Aviella has eleven men by her side now her in her quest now, but she still needs one more to make the circle complete and strong enough to face what is coming. Witches, Horsemen of the Apocalypse, dragons and Aviella’s own magic. Will it be enough to overcome the odds?
I love this story. There is so much suspense, danger, anger, hurt, lust, love, drama, and Aviella is the center of all that stands between good and evil. She and her eleven powerful men to help her beat the Shadow. They now have to leave another bunker that the dragons had control of. They were betrayed and now no one is safe in that bunker. It’s almost time to draw the line. The fight is almost here. Will Aviella be ready to take the right path?? Will the Shadow finally win? I can’t wait until the next book. Aviella now has eleven powerful men, connected, intertwined, brought together by Fate and all sworn to stand by her side to fight the Shadow. And yet she knows it is still not enough to win. The number is supposed to be twelve, but who could the last member be? The Horsemen of the Apocalypse have told her she is special, that the fate of the world is in her hands. So to continue to deny it is stupid. But what should she do now? Her magic buzzes in her blood, but she still doesn’t know what to do about it! They have now retreated to make new plans with Tynan, Dragon Horseman of the Apocalypse and ruler of this bunker. She is so frustrated that she is supposed to be the savior of the world, yet she’s sitting around feeling like she is doing nothing. And above everything, she wants to find her dad who is still out there somewhere.
Efram came to Aviella’s room to talk. He said he had visited the Coven, a group of witches operating in the Bunker underground, sort of like the resistance. They don’t trust the dragons, and he was surprised when she didn’t echo that thought. She told him when the seal broke, she shared a telepathic connection with the three dragons and knew they were not happy with their current role. There is a stir in the crowd, Alaric and Shen, another two of the Dragon Horsemen appear on the promenade, and Silas whispers to Aviella, “Bunker Two has fallen.” And still, they are forced to wait . . .
The excitement continues in Book 3 of this well-written story. The reader learns along with Aviella about her new powers which she still doesn’t understand. She is getting more and more restless, desperate to find her father. Waiting is the hardest part. Grab your copy and move through the next level of the battle to see who will survive!
This book is entertaining, action packed and thoroughly enjoyable. The chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
