I really enjoyed Charlotte & Beau’s sweet and magical love story. What a fun pair! Charlotte’s quirky behaviors made me laugh & I loved seeing Beau’s reaction to her unpredictability.
I’m looking forward to reading more about Beau’s wonderful family. I hope his sister Jilly & his brother Zev get their stories told.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary Advance Reader Copy.
What a great book! Charlotte is an author of erotic romances but she lives alone in a huge house. She’s interested in Beau from the first. Beau repairs/renovates homes & is determined to stay single. Until he walks in on Charlotte working out one of the scenes in her book. He tries to keep away but he’s drawn to her more than any woman in a long time. Can he get past his feelings of guilt to maintain a relationship with Charlotte?
I really enjoyed this one. The sexual intensity between Charlotte & Beau leaps off the page. Beau really had to forgive himself for a prior incident before he could accept a relationship with her. The writer was able to portray their relationship as one they were drawn to & really didn’t have a choice in. No matter how much Beau fought, he couldn’t stop it. Charlotte’s process for working through tough scenes was capable of making me chuckle as I read. Just imagine walking in on the scene Beau did at the beginning & then realizing Charlotte was by herself. She came off as slightly crazy! I know I’m not doing this story justice. If you like romances & hot sexy characters, you have to read this one!
Anything For Love: Fairy tales and romance, what a wonderful combination. I love the way Charlotte and her grandfather created her own fairytale place. Beau’s reaction to Charlotte and the crazy things she did with her blow up dolls was priceless. I was happy that Beau could finally release his past in order to have a future with Charlotte. Funny, emotional and sexy.
OMG I was SOOOO happy to finally get my hands on Charlotte’s story. I fell in love with this woman the few times we’ve briefly met her in past stories and I just have to wonder, is there just a tiny bit of Melissa Foster inside of Charlotte!
No spoilers, but wow! Heartfelt, heartwarming as only a story about the Braden’s can be. My tissue box was handy, as Beau came to grips with his past. My stomach muscles may one day recover from the ups and downs of Charlotte’s crazy way of writing. I do have to say, trying to tune everyone out is difficult sometimes. She really may have the right idea!!!
Foster and her Braden’s are the family I wish my family could be, but we have too many more issues without the strong, dominate male as the father to have taught the sons to be what they are today. Strong women we have in spades, bossy, overbearing men, absolutely. Just not ones who are in touch with their feelings as each Braden male finally becomes.
I cannot wait to see Beau and Charlotte in future stories with babies running around. I can just see it now. Rather than toddler toys, they will be playing with dildos and blowup dolls.
Beau and Charlotte…..what a pair! This is a hot steamy love story that will make you sign, swoon and fall in Love! I cannot wait for the next book 😉
Anything for Love is the second book in the Braden/Montgomery series and also the first book to feature the LWW(Ladies Who Write) world.
Charlotte and Beau sexually chemistry is off the charts; I knew it would be – two words “Blow-Up Dolls”!! Both aren’t looking for a relationship but once they get to know each other and share about their past and that first kiss; all bets are off.
Like all of Melissa’s books, once I start reading I can’t stop till the end and then I am an emotional mess. This one was no different; you laugh, fall in love and cry at some point. I love that in every one of her books, you get past characters showing and giving us some type of update into their life.
If you haven’t read any of Melissa’s books I dare you to pick one up and not fall in love with her writing.
Anything For Love is an easy read, perfect for a day at the beach or curled up on the couch.
Sweet and sexy, Charlotte and Beau have sparks. They have an opposites attract type of relationship, and don’t really get one another at first. Once they get to know each other more and get closer, those sparks turn into something more.
Anything For Love is another fabulous romance from Melissa Foster. It’s intriguing and the characters feel like friends. It’s a great world to get lost in, and is a total standalone. However, if you are familiar with the authors previous work, it’s easy to spot familiar faces. I found it to be well written and paced evenly. I would recommend to the reader looking for a fun opposites attract story.
