It’s just a given with this author…If a book comes out and it has her name on it I read it…There’s no question about it, I don’t care what its about I know I’ll love it. She does however have a way of making me swear and scream and throw fits when I finish her books…I’m still not at all over finishing another book she ended with me totally losing it, and then this one….No cliffhanger for this book, I thought ok we are gonna get through this one without calling her any creative names…Well then I read about half way into the epilogue and then the sneak peak for the next book!!! Why does she do this to me??? Now I’m waiting for 2 books and I can’t even tell you which one I want more.
Just like this series I can not pick a favorite, every one of them are so so awesome. I was waiting for this story and I was absolutely not disappointed. It was fast paced yet not so fast it felt like I was confused, it flowed perfectly as normal and was full of all kinds of twists and turns and danger and hot scenes and just perfection. Might just be one of my favorite endings of all time.
This author is amazing…I love this series and I cant wait till I have them all, although I never want it to end I am looking forward to taking a weekend and rereading them all from start to finish.
You can absolutely read this as a stand alone..But dont…trust me there is so much goodness in the entire series and these characters are constants throughout, you’d be missing so much history!
Loved it and will be waiting…
Brilliant!!
Arctic Fire just became one of my favorite books by Ms. Wade, and one of the best books in the Fortis Security series. Kanan and Roz are a delightful couple that charmed me from the very beginning. Roz, a woman whose horrendous past taught her to build iced walls to preserve her self worth, is faced with the love of a wonderful man whose patience love pushed her walls to crumble as well as all that she knows to maintain composure. Kanan, a man tired of war, full of regrets, weary of being rejected by the woman who owned his heart and future, is faced with the choice to accept defeat or to fight for a happy ending that seems unreachable. Roz and Kanan will get together in their last mission which outcome could lead to their destruction or to a well deserved happy ever after. Arctic Fire is a nonstop action packed story with a love that will melt ice.
Loved the book mostly because Roz is such a kick ass heroine that when she get to see the other side you truly feel horrible for the injustices she suffered through her life. Al though each book could be read as a stand alone for romantic notions. They are inter connected, such as the divine watcher plot line and then character build up along the way. I really feel like you need to read zin and Celeste book before you touch roz’s book. Because you get a lot of back ground info about their life and what happened to them to set the ground work for why she is the way she is. Loved kanan. He was so much more than you hoped for. After meeting him earlier in the series and turning his life around relating to Noah’s kidnapping that he was forced to to. He is swoon worthy. He is always willing to be there for Roz no matter what. But you also want to hate her at some points in the book for how cruel she can be and how she pushed him away. She was insulating her self as protection from hurt and pain of loss. Which is understandable after everything she suffered through. Loved that he still tried but did come to a point where he had to protect himself from hurt and walk away. Showed emotional strength and recognition that not all things we want and love are good for us. Loved that they got their HEA. and can’t wait for more. Looking forward to drew’s book and then Meg and Daniels. Book. He deserves so much after the loss he had. What a cliffie. But I think honestly. Between sky, Lucy and Meg, hoping that at least both Lucy and skye have positive news haha
Oh my word, this is so good! A lot tormented and slightly angsty but still with all the excitement and suspense that I expect with this series, fabulous characters who break your heart before they finally have “The Moment”. Still some intrigue and edge of your seat sections that just had me flicking the pages with glee. I am loving the series and each book so much I just don’t want to put them down so life can just go away till I’m done with them all …
Another great read
Please read all 8 of the Fortis series

