Really enjoyed it!
I liked this book because it put me in mind of the TV show “the Rookie”. The characters are very complex and the book explores their relationships with each other and how their lives intersect. It left me wanting more. It could have ended better.
Not a page turner
Thin characters, unrealistic, easy to figure out
Moved quickly , not sure I’ll buy the next books.
I can’t recommend this book because I hate cliffhangers…feel like I’ve been cheated by the author!! Don’t waste your time, the story line isn’t even that good.
Enjoyed this book
Good story but unfortunately have to read the second in the series for the ending.
Every so often, I just need a goid crime mystery to read that is easy to read, has a good plot and enjoyable. Angry Betty fit the bill!!
It was a nice read. But police procedures were not very realistic. Or maybe they weren’t described very thoroughly. I found that distracting.
interesting and easy to read
I am very sorry to write that Angry Betty is the worst book I have ever had the misfortune to read. There were a confusing array of plot lines with over wordy descriptions. The end was a chopped off (to be continued) non resolution of any of the plot lines. The only recommendation I can make for this book is do not waste your time.
It was so good I had to buy the sequel to see what happened next.
From the name of the town (Peculiar) to the actions of the characters, this book was an enjoyable and original ride.
I very much enjoyed this book It was fun to read because the mere were no boring spots you had to meander through to keep the plot moving.
Oh, man, Angry Betty is a good title. You wanted her to turn out to be a good person, but, she was just what she wanted to be, an angry woman who wanted what she wanted, despite what it did to others who tried to help her.
A little to much gore for me. The ending kind of left me hanging but maybe I just didn’t get it. I probably won’t go for more from this series.
I loved it! Couldn’t put it down! Angry Betty was a real creep! I had to buy the sequel!!! Really enjoyed the books!!
Did not care for ending. Forces you to read next book in series
Great fast read!
Loved the premise, but it didn’t live up to its promise.
