A quick sexy and oh so sweet novella that had me smiling good and wide. This is a bite sized story that had lots of fabulous moments with a sprinkling of giggle worthy ones thrown in the mix. It was sassy, sweet, cute and perfect for summer time or weddings coming around.
I so enjoyed the way this book was written. The characters really sparked my interest and the plot fit beautifully. I could see myself quickly becoming obsessed with Christina Elle’s writing. Looking forward to seeing what else she has in store for us in the future.
Anywhere With You gets a TOO CUTE FOR WORDS FOUR AND A HALF SHINY STARS!
Anywhere With You was a really cute and and easy to read story. It is the first I have read from Christina but won’t be the last. The story follows Teegan, the last single girl in a crowd of soroirity sisters and Wes, the bride to be’s ex who is out for revenge. Teegan is the mousy quiet shy girl who is sick of going to all her friends’ weddings alone, but has never found that special someone. Wes, is Teegan’s best friends brother and, you guessed it, Teegan’s childhood crush. If it weren’t for her best friends no friends dating my brother rule, Teegan would have hopped on that train a long time ago.
Wes is the jilted lover. After being left by the bride to be after a football injury that left him possibly unable to continue playing pro ball, Wes is out for blood and will use whatever he has at his disposal to make Juliet pay for jilting him and running to his teammate.
Wes makes a plan and asks Teegan to pretend to be his girlfriend for the wedding, which is held over several days. Teegan goes with it and things heat up. With the knowledge this may be all she gets from Wes, she dives in head first and takes Wes along for the ride.
Teegan was cute and quirky if painfully shy and awkward. She was equally endearing and pitiful. I’m kind of on the fence about liking her because from the start she was a ball of neuroses and vulnerability with sparks of strength and determination. There were far more moments where her character was likable than there were with Wes though.
From the very beginning Wes didn’t have a ton of redeemable actions. He was tolerable throughout the story and marginally likable, but not enough for me to not want to constantly roll my eyes in disgust at his motivations and obsession with Juliet. Not enough of his supposed goodness was talked about or shown so I’m left to guess that at one point he was a great guy. All we really have to go on is that he saved dances for the shy, sweet Teegan at various dances they were both attending. Not exactly a ringing endorsement, you know? SPOILER ALERT UNTIL THE END OF THE PARAGRAPH…SKIP AHEAD IF YOU SO CHOOSE. And what is it with men in these stories that have to kiss their ex or get some kind of physical with them to determine that they’re over them? Why can’t they be honest with themselves and use their heads and hearts? Seriously getting burned out on these types of men’s actions in moments like these.
Misty’s hovering during Wes’ attempts to make amends made his groveling and their reconciliation seem rushed and insufficient for the hurtful things that were said. He really was a huge jerk and the things he said about his motivations concerning Juliet as well as why he even came with Teegan were awful. It was going to take a lot to come back from that and Misty’s orchestration up to this point to get Teegan to listen were helpful, but completely detracted from and truncated a whole lot of the things he could have and should have said to prove that a “forgive and move forward” was justified.
There was a majorly unsatisfying conclusion regarding Juliet. The parting thoughts from her via Wes were out of character and felt like a way to quickly take care of her loose end. I mean, look at what she did to Wes. Not to mention her described character traits that haven’t really changed since college.
As a side note, the scene when Wes came to his sister to find Teegan and to gain her advice for how to fix things was off-putting and detracted from the flow of the story’s falling action and dénouement. Her sexual stuff when Wes went to her room was probably added to relieve some of the tension and lingering hurt Wes caused during his epic screw-up but came off as awkward and unnecessary. She didn’t have to describe what she wanted her husband to do in such detail from the entryway while standing with Wes. Her husband was worried about his reaction to the face paint and instead of saying something like, “I’ll be right there, then you can eat me like the good zombie you are,” she went into detail about the scenario she wanted and that tipped things into creepy, not because of their kink, but because the timing and audience wasn’t appropriate.
Overall the story was alright. There was a lot of passion between them and also quite a bit of romantic potential as well. With an ending that was more of an HFN than an HEA, it was both hopeful for their future and disappointing that we don’t really get to see if they can live up to the promise they were beginning to show after reconciliation.
