What a journey it’s been. The Patience of a Dead Man series is 778 pages of pure terror and dread. Michael Clark pieced together a perfectly executed trilogy with an unforgettable cast of characters that I can not get enough of. A thrilling and arduous story filled with anxious uncertainty. If you have not read any of the books in this series, I recommend that you start as soon as possible. This is not your average ghost story.
I am going to do my best to not spoil anything since this is the final book in this series.
This is the final book in the Patience of a Deadman Trilogy, and what a ride this series has been. This book picks up immediately with the events that were happening in the second book. I really appreciated this since the way the second book ended was crazy. So much happened in this book it kept me on the edge of my seat.
Tim and Holly go through so much I really don’t know how I would come out on the other side of this if I was them.
I love Mildred as a villain somehow the author has made her relatable, and I am not sure how he did that.
Andrew who we met in the second book has a bigger role in this one. I am hoping that there is going to be a series about him and his “abilities” later on. I feel that that might be hinted or I am just really hopeful.
I am still not sure what to think about the ending. It’s a good ending, it’s just not what I expected but then again I am not sure what I thought was going to happen. I really like how the ending was final. After all that we have been though in this trilogy I feel we have closure.
I am just going to say you should give the first book a chance this is a wonderful keep you on the edge of your seat trilogy.
Anger is an Acid picked right up where we left off with Mildred, bent on revenge and making Tim feel her pain and loss. She does this by snatching his daughters and its a race to try to save them from this psychopathic entity who is a danger to everyone around her.
With the help of some unsuspecting characters we go on one final battle against Mildred and her rage that is more than this world can handle. Michael Clark has done a great job over the course of this series of letting us get to know these characters and bond with them through tragedy and terror.
Anger is an Acid was a wonderful conclusion to this series that never lets up.
Anger Is An Acid is a continued tale of revenge that one… being… is determined to carry out. But this time, it’s not just revenge that Mildred is feeling. There’s much more bubbling under the surface and she will go to great measures in order to carry out her plan.
My goodness. I read this book in two sittings. I just could not stop reading!
This tale was so wonderfully unsettling. At every turn, I couldn’t help but wish for the the best, but dread the worst. You just never knew how things were going to play out which made this a heart-pounding read!
My favorite thing about reading stories that get under my skin is how jumpy they make me. Even though I had turned on every light that I could see in my immediate area while reading Anger Is An Acid, my entire body still came completely up off of the bed when my husband opened the door to enter the room.
The best part? I had heard his footsteps coming toward the room, I knew he would open the door, and it STILL made me jump. Phew!
This is yet again another book that I could go on and on about, but I don’t wait to spoil anything! So I’ll just say that this one was written so wonderfully and paced so well that I just couldn’t put it down. It was jam-packed with suspense and you really feel for all of the characters!
Anger Is An Acid is truly the most perfect ending to this trilogy. From the first page to the very last, you will be hanging on every word.
Just like the other three books, it was wonderfully written and each of the characters really came to life! The plot was wicked suspenseful and engaging. This book was filled with so many truly scary moments, but there was also a lot of heart! And the very end… totally made me tear up!
