The fourth Longmire novel from the New York Times bestselling author of Land of Wolves Fans of Ace Atkins, Nevada Barr, and Robert B. Parker will love the fourth mystery in New York Times bestselling author Craig Johnson’s award-winning Longmire Mystery series, the basis for LONGMIRE, the hit drama series now streaming on Netflix. It delivers more of the taut prose, engrossing characters, … of the taut prose, engrossing characters, beautiful Wyoming setting, and satisfying depth that reviewers have been hailing since his first book, The Cold Dish. In Another Man’s Moccasins, the body of a Vietnamese woman dumped along the Wyoming interstate opens a baffling case for Sheriff Longmire, whose only suspect is a Crow Indian with a troubled past. But things get even stranger when a photograph turns up in the victim’s purse that ties her murder to one from Longmire’s past—a case he tackled as a Marine Corps investigator forty years earlier in Vietnam.

I am devouring everything he writes
CAN’T WAIT TO READ THE NEW ONE THI SFALL. TOP OF MY PILE AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES
Longmire is an unforgettable character!
Great book
I am a big fan of the Longmire series and I watched the show on TV also. This one was not quite as good as some of his other Longmire books but still a good read.
Just good reading, well written.
As a fan of the Longmire TV series, I was somewhat disappointed in the characters in this book. Walt is depicted as a flawed veteran of the Viet Nam era and his demons from that war dominate the narrative. I like the TV version better.
Enjoyed the Tv show and characters would like to see Longmire back on TV good clean western
Love the Longmire series
Longmire books are the best
Not really a Longmire story. It’s a Vietnam war story, grim, depressing. Do not recommend.
I love the Longmire series on Netflex, even though they don’t match the books. I wish the books weren’t so expensive…I would love to have read all of them.
I watched all the Longmire shows on tv 2 or 3 times. Really liked the modern day western hero. So to read a book featuring Walt Longmire was a treat.
an always entertaining writer
I really enjoyed the Longmire television series. The book provides a different, more in-depth perspective on the story and the psychology of the Walt character. Very enjoyable.
As usual, Longmire kept us interested and is a bit unpredictable. Good read.
Love the TV show, love the books.
Another do Craig Johnson’s best.
Craig Johnson’s style of writing reminds me of a favorite uncle talking about his past. It’s welcoming and unassuming, and I need more!