This was my first read by Christina Elle and I really enjoyed it. It was a quick funny, endearing book. I loved how awkward and funny Teegan was but really felt bad she was always so down on herself. Wes kept going back and forth between a good guy and a bad guy. Like you understood where he was coming from but he kept making so many mistakes you just wanted to smack him upside his head. Even in the little sad parts it was funny. And I liked that it reminded me of me I go to humor to deflect pain or hurt. If you are wanting a good quick read this is definitely the book for you!! – By Tina
Anywhere With You was a really cute and quick story. It is the first from Christina for me but I really enjoyed reading it. The story follows Teegan who is sick of going to all her friends weddings alone, and Wes, the bride’s ex who is out for revenge.
Teegan is quite, she isn’t as outgoing as the rest of her sorority sisters. I felt for her character. I could see a little bit of me in her. Wes is the complete opposite of Teegan. He is outgoing, always sort after by the opposite sex, and charismatic. I felt the underlying tension between the two main characters, it really made the story quite exciting. I liked these two together.
I did feel that Teegan wanted too much too soon. I also felt that maybe Wes wasn’t as far along as what Teegan was towards the end. It seemed a little rushed to me. But other than that I really enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more from this author.
Anywhere With You buy Christina Elle was a fun, quick and sexy read. It is on the shorter side, but is a complete story and one that was easy to get lost in and just enjoy.
What do you do when you are the last of your friends who is single and you have gone to tons of weddings alone? And this one happens to be a destination wedding and you do not want to go alone…again! You bring along the bride’s ex and your best friend’s brother, of course! Nothing can go wrong, right?
Teagan did not want to go to another wedding alone and Wes wanted revenge against a woman he felt only used him. But neither expected the sparks that would be flying! Anywhere With You was funny, a bit emotional and had a whole lot of chemistry. This is own quick read you are certain to enjoy and one I highly recommend!

Happy reading!
Teegan is the last of her sorority sisters go get married and for the last six weddings has gone dateless. She is tired of being pitied. Here comes Wes, Teegan’s best friend and sorority sister’s big brother. Wes dated the bride until an injury stopped his NFL football career and she ran for the hills while he was still injured. Wes comes to Teegan and asks her to take him with her to the destination wedding in Mexico. She hesitantly accepts. The arrangement is that they fake their relationship so that Wes can get back at Juliet (his ex). It’s just a revenge plot. But is it really? Is the chemistry between Teegan and Wes real or is it just their acting? Is Wes really only after revenge or does he want Juliet back? Teegan and Wes get along so well that its easy to fool everyone but are they fooling themselves too or is it real?
This book made me cry at one point. Don’t worry. It is not an ugly cry book. Its all on me. I’ve been feeling depressed lately and the wording of the big upset before the reconciliation got to me so much I cried. The words kept squeezing my heart for Teegan. I felt her pain. It was that well written. Like I said. Don’t worry. This is a comedy and it will have you laughing. I do recommend it.
A quick read, Anywhere With You was a light story with a lot packed in. Teegan and Wes have known each other for years. When her sorority sister, and Wes’ ex, gets married. Teegan decides to drop her stag tradition and bring him with her.
A fake relationship creates unexpected sparks. The two are unsure what to make of that, as they are surrounded by so many friends in a tropical paradise. I loved as they navigated each other and the muddy waters of their situation. Anywhere With You was paced quickly, and managed to pack a lot of emotion into a shorter novel. It was a fun, one sit read.
Simply Adored this book! The author has written a wonderful storyline that is funny and heartwarming and will simply make you feel good. The characters are well developed and will feel more like family that just characters in a book.
Teegan is going to “another” college sorority sisters wedding, and just like the prior “six”, she’s going alone. Sick of being the long sister with no date she jumps at the chance to go with her college crush, the sexy Wes.
Wes is an NFL player whose career is in jeopardy due to an injury. At his lowest point, his fiancée walks out on him so he comes up with a plan to ruin his ex’s upcoming wedding. Yep the very same wedding he just talked his old friend Teegan to take him as her plus one.
The laughs are endless, with a touch of sadness thrown it but boy oh boy is it ever worth it. 2 Thumbs Up for a great, curl up on the couch story, that I highly recommend. You won’t be sorry you grabbed up this one!
Loved this one SO HARD! Funny, sexy, fast-paced…it’s everything I read romance for, all wrapped up on one wonderfully written package. <3 <3 <3