Melissa Foster really just doesn’t disappoint when it comes to romance fiction. She has so much power to her skill as a writer. Even tho I have read a ton of her work to date, I haven’t come close to reading as much as I’d like. She always takes me to a happy place when I read one of her books. And I love how she has managed to start with Love in Bloom and just branch it out in all kinds of directions PLUS write different genres, etc. She really is exceptional at her craft.
Anything for Love was just as heartwarming as I expected. And Beau was just … wow **swoon**!! How Charlotte and Beau grow into each other is a special thing to read. They both have pasts and history that shape their present but as the story unfolded you could feel how they grew from their history to a future with each other. *sigh*, I really loved this story guys. A lot.

Fall in love with Charlotte and Beau. Charlotte is an erotic romance author without a family, and she hasn’t had a relationship in years. Beau is a carpenter with a big, meddling family, but he lost the love of his life a decade ago and can’t deal with the guilt. Can these two people help each other?
If you’ve ever read Melissa Foster before, you know how well she invokes emotion as you read her books. If you’ve never read one of her books before, be prepared to laugh and cry along with the characters, and enjoy the journey the characters experience.
I loved this story. It was quite steamy, but had laughs and heart tugging in it as well. The characters were easy to fall in love with and roots for.
Beau thinks he is getting away to help fix up a friends Inn, little does he know that Charlotte, an erotica book writer, not only owns the property but is in the middle of a writers block that hand cuffs and blow up dolls cannot help with. But once the two realize that they have a spark, and Charlotte breaks through her writers block, can they find happiness with each other? Or will the baggage that each brings to the table end the relationship before it gets past the hot sex? With great characters and a heartwarming storyline that proves that love can conquer all, this was a wonderful read. I am looking forward to more from this author.
There is nothing Melissa can write that I won’t love and this book solidifies that. Anything for love is about Charlotte, the innkeeper and romance novelist we met in Story of Love, and Beau Braden. Beau is asked to go to Charlottes inn to repair the damages that were made by the Braden women in Story of Love. When he gets there he meets eclectic Charlotte.
Beau has hardened his heart and has distanced himself from his family and friends for 10 years since his girlfriend died. Charlotte is a fairytale loving erotic romance novelist that uses blowup dolls to help her map out a scene. You wouldn’t think they would work well together but Melissa knows what she is doing and can make you a believer in their love.
Loved this amazing book and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Especially Zev’s book
Melissa Foster’s Anything for Love is the perfect storybook romance. I was swept away by the fairy tale setting, the fun, flirty dialogue and the handsome hero who adored his fair lady.
Charlotte Sterling has created a perfect world on paper. She is content living in her families secluded inn in Colorado writing erotic romance novels. Immersed in her characters and their stories, Charlotte hasn’t noticed that her home is need of repair, her bed isn’t set up and doesn’t see the problem with eating Twix candy as her main meal. I loved this fun, quirky character who was waiting for her real life happily ever after.
Beau Braden is a successful contractor who arrives at Sterling House to make necessary repairs to the inn before an annual charity event. Beau has not forgiven himself for a tragedy which took place years ago. He can’t move forward. I adored Beau. At first, I thought he was a little rough around the edges but, as I read his journey I realized that he had a heart of gold.
Melissa Foster’s descriptive writing style adds so much detail to Charlotte and Beau’s romance. There are so many special details incorporated into this romance which made it special and added depth to the characters. Loved how Beau interrupted Charlotte acting out an erotic scene for her novel and she had to explain that her dolls were for research purposes. I could imagine Beau’s jaw clenching and later his amusement at Charlotte’s dedication to her writing process. Loved it when Beau realized that Charlotte hasn’t had the time to finish setting up her bed, hang a beautiful chandelier or cook a meal. He understood and accepted Charlotte. One of my favorite scenes in the book is when Beau tells Charlotte she makes him want to dream again….so romantic! The dialogue between the couple was perfect; funny, flirty and sexy!
The fairy tale atmosphere drew me into Anything for Love. Charlotte thought she had created a perfect world in her romance novels. She wanted true love—a happily ever after. Guilt has made Beau believe that he didn’t deserve a happiness. I enjoyed reading each word of this fabulous love story and watching both characters take a leap of faith together.
