Archer-I am the master marksman at the Wings of Diablo MC Club. Any target my brothers need me to take down, I will. I am a magician with a fire arm no matter the class, from the small and simple Glock 36 to the powerful .44 Magnum, the big bad shotgun to the sleek and sexy M2010. I have been known to be stoic and calculated. To lay above the rest and smile as each bullet sailed through my … target. Once you were in my sights, you go down for the long nap. I used to believe that my fate was sealed by the bullet and my gun, come to find out my life would be turned on its head by Daria. A woman in the wrong place at the wrong time. A woman who is seared into my soul.
Daria-
My whole life I stayed to myself, never wanted to get anyone upset or be a burden to those around me. So when my roommates strong arm me into going to a party at the Rolling Cobras MC Club house I try to stay as far away from the action as possible. Not that it did me any good, my favorite shirt was ruined, I got hit on by a man missing his two front teeth, oh and I got shot in the chest. Talk about a party. There was one good thing that came from that horrible experience, the hospital set up a trauma counselor, Archer. There is something about his haunted eyes that makes me believe that I can trust again. No one makes my pulse race like he does, makes my body surrender like he does. Even with secrets all around him I have no choice but to submit to him.

With things going wrong on a job Archer blames himself, he was the one who took the shot that harmed the girl, as well as killing his mark. Seeing the beautiful woman fall, send him back into flashbacks from his time in the military, although there was nothing he could do then, he’s determined to find the girls and make sure she’s ok.
Daria wakes to see a man in a Cobra vest making sure she didn’t remember anything he wouldn’t want any bad men showing up because she snitched on them. Waking from a dream the doctor lets her know she may be suffering from PTSD and can have someone come and talk to her.
Archer knows it’s a bad idea to see Daria, when he realises, she knows he’s there he has no choice but to go into her room, when she thinks he part of the PTSD group he doesn’t deny it. The more time he spends with Daria the more he thinks about her submitting to him, the more he feels like he’s not a failure, but she doesn’t know who is really is. When his Prez shows up at the hospital Daria panicked seeing his Kutte, he lets the Prez know she’s his redemption, but the Prez tells him he needs to be all the way in if not he needs his Kutte.
Although it’s killing him not to tell Daria he’s part of a club, the worst part is she trusts him. With the danger to both the club and threats towards Daria he knows he has to tell her, but how will she react knowing he’s part of what got her shot and caused her PTSD.
This book will pull at your heart. Archer suffering from his past is so heartbreaking. He lives for the club but he finds strength though a shy and a bit naïve Daria. This book is too filled with grit, anguish, violence and drama. Another great read by Ms. Lake!!!
All of these stories from Rae are a hit. She has a certain perfection to her stories. Archer is just as good as the rest of the ones I read from her. Here’s why: it pulls at your heartstrings. It’s dark, not too dark, but sweet. Archer has a traumatic past due to serving and he needs help to feel better. Daria is his salvation, redemption, and strength. But will they recover after she finds out what he did?
I love Archer and Daria. This story was fast-paced and easy to read. Characters were well-developed. Definitely recommend this book and this series.
.
Loved this couple from the start! Archer or his good heart and badass attitude, knowing what he wants and fighting for it. Daria, conflicted about her feelings yet willing to see we’re things will go. Another great in the Wings of Diablo series.
Wow though it took me a few chapters to get into the story once there i couldn’t stop and didn’t want to.
Archer can’t believe what he did the guilt eats at him so he needs to fix it but will the lies he tells Daria come back to bight him on the ass?
Daria can’t believe what happened to her and now hoping to get past it all with the help from Archer but what is he hiding from her and when and if she finds out will she be able to stay or let her heart break.
Loving this series.
Wow! I really enjoyed this book. I did not want to put it down. I loved the characters! The chemistry between Daria and Archer, was off the charts! I loved how the storyline showed not just their strengths but the vulnerability. A must have read! Can not wait for the next book!