So much more
I am a fan of Maddie Wade’s Fortis series and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the sixth installment with Roz and Kanaan. I loved how the author introduced them prior in the series and couldn’t wait to discover their happily ever after. Roz is rough around the edges, but the most we discover her, the more we understand why. Kanaan is a lone wolf who can’t get her out of his head! As they find each other, the intrigue is full of action and danger, making you breathless for what happens next!!! A definite page-turner.
Kanan and Roz are perfect for each other. Roz is a bad a$$ who is hiding a very tragic and painful childhood. Kanan is a bad a$$ who loves her. This one is action packed and fast paced. I love this series!
Arctic Fire is an action packed romance by Maddie Wade and the sixth book in the Fortis Security series, but it can be read as a stand alone. This book hooked me from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down. Roz is an amazing character, she is strong, capable and the chemistry between her and Kanan is off the charts! This story was well written, there was great character development, the story flowed well and was full of action and suspense and even though I haven’t read the other books in the series I was able to keep up with the side characters and catch on to their stories. I will definitely be reading books 1-5 and any other titles by Maddie Wade!
Arctic Fire (Fortis Security Book 6)
By Maddie Wade
5 Star
Arctic Fire by Maddie Wade is the sixth installment of the Fortis Security Series. This story is a romance/suspense book and it is the story of Roz and Kanan. Roz is the leader of an assassin group. She is strong and intelligent, and will not let anyone into her life. Kanan has history with Roz and he is quickly falling for her. Both have an extreme chemistry that Roz tries to hide although it is undeniable. Can Roz trust Kanan with her heart and her life? This is the second book I have read in this series and I looking forward to reading more from this series. Maddie Wade writes a seamless storyline that sucks you in from the beginning and will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end Actions, suspense and danger all set the scene but romance always prevails. I highly recommend this series.
This is the sixth book in a series and I think it is super important to read all of the books in order. There are lots of characters, relationships and situations that are talked about and without the background, I think it will feel like starting in the middle of long movie.
This action adventure is pretty quick moving and as each story in the past, has a surprising little twist.
The heroine is a kick a$$ super hero type of woman with wicked issues from her past. There were absolutely times I just wanted to tell her to move on (realizing this is fiction, I would never do that IRL).
All of the characters have very unique personality traits and once they are introduced, you can see what role they play in the series. The writing is strong and while there may be background information missing, it was an enjoyable read.
Arctic Fire is book six in the Fortis Security series by Maddie Wade. There was never ending reading entertainment and I can honestly say this series gets better the more books that are released.
Roz, Kanan and the varied collection of secondary characters provided me with endless frantic and anxious moments. They provided me with a constant supply of drama so realistic, I felt like I was a character of this story. Being a leader of female assassins is awe inspiring, and the way the author spins the tale, makes me want to sign up!! A masterful way with words, Maddie Wade gives the ultimate in reading pleasure, each and every time. These books just keep getting better. 5 stars.
This can be read as a standalone but i highly recommend reading the previous books so you can get a better understanding and get to know the characters more. Well i tell you something the series just keeps getting better i honestly loved every second was hooked. The story will meep you on your toes all the way through and your eyes will be glued to the pages and certainly not left disappointed. An amazing journey your taken on while reading this novel it will toy with your emotions but leave you wanting more.
Arctic Fire is the third book in this series that I’ve read, and now I’m starting to really understand the flow of the group and all the connections. Roz seems like a tough cookie who won’t let anyone close and doesn’t want love or family. Kanan keeps pushin though. He knows in his heart the love they have and how strong it is.
Of course even bigger than the love story is the action. These groups take on big bad guys, there are ongoing threats alongside new ones. I am so into all of it now. And I’m super pumped for the next book. It’s fast paced, interesting, and totally different from anything else I’ve been reading.
Arctic Fire-Maddie Wade
4-star review
Arctic Fire by Maddie Wade is the 6th book in the Fortis Security series, it also happens to be my favorite of the series so far. Book 6 follows Roz and K as their very emotional relationship continues to develop. This storyline had me feeling all kinds of emotions, from awe, sadness, frustration, hurt and peace. All of the incredible detail made it feel as if though I was right there with the characters along for the ride. It was a well-rounded story with non-stop action that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Just like every book by Maddie Wade that I’ve read I jumped right into this book and ended up reading it in one sitting. This storyline is intense, dark, detailed and so suspenseful that it had me sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I would suggest reading this series in order as the storyline is so complex that it’s best read from the beginning to better understand everything that’s going on. I would definitely recommend this book to others and I look forward to reading more from Maddie Wade in the future!
Well, Maddie Wade, you hit it out the park with this one. I have not read all the other novels in this series yet, but of the few I have, this is my favorite so far! The Fortis Security has been a great read so far, each book can be read as a standalone from what I have gathered, but I am reading them all one way or another, so I recommend the series. Everything from action adventure, to romance is packed between these pages.
Roz Malavoi is a strong willed woman with a mission. She views life as a mission in itself too. Someone who has faced the things she has, and turned it around into positive and promising future. That is, until her past comes back to haunt her and puts someone dear to her in grave danger. She makes this her main focus. Will she be able to face this newest mission?
Kanan, or better referred to as “K”, has a history with Roz, a bit of unfinished business between the two if you will. Things get really interesting when the two find themselves forced back together. Can they come out friends? Maybe more? How does Kanan tie into the past that is catching up to her?
This was a great read to consume in one afternoon. I could see an avid reader like myself reading most of the books in this particular series fairly quickly, so one might one-click the whole series? If you have already, be sure to check one of Maddie Wade’s other novels available. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed you did!
Arctic Fire Fortis Security –Book 5 Author: written by Maddie Wade

“…he was her safety and her biggest threat. He terrified her and yet she craved him”
When you see Maddie’s name you one-click. No need to read the synopsis you know you won’t be disappointed. At one point I thought this story was going to go in a direction that I normally would not read and being that Maddie wrote the words there was no way I’d walk away from the book. Her words, creativity, stories always take you to a new level that you didn’t think existed.
“I’m going to spoil you for any other man…
He didn’t realise that he had spoiled her for other men decades ago.”
This book is filled with friendship, family, loyalty, fear, sadness, protective, alpha, determined, strong willed men and woman. They love, protect and fight with passion. You want to be on their side…
“You always play games and it always seems to be at my expense.”

I loved this story! I could hardly put this down. There was action right at the beginning and it didn’t let up. There is also the developing relationship between Roz and Kanan. I have been intrigued by Roz in the past few books so I was curious about how her story would end. Kanan seems to be a light hearted guy and met his one many years ago. How long should a man try to convince a woman that they belong together before he gives up?
Roz is difficult. She is the leader of an assassin group and many people fear her. She has had a horrible upbringing and built walls around her self and heart to prevent any more damage being done. She isn’t easy on anyone and has a smart mouth with dangerous skills to back it up. She only trusts her brother Viper/Zin everyone else is suspect. Well….and Kanan she trust him too. Roz does a lot of growing in this book. I commend her for looking at her flaws and using them to make her better. I enjoyed her conversations with Zin and Ava and Kanan Very enlightening!
I loved reading about Zin and Celeste in the last book. They are even better in this one. What a treat to see how they are doing! It helps that Celeste is Kanan’s sister and Zin and Roz are brother and sister too. The relationship between the siblings and their respective “other” is so much fun to read sometimes. You can easily see they respect, laugh, enjoy and trust each other.
Very enjoyable!
The last couple books in this series have not been favorites of mine for reasons written in my reviews of them. So i wasn’t sure i wanted to read this one. I did want to because of Roz and Kanan. I finally gave in to temptations and I’m glad i did. This one the author changed up a few things and it made this book better. In fact i loved it! It’s easier to read and follow the storyline. More smooth as well. So kudos to her for making this book. Color me Impressed!
I also see a sneak peek at the end! I am looking forward to that story as well.
