When Chaos reigns, April Fool’s is no joke. April Vincent knows she’s Bloodline, but has yet to learn what it means. All she knows is her glassblowing skills are more on point than they’ve ever been. It’s as if the fire itself obeys her every whim. But on April 1st, the universe turns her world upside-down. First, her gambling-addicted father shows up out of the blue, on the run from an angry … blue, on the run from an angry casino owner. Then all her new projects begin to systematically break before completion.
When sexy dragon shifter Gray Verro wanders into April’s gallery, his presence is the first taste of calm she’s had in days.
For Gray, the beautiful artist embodies everything he desires in a mate, but despite being a former bodyguard, Gray is barely enough to protect her from the otherworldly thugs hunting her. Hell, he may not be enough for her, period.
Forced into hiding with Chaos at their heels, April’s dragon guardian has no choice but to call in his five closest friends and fellow bodyguards for help. The six are tasked with protecting her against an enemy they all know well enough to fear, but for April, the presence of six enticing shifters begins to awaken dormant powers, and along with them desires far too powerful to deny.
Warning: This book is a fast-burn HOT and steamy RH odyssey, with some M/M content, not meant for the faint of heart (or libido)… #whychoose!

This was a good story. The storyline was interesting and exciting. You get action and adventure with magic and mayhem. This was a good addition to the series.
April’s Fools
Awesome read! Once again Ms. Bell wove a story that snagged your attention and never let it go until the final page. April and her “fools” were hot together….three dragons and three bears create a lot of heat after all!!

3.5 Stars
This was a quick, fun read. The story was good and had a good flow. The character work was great. I will say that I wish I would have read the previous books in the series prior to reading this one just to get the entire picture of everything that has happened and the ongoing characters. There were some spelling and grammatical errors, but none that were too distracting.

Fast paced, steamy story. Fool of twists, turns, mysteries and sexy men. April is such a perfect character, you can only love her. Her art is as unique as her. It was story of still having hope even if there seems not being any anymore. And be ready for very very hot scenes. It’s perfect addition to this wonderful series. Read it.. read all of it, you will for sure not regret it.
April is bloodline but she doesn’t understand what that means to her. April is a glass blower and artist extraordinaire until April 1 when her world comes crashing down. Her gambler father shows up with casino thugs on his tail. All her work starts to fail before it can be completed. The thugs aren’t really looking for dad but for her.
The former guardians of Aella (three dragons and three Ursa) who are now out of work since she has mated the Winds are at a loss as to what to do. They decide to separate to look for their own mates. When one happens to pass the gallery where April’s work is displayed he he drawn in by the fact that the work radiates power. Things transpire and she has to go into hiding with these men acting as her guardians.
Just who is the casino owner that wants her and why? What is her bloodline and why would it draw these six men to protect her and even possibly be her mates? This is a very hot book and a very good reverse harem setup. Ms. Bell has created a world that draws you in and makes you wonder “just where can I find one of these men for myself?” Another great addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next one.

I immediately fell back into this world and did not want to leave. I absolutely loved the teaser at the end and cannot wait for that story as well. I laughed, cried and was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book with the action and love. I loved the twist with the mom and never even saw it coming.

Six hot and sexy men for one artsy lady? Yes please.
As always, a well written, well developed story that is hard to put down, once you start reading. Just the regular guy and unt of Hot and heavy, mixed with a complex story line. Paranormal at its best.
I absolutely loved this book. The discoveries and revelations that come to April are unfathomable to her, at first. I thoroughly enjoyed the smack down put on Chase. I’m looking for a convergence of water and air story in the future. This series is fantastic.
A great new addition to the others in the series. April is coming into her own. But suddenly she’s not herself. Grey is a dragon and bodyguard but what’s coming he might not be enough. Will April survive? Will The dragons be enough to protect her? Awesome characters and storyline.

