From International and USA Today Bestselling Author comes the Third Book in the exciting Jokers’ Wrath Series. There are a lot of things in this world that are easy to escape from. That is until his ex-girlfriend dies and his … ex-girlfriend dies and his son is handed over to him. A two month old baby he didn’t know existed. Until now.
His world comes crashing down around him.
Desperate, he hires a nanny.
Jaylah has gotten herself into some serious trouble, so when she sees the job opening for a nanny pop up, she jumps on it. Of course she’s not a nanny, but she figures she can pull it off. I mean, how hard can it be?
She’s thrown into a world of diapers, hourly feedings and a whole lot of laundry. She’s also introduced to the most rugged, gorgeous man she’s ever had the pleasure of meeting.
The best part, he’s the baby’s father.
The worst part, he’s a biker.
Their sexual tension is huge, but he’s a hard nut to crack. She’ll get in, though. She makes it her mission to break through the wall Mack has built so high around himself.
Her world is about to spiral out of control, and she’s taking Mack along for the ride.

Anguish is the third book in Bella Jewel’s Jokers’ Wrath MC series. It is about Mack, the nomad and the foster brother (and MC brother) of the Prez. Talk about a man that has demons riding his shoulders … at times one wonders how he has been able to carry on … and his voice … oh my … makes one’s ovaries explode (or at least so one dreams). Being the hard ass that Mack is, he needs a woman who takes no crap and can kick ass when need be … but also who can make him laugh and who can get in there … enters Jaylah who is in some pretty deep doodoo herself and being the woman she is, she jumps in, head first and ends up with a loads of diapers, hourly feedings and a biker that refuses to touch his son …
It is one heck of a ride and I promise you that you need to hold on hard but it will be so worth it! And it introduced to some other characters that I had to go and check out if they have their own stories AND they do!!! Marcus, here I come!
I couldn’t wait to get Mack’s book after the ending of Melancholy. This was a fantastic look into a beautiful journey of a mans hardships, growth, and becoming a phenomenal father. Jaylah came into Mack’s life and flipped it upside down. I loved their banter, their chemistry, and the way they both grew. This was possibly the best out of the series so far. But that’s not me saying I didn’t love the other books, they are all phenomenal.
This series is determined to rip my heart in two! Mack is so closed off, Santana gets a little of his softness but that’s it! He does all he can for his brothers and the MC but he is so guarded.
Until Jaylah, she enters his life like a whirlwind, to help care for a child he never knew he had. This woman is sassy AF and is not scared to call him out on his shizz!
But when Jaylah is in danger, he will do all he can to keep her safe. Honestly, this book took my heart, melted!
Anguish, third book in the series, Mack & Jayla’s story.
I can definitely say that this one is better than the first two books in the series. Jayla might come across as stupid but she is very loyal and cares deeply while Mack loves fiercely. They had a rollercoaster start but ended together beautifully. It was a quick read for me as I enjoyed reading it.
Another good read, onto the next book Desolation
I was really looking forward to Mack’s book. I totally fell for Mack in the last book. He was so dark, broody, and mysterious. And while I did love this book there were a few things that didn’t work for me and caused this book to be a 4 star read instead of 5. Mack was just so sexy, and while I loved him to pieces I hated the fact that he was madly in love with another woman (who died) before Jaylah. I don’t have problems with widow type stories unless I feel like the new love is second best. And there were many times I did in fact feel like Jaylah didn’t measure up to Ingrid(dead ex and mother of Mack’s son). The first time him and Jaylah had sex he called her Ingrid and I wanted to puke. My heart broke for Mack and his pain but I hated that Jaylah seemed second place to a ghost. And a crappy ghost at that, because I didn’t like Ingrid. She was stupid woman that was married to Mack’s brother and slept with both brothers. She wouldn’t leave Mack’s brother and be with Mack like he wanted and she ran when she found out she was pregnant trying to pass the baby off as her husbands. I hated her and felt Mack’s love was wasted on a pos.
That brings me to the second problem I had with this book, the way Mack treated his son. He wanted nothing to do with his baby Diesel. He didn’t touch him, talk to him, feed him, nothing. He wouldn’t even say his name and it bugged me. Yes Mack comes around thanks to Jaylah pushing him and starts to be a father but I lost some respect for him at that point. Jaylah was amazing. I loved her and at times I felt she was too good for Mack because she wasn’t his #1 love and she was too awesome to be second place. On a small side note Jaylah’s mom was so funny. I liked the plot and for the most part I like this book but like I said those two above listed problems took away some of my enjoyment of this read. Oh well on to the next book.
