The Apocalypse isn’t the end… of the puzzle is there, the one I’ve been seeking.
Hopefully adding the twelfth won’t tear apart the carefully built relationships I have with each of the eleven.
But sometimes hope is lost and betrayal comes from the last place you would expect.
Apocalypse: The Betrayal is a fantasy romance with magic, dragons, demons, angels and one headstrong heroine who has to not only save the world but navigate her way through multiple relationships.

Aviella now has eleven powerful men, connected, intertwined, brought together by Fate and all sworn to stand by her side to fight the Shadow. Yet the Shadow still seems to be winning. As the train pulls out, Rafe, Silas, Nate, and Efram close around Aviella, tears streaming down her face, to block her view out the windows where people are screaming and trying desperately to escape. She feels responsible for their deaths and doubts whether she made the right decision. She is overwhelmed in grief, pushes the guys away, and runs to an empty compartment to find some solitude. Sitting on the floor and up against the door, the pain fills her and her magic reacts to the emotional stress. Lightning strike around her as her rage builds and she seeks a target. Then her dad’s voice tells her to fight against this, that she is being manipulated. His voice is cut off mid-sentence, and she collapses to the floor.
Efram comes in to console her, telling her she does not have to be strong and do it all. Yet she knows her power alone is the only thing that can stop the Shadow Forces. Just by the way they’re coming after her now leaves no doubt about that. She is starting to think that all the good people were taken away at the start of all this. Those remaining are the fanatics. Everyone left, in the bunkers and in the world, is more obsessed with what they want or think they need than they are with being decent to each other. And that is what they are fighting now. It’s the few who are not that way, the good ones, who make the fight worth fighting.
Alone again in the train car, Aveilla whispers to the Shadow, “I don’t know who you are, yet, but I will find you, I will kill you — this world isn’t yours for much longer.” Although she still hears faint laughter in her mind, it now quavers a little, and Aveilla knows with certainty that the enemy is finally scared!
This is such a powerful, emotional story line that pulls the reader in and just won’t let go. Aveilla’s pain, guilt, and suffering are all-consuming and her guys, most notably Efram, are offering her all they can to support her emotionally. She still has not found her father, and still is not sure she is strong enough to do what must be done. Things will get worth as they travel to New Jerusalem. The fanatics are stirred up by evil and this is where Aviella must gather her strength and give everything she has to find victory. Grab your copy and don’t miss this one as we find out if there is any hope left . . .