This is the 4th book I’ve read written by Ophelia Bell; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Another amazing book in the fates fools series. I absolutely love April, she’s an amazing artist, but unfortunately has a father that can’t seem to stay out of trouble but this time he brings trouble to her. The guys are panty melting hot, dragon shifters, and bodyguards, what could be hotter than that. I love how even though this book is part of a series, it has its own flavor or flow which definitely sweeps you off your feet and pulls you into the book. I love this book and definitely recommend it to everyone.
This is the 8th book in Fat’s Fool’s series.
Each book is a standalone.
This is April’s and Gray’s story.
If you have read any books in this series you know
The characters are a dragon which is Gray and April is bloodline
The plot is set around all the drama suspense twists and turns
There journey takes them on before they get there happy ever or do they.
There’s also plenty of steam between them.

Absolutely love that the author still manages to surprise me even with this been book #8 of the series. That said, although this book can be read as a standalone and does have its own HEA, I do recommend that the books be read from book #1 in order to totally grasp the story as well as get the full impact of all the twists and turns as they happen.
I knew that April (heroine) had to be one strong woman to be able to handle 6 men – 3 dragons and 3 ursa (bears) but was not expecting things the way they turned out. The heroes have made their appearance in the series before (as singer, Aella’s bodyguards) and once Chaos sets his sights on April, they will need every bit of their training to keep her safe.
If it is something with heat you are after, this book (as with the entire series) will not disappoint. It is a fast burn, erotic, paranormal RH romance that will have you panting from beginning to end. However, the heat level does not take away the fact that the book it well written. So much so that when the author writes about April’s art (no spoiler here – you will know exactly what I am talking about when you get to that point in the book), I so badly wanted to see it in real life.
Sometimes I may lose interest when waiting for the next book in a series, especially if the last book had a HEA but this book, this series, is worth every single days wait. Is it too soon to start counting down the days for the next book?
I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion/review.
This author has once again done the seemingly impossible, she has added another awesome book to her Fate’s Fools series. It is a well written and very involving book. Right from the start until the last page I felt like I was there right alongside the characters as they experienced the highs of meeting their fated mates to the challenges that they faced in order to achieve true harmony in their daily lives. This journey is fraught with ups/downs, twists/turns, mystery and a love that transcends many boundaries in life. A truly remarkable book to add to your library. Although I would recommend that you read the whole series from the start in order to get a more enriched sense of the story.
Meet April, who feels like her life is out of her control while preparing for an exhibit featuring her mixed media creations.
Everything, literally starts to fall apart until she meets Gray!
Together, they work to find out what is happening while discovering the mysteries of who she is and what she needs.
A fascinating adventure that is not to be missed.

April’s life changes dramatically when Chaos comes to call. She is lucky that six men are determined to keep her safe and very happy.
I have read all the books in the series. The last several have taken a turn from the earlier books and focus on a different Bloodline female discovering her true nature and meeting her mates.
April had a basic understanding that she was different and a member of the Bloodline. She had no real idea of her true nature and why it makes her so special. Meeting Gray introduces her to this new life and five other members of the Bloodline that will become so important to her.
The connection among the six men is already very strong. They were willing to part to find their female mate. She feels the attraction to them all immediately. The author jumps right into exploring that connection.
I highly recommend reading the whole series if you enjoy reverse harems. Be prepared for plenty of heat.

Wonderful Story!! Wow!! This story is fantastic, and I really enjoyed reading it. The plot line was really interesting in that it’s about April, a glassblower and artist who unbeknownst to her is infusing magical properties into her work. The introduction of the sexy dragon, Gray, along with his fellow “unemployed” guardian dragons and bears, into the picture will leave you breathless. There’s lots of great surprises and mystery that will keep you guessing as to the outcome of the situations in the story…and for me, I especially was intrigued by the ending of the story as I am now thinking “uh-oh”…what’s in store for everyone in the upcoming books!! I highly recommend this series to all lovers of hot paranormal romance stories…and especially anything written by Ophelia Bell. I received a free review copy of this book via Booksprout (and subsequently purchased it to add as a permanent part of my library) and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another great book in this series. Another bloodline member learns how powerful she is and how many it takes to keep her balanced between her two sides. Adventure, danger, romance and steam. A fun read that didn’t last nearly long enough for me! Looking forward to more.

Caution! If you aren’t ready for panty melting, seat wetting steamy scenes then this is not for you! If you are daring and live hot scene after hot scene then you’ll adore this book and this series. I couldn’t quit reading April’s story and I’d be happy to read it all over again! Ophelia is amazing and her characters are so well developed and awesome. I’ll be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one.
