I enjoyed this book very much…
very good
I enjoyed the interactions with the angel Danny. Seeing his perspective on (other) angels, demons, heaven, hell, Him etc was oddly fascinating.
The story starts a little slowly, but I found myself engrossed in the world alongside the two main characters. They are very likable and interesting, and I was cheering them on as they found new and creative ways to battle the vampires and werewolves.
Love, love, LOVE this book. The first book I have enjoyed this much since I read my first Anne McCaffrey or Mercedes Lackey book!
I love vampire books and I really loved this one. Wonderfully written book, love the plot.
This is one of those stories that you cannot put down. And then you are buying the next in the series…and the next. I would recommend putting this on your list of books to read.
The whole idea of a book is to transport you away from the mundane of everyday life, this does so in spades .absolutely brilliant, the heroine s believable and sassy, loved it !!!!
Started a bit slow, but picked up steam toward the end.
This book is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this book to people.
Sections ridiculously long and drawn out, making reading it laborious. The action makes you want to roll your eyes. The redundancy bored me to near comatose.
It had a decent start then died a painful death. I tried numerous times to get back into it, just in case it was my mood and not the book.
Finally realized it’s the way the story is written that is the problem.
The action is mostly the heroine running around talking about how she is changing and doing some bizarre stuff. No real character build nor world build. Just some insinuation to Helena’s background and why she ended up on the run.
Sorry, but as you can tell, I didn’t like it.
As far as typos/editing errors, I don’t remember seeing them.
A different type of story about Angel’s. Demons and other types of immortals. Full of action and adventure with some inspiring characters and some that are not quite what they seem. A good read from beginning to ending and looking forward to book 2 in this series.
Intriguing plot line. Loved that is wasn’t predictable. Fun characters and will go on to read the rest of the series
I gave up reading after about 4 chapters. I found the book to be unoriginal.
Poorly written and hard to follow
A book for adolescents I think. Easy read.
Meh. Nothing new here. Angels. Vampires. Werewolves. Angel-Vampire. Just mediocre writing.
New explanations for supernatural events within a love story. Didn’t feel satisfied with ending.
Entertaining, for sure. Unique angle of the vampire genre. Great characters.
I couldn’t even finish it. The story took itself way to seriously, and I found myself impatient wanting the writer to just get on with it. I quit reading after about 65 pages.
