act as Zeus’ spear to avenge Olympus. And I need to fight harder. When death comes for those I love, I fight. And despite the radiant love of Apollo and the swelling love of Poseidon, I must find room to embrace war. That means getting close to Ares. To win a war you need allies you can trust and who trust each other. Apollo, Poseidon, and Ares don’t … Apollo, Poseidon, and Ares don’t see eye to eye at the best of times. Throw my deepening love for each of them into the mix and it seems impossible. I need to convince all of them we’re on the same side, and war makes for strange bedfellows.
Then there’s Hades. He might be the key to our success, or the trigger for our doom. But he triggers the best and worst in me, and I can’t help but melt into his darkness.
Can a brooding vicious war god help me to fight this war across multiple fronts. Can the god of war even show love? Ares is Mine.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
I swear these books just keep getting better and better!! Elyse is really coming into her powers now though she is still training hard in an effort to beat X. Things are starting to work out with Ares this time around. Adding him to the group as a whole seems to bring on a power surge that might bring interesting things for the future. Overall an excellently written world full of Gods, magic, steam, and plenty of action. Perfect for fans of supernatural RH series. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
The 3rd book in the Gods and Minsters series, Ares is mine, i think is the best one yet! Elyse is still trying to figure out who is on her side and eho is standing in her way. With her mentor/friend Hercules distancing himself, Elyse has to learn to depend on her 4 Gods. X is more ruthless than ever, kidnapping Elyse’s bestfriend, everyone must put old grudges aside and come together to defeat X. I cant wait till the next book! I love it!
Ares
Well we’ve seen Elyse suffer some bad luck and fall down on her luck X is getting strong the guys are fighting by her side diligently but they aren’t make any difference they know that working together may be the way to go but it doesn’t help when technically Herecles isn’t supposed to help and Hades is running hot and cold all over the place. Elyse is also stronger as she’s had to use more of her lives. Apollo is missing from this book because Zeus has found out about him and Elyse and banished him back to Mount Olympus. The end is getting near the action is heating up and Elyse is showing that although she’s now with 3 gods they each have there own time. I’m so looking for to Hades book which is going to round out this amazing series.
Omg this series is not only addicted but it just keeps getting better and better. Elyse and her gods will try anything too defeat X. Elyse and Hades could be amazing but his past is crushing any hope they could have. I can’t wait to read what happens next especially how this book ended.
I absolutely love Elyse. She’s strong, determined, and powerful. The bond she has with her guys is incredible and the steams practically rolls off the pages. I have such a deep understanding of Hades and how his fear is holding him back. His emotions are so real, I love how humanized he is. Zeus on the other hand is an a-hole. I know he probably has a purpose for what he does but I don’t have to like it! Here’s hoping everything works out in Hades is mine.
This is the third book in the Gods and Monsters series and we get to see more of Ares in this book. This series just keeps getting better and better with each book and the action around the enemy keeps the drama, suspense, passion and romance between the gods and Elyse. I love the conflict in emotions that Hades has for Elyse and everything that revolves around him. I can not wait to see what is in store for the next book!
Holy Ares, at first I thought he was kind of selfish but this one changed my opinion of him. Eylse is fighting to get her best friend back and defeat X. Along with 3 of the other gods, they must travel to Hades domain to achieve their goal. When Hades makes an appearance at the last moment to save them all at least for now. I can’t wait for Hades is Mine to find out how it all comes together especially after that ending with Apollo, that was a little heart breaking and I need to know what is going to happen now!
What can I say that others here haven’t already? If you like stories with emotional depth, plenty of danger and action, throw in the steam of reverse harem, add in that there are gods and goddesses with foibles all their own, the main character struggling to find her place in both worlds , and you’ve got quite the tale. I highly recommend not only this novel, but the series. So looking forward to book four!
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is an amazing read. I couldn’t put it down!
“We just hope that what you came for is what you find”
More adventures. More obstacles. More passion. More heart break. More cliffhangers.
Another great instalment in the Gods and Monsters series. Once I started I could not stop, and I didn’t really want to stop. There is so much to love, but right now I have a love/hate relationship with Mila Young who dared to give us the ending in Ares is Mine.
I love the various personalities we find in each of our characters (especially our Gods who could be seen bleeding into one another) but Mila Young has given them seperate personas. Each living slightly into their stereotypes, but becoming so much more.
I’m interested to see the development of Hades’ character, and his relationships not only with Elyse, but also the other Gods whose bridges are currently unstable. I’ll be waiting on bated breath for Hades is Mine.
** I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author for review consideration **
Incredible story…Elyse is put through some very trying times when someone is kidnapped, someone else dies and she finds herself falling in love more and more with her handsome Gods. Hades is hot and cold. Ares shows a different side of himself. Poseidon and Apollo are right where she needs them. Steam 9/10 * Sweet 10/10 * Alt 1st POV * RH * Cliffhanger
Elyse is back, and she’s even more badass than usual. Because of that and a couple of other things, this latest installment in the Gods and Monsters series is probably the best one yet. Poseidon, Ares, Apollo, and Elyse are still on the hunt for X, but this time he does something that strikes a little too close to home for poor Elyse. The only thing I wished for was a little more focus on Ares as that was who the book was supposed to be about. However, that really wasn’t an issue as there is enough hotness to go around. Speaking of that, the romance/hotness is increased in this one, so be prepared! I really like the MC better than I ever have before. She’s reached a maturity she was lacking in the first books. If you liked the first books in this series, you will definitely enjoy this one. If you love the reverse harem genre, you need to try this one: great characters, hot romance, and interesting plot. I do recommend this one and was provided the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.
OMG this was amazing, I loved it! This series just gets better and better, if you haven’t started this series yet you definitely should start it now!
Ares is Mine has everything you want in a captivating read. With fantastic world building, brilliant strong characters that you fall in love with, Hades is my favourite (who doesn’t love an alpha ahole). There is also plenty of action both with Elyse and her guys and also the enemy “X”, lots of angst, drama, passion, love and hot steamy goodness.
Elyse, Apollo, Poseidon, Ares and Hades are all slowly becoming more trusting of each other and starting to realise that there is more to everyone than what they think if only they look a little deeper.
Ahhhhh that ending, I really wanted to throw my kindle but at the same time it was a perfect way to leave us hanging (I both love and hate cliffhangers). I am now dying to find out what happens next in Hades is Mine.
