While this book was, of course, meant for readers in a time passed, I still enjoyed it immensely. With each new chapter and each new event in the animal’s lives, I found myself growing more and more horrified. It really goes to show you how easily the public can be manipulated into thinking that their leaders are doing what’s best for everyone …
