I thoroughly enjoyed this interesting book written by a dedicated Physician working in the E.R. I was extremely blessed to volunteer in the Chaplain’s office in my hometown after my retirement, and though I did not encounter many experiences in the E.R. I can relate with this Doctor’s varied encounters with his patients. The book was a …
ER stories as reported from a faith perspective by an ER doc. Really good stories, well written.
A Doctors day in the er.
Very informative, but stories and characters underdeveloped It read too much like a list of supernatural happenings. Good info, but book not written a style of interest to me.
Great book! Well written and interesting. I enjoyed the book a lot.
I found this book to be informative and very interesting because of the different types of characters (patients) that came into the Emergency Room. I loved the doctor’s thoughts about each patient.
Angel’s in th ER was inspiring and reinforced my appreciation of and for doctors , nurses and First Responders.
As a nurse, I’ve had similar experiences. I truly believe in angels.
ER Physicians have a very entertaining job. All kinds of patients come into ER for help. They all have different ways of showing themselves. All of us have new ways of living. ER physicians have a very inspiring way to have a job. I’d like to have an ER job.
If you like true medical stories this is a great book. It gives actual accounts of patients who come to the emergency room in a small hospital . Some are funny and some are sad but it will give you a real appreciation for the people who work there.
This book let you know what is like to work in the Er.
Wonderful book – I’m going to look for others by Dr. Lesslie
This book is a treasure. I am so impressed with the people who work in the ER situations. My admiration and prayers go out to these folks.
Not what I expected, but good none the less. The “Angels” are real people, doctors, nurses, etc who go above and beyond caring for the patients. It’s interesting.
This is a very uplifting book. I recommend it.
I worked in medical records and had daily contact with the E.R. In addition, one of my best writing friends is an E.R. physician. For these reasons, I connected with these stories, and truly appreciated the fact that this Dr. worked from the viewpoint that God uses the many people both in and even just passing through the E.R. for His …
It was not what I expected, but interesting
This is a very good book, and I’m looking forward to reading the other books the author has written.
I am in the medical field and this is a realistic look at the life in the ER.
Liked the reality of ER Nursing. Liked the style of writing. Just all round appealed to me, though a couple of the stories were tear jerkers.
