She hates me.And who can blame her?I haven’t exactly given Cataclysm’s new assistant any reason to like me. Our first meeting is a disaster—I thought she was a groupie. She didn’t appreciate the compliment. And it all goes downhill from there.I make it my job to be an asshole, to make life on the road for her more difficult, all in an effort to get some kind of reaction out of her other than the … kind of reaction out of her other than the polite, cool mask she gives only me. To make matters worse, the band has deemed my partying to be “out of control,” and they make her my babysitter too.
But partying gets old and doesn’t fill the hole I need to heal. And needling Viola stops bringing me any pleasure, especially when I see the real effects of my behavior.
When she finally lets her guard down, our chemistry is electric. All I have to do is convince her there’s more to me than the playboy rockstar she first met.
But they say first impressions last forever. And maybe I really am just the asshole she thinks …

I really loved this story, I was anxious to read Mason’s story.
Mason managed to irritate me with his actions at first, but when he finally realized his feelings and started to change it was really interesting.
Both he and Viola have issues from the past that affect their ways of seeing things and that affects them when they decide to give their incredible chemistry a chance.
I loved the story and the characters. I highly recommend the reading.
I really loved Mason’s story. But he did annoy me with his reckless behaviour and they way he treated Viola and the band he works and plays music with.
I get the title anyone but you, as who would think you could fall for a rock star who is so reckless and uncaring about others feelings.
But then again he is insanely hot and he makes Viola so hot.
I really liked it in the book how the more time Mason spends with Viola it makes him change for the better.
Not just with her, but with the band too.
He wants to be a better man because of her.
I don’t usually go for new adult romance books. The drama is too much for me, but this series got me from the first book and the series held my interest until Blaine’s story. I considered that a one off since I never liked her character. I liked Viola and how she was initially a fish out of water who finally came to terms with her life And stood up to her parents. It was an “about damn time moment” since her parents apparently undervalued her college education so much that they kept pushing her to be an admin. I’m a parent of a nearly a college grad and I can tell you that wasn’t the conversation we were having in our house. Mason was an absolute d!ck. He did not grow on me. I thought he felt sorry for himself and instead of being a mature adult acted out. The appearances of the remainder of the band and Viola herself saved me from giving fewer stars.