Archer: A Wings of Diablo MC Novel
Rae B. Lake
Wow this novel really was amazing
Archer wow getting to see what happened past history to wear he is currently was heartfelt.
Daria was introduced in the story great
It was nice to see how these two evolve in the story
This author has a great ability to connect to readers I love it!!
Archer and Daria they are an instant pair her natural submissive disposition calls to the Dominant Male that is the essence of his being. Archer is the Sniper of the Wings, never misses a target and with that comes the burden of mistakes and innocent bystanders that are an avoidable situation at times. Archer already haunted by a mistake in the past not because he missed but because he nailed the target as ordered. All this would shape his response to what happens next. Daria is a computer wiz that is very antisocial and closed off shaped by her upbringing with an addicted mother and in a sense she is trapped by her need to please everyone even if it causes her discomfort… Daria meets Archer because of what he is and she loves him for what he allows her to be. The standout realization for me was that Archer chastises Daria for her self -deprecation when he himself consistently does the same thing which is a precarious balance for a male who is an Expert Dom. I personally wanted some more of the story fleshed out but over all this is a good read and I would recommend it.
So much to love about Archer and Daria!!!
Holy I am loving this new author I have found, and her MC books! Archer and Daria could not of been more different, she was the shy homebody, naive girl, he was the army marksman, and an alpha Mc member. But holy these two definitely work together, and the way she opens up with him, these two are exactly what each other needed.
Archer was a great story! I liked how it touched on the effects of PTSD which is so much more common than most people realize. It seems that Archer and Daria were each other’s healing even after everything blew up in their faces. This series is good and gaining momentum!
Ex-military Archer and Daria are both dealing with past issues that bring about PTSD. When tragic circumstances throw them together, his dominant side fights to take over her submissive nature. Their story is filled with anguish, grit, super hot heat and more. Looking forward to book three.
I was absolutely engrossed in this wonderfully written MC story from the very beginning! The plot was great and flowed effortlessly from page to page and the characters were well detailed! The dynamic and chemistry between Daria and Archer, not to mention their vulnerability, kept me turning the pages until the very last page!
First I’ve read in this series. Plenty of action, death, blood and no end in site. The women they accidentally run into are their salvation. They are at war and may never be out of it. Whether it’s other MC clubs or cartel, it’s never ending. Each story is unique but the same. This is just the beginning. (less) [edit]
This was a fast paced, thrilling, intriguing, and suspenseful ride to go on. Archer and Daria are perfect for one another, their instant connection and undeniable chemistry was palpable. Their journey was not roses and sunshine, it was a little dark and gritty but their destination was definitely beautiful. I absolutely enjoyed every single moment of this story.
You definitely don’t want to be in Archer aim of fire. He’s haunted by his memories of combat. He thought he’s worse nightmare came true again. He thought he killed an innocent. Daria was at the wrong place at the wrong time. The both helped heal each other. Another war is brewing. I can’t wait to read more of this series.
I really enjoyed this book. It could have been a 5 star, but there were just too many typo errors. Please get a beta group or and arc group, hey contact me and I’ll read it for errors if you’re not going to have it professionally edited. This had a great storyline and you couldn’t help but root for this couple. I’m loving this series and will definitely read the next one.
Archer is an expert marksman and MC member who suffers from regret over things beyond his control. Is history about to repeat itself? Can he withstand the burn of yet another regret? I enjoyed this book, my first read from this author, and it was an engaging read. There were some parts that dragged and could’ve been shortened to get to the point, but overall it had my attention, and I liked the characters. Daria was a bit too clueless, but she was a sweet girl who just needed someone to push her past her limits. The sex was a slow burn romance, and I was craving a little more action sooner, but I do prefer to have more scenes
I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t help feel all the emotions evoked by this book.
I loved Archer and Daria, they had a very different dynamic love story.
I can’t wait to see what happens next.