Beau and Charlotte’s story is a sensual, modern day romance with all the feels. It reminded me that fairy tales do come true—and that’s why I read romance novels!
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Beau Braden is using his talent to do a favor. Charlotte Sterling will have you laughing right out of the gate. I’m all about setting the mood while reading but with Charlotte I may have to curb the urge. She had me wondering what this author may have hiding in her closet.
Charlotte is funny, quirky, and keeps Beau off-kilter. I’m happily reading and I come to a description at the beginning of chapter three. It made me sad that my house faces south because I would love that view. I could see myself sitting on a country porch with my cup of hot chocolate watching that scene play out – while the book is in my lap.
I was watching Dr. Chris Pet Vet and on one show this woman has some fancy chickens and the part that I think Charlotte would enjoy is that the woman colors them – with non-toxic dyes of course. Charlotte is just one of those characters that is easy to laugh at – more laugh with than laugh at. She has some nice eye candy but she seems more of a workaholic when she gets on a roll. Beau is slow to get started but once he gets there he can be a little persistent. The heat and steam between these two is… And the ending was so romantic.
I have a lot of books to catch up on with this author but there are two that are tied to this book. Luckily I’ve read one titled Thrill of Love but I still need to read Story of Love. My thought would be to read those two books since they introduce us to our characters and then go ahead and read this book again. Since I loved it this time, I know I’ll love it the second time around. Plus I get to laugh at Charlotte again while sitting on that porch. But I have to say that I’m really interested to see if this book comes out in audio. I think it would be a challenge not to full belly laugh while listening – wish list. The Acknowledgements left me very excited about the next book – since I’m thoroughly enjoying this series.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
I’ll keep this short and sweet 🙂
This was such a fun read on how life gives you another chance and how it shows you to embrace it with both hands.
Beau has carried a lot of guilt in him and for a long time he was lost. I loved the way Charlotte with her funny personality made him start seeing that things are not that bad and it’s OK to start feeling again. It was as if she was what doctor proscribed for him to loosen up and to start living his life.
As for Charlotte; I love her. She had me laughing so hard at times with her mannequins and Chickendales. I loved how he understood her and was up to help her with her writers block. I’ve got to say – that office scene was H-O-T!
Book 2 and I’m still in love <3

5 Star review of Anything For Love (The Bradens & Montgomerys (Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls) #2) by Melissa Foster
This is Beau Braden and Charlotte Sterling’s story. Charlotte is an erotic romance author living a lonely life in her family’s inn, her only romance, the people she writes about.
Beau is a man shattered by his past, he is on the brink of stardom about to start filming a home improvement show. When Beau agrees to do some work on Charlotte’s Inn before he leaves, he has no idea just how much that decision will change his life.
Neither Charlotte or Beau are looking for a relationship, too badly hurt by their past. Struggling to meet a deadline, Charlotte asks Beau to help her with some “research”into sex positions.Throw in handcuffs, blow up dolls, some other toys and you can be sure that there will be some laughs.
The chemistry between Charlotte and Beau was sizzling and as they get to know each other, they slowly but surely become aware that feelings are becoming involve, even though they are both terrified of what could happen.
I particularly enjoy, Ms.Foster’s style of writing and cannot wait to read more in this series.
Will Charlotte and Beau be prepared to take a giant leap of faith and perhaps finally find their happily ever after? One click now and find out.
ARC received for an honest review
I adore the Braden/Montgomery’s and all around them, and Anything For Love is no exception.
Sigh, my heart hurt for both Charlotte and Beau in this story, however as their story progressed, you could feel that hurt healing for both of them. Their mutual admiration for each other, the way they heal each other had me smiling.
There was plenty of sad moments as we learn their back stories, however there were plenty of laugh out loud, sweet and tender moments as well.
I adore how they both draw the other out of their self-imposed shells, and how their family and friends can see it before they even do.
There is plenty of sexual tension between them, and oh my the sexy times are hot!
I know I have missed some of the books in this series, however this did not affect my enjoyment of this story – in fact it has made me more impatient to go back and read the ones I have missed.
Ms Foster writes loveable, believable characters and storylines, and I can’t wait to read more.
