Michele’s writing style is one of my favorites to read… I highly recommend this book as she makes me stop and read whenever her new stuff drops.
Great story, I loved their passion for each other, even when they were denying it to themselves. The photography sections of the story were amazingly described, both the scenery and of Summer; I could see her glowing. Summers determination to be the “best” kept her strong. His determination to stay close to his love for surfing even after his accident was well written. Their love of the ocean had them hooked and coming back to each other. To top it off your detailed description of the ocean,
the movement of the waves, the way the beauty of the ocean called to them and holy moly the snake scene were terrific. This was a beautiful love story; the passion they had for each other and the ocean that brought them back together is beautifully written. You can almost smell the salt in the air, the wind in your face, the thrill of riding a perfect wave and the heat of their passion. Well done Michele DeWinton, me thinks there’s a surfer somewhere behind the pages of your book

A really good second chance romance.
Summer and Ashton had their chance a few years ago but Ashton wasn’t mature enough to realize what he was doing with his life then. Due to a tragic event, he now realizes what a jerk he really was. The question is… can he make it work out this time?
This book is well written, easy to follow and the characters are really well developed. Oh… and it packs some serious heat along with being emotionally charged.
A second chance romance for Ashton and Summer a well-written book that I enjoyed reading. I am looking forward to reading more books by this Author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
If you like surf stories this one will be right up your alley. Ashton and Summer once had a relationship but he was a total douche. Now thanks to an accident he can no longer surf so he is a photographer. Summer on the other hand does surfing along with competitions and thanks to signing a contract with a jerk who just so happens to be her ex she is stuck. She and Ashton are placed together and have to find a way to make things work but what is remarkable are the feelings they still have for each other in spite of everything else. Can these two work toward building something together again?

Great well written second chance romance. It was a smooth short read. The characters and storyline were great. i received it from booksprout and voluntarily reviewed it.
Former surfer, turned professional photographer Ashton Evans is in Brazil to cover a surfing event, when he sees Summer Roberts. Summer had a crush on Ashton five years before, and he broke her heart – not that he even noticed. (Three years ago, Ashton was involved in an accident which left him broken mentally and ended his surfing career.) Even though she is still hurt at what had happened, Summer cannot help still being attracted to Ashton, and soon he realizes that he cannot resist her, but can he handle any relationship?
ANOTHER SHOT WITH SUMMER is Michele de Winton’s first book in her brand new surfing series Chasing Summer Tides. Whether you love surfing, or know very little, you’re in for a treat! I belong to the latter category, and I was awed at the exceptionally vivid images described by Ms. De Winton. It’s obvious the author has surfed before, and not in a kiddie pool! I would picture Brazil, Bali, the majestic views, the waves, and what surfers experience. It was also fun learning the lingo; it was not obscure, they were just things I didn’t know, and how difficult it is for women surfers to break into the “boys’ club”. Ashton’s sister is also a surfer and one of Summer’s surfing rivals, although she is also her friend. These two are also friends with Brook Taylor, a PR person, and Maya and Brook are fabulous. I absolutely adored the friendship and conversations these women had; it felt so real, I wanted them as best friends too!
And dear readers, if you think the surfing’s hot, wait until you get to the sex scenes! Make sure to have a fire extinguisher nearby!
I really liked Ashton and Summer’s book. This second chance romance is entertaining and engaging. Taking readers into the world surfing and featuring exotic locations, this series looks to bring a lot of steamy heat and fun excitement to readers. With drama, heartache, an attraction that’s been biding it’s time for that second chance and hot chemistry between the lead characters, this book is a winner.
