Creswell Springs was a small town in Trinity Count, California. Population 1,500—maybe. It’s a quiet town, with small town values. Its greatest income is the University just outside of the town limits… and the revenue the local Motorcycle Club brings in.
Being part of the MC that was Angel’s Halo was exactly like being part of a family. A scary, powerful, crazy family. It was also like its own … like its own society. There are rules, just as there are in every family, every society. But only breaking one of their rules will leave you in a broken, blood pile on the floor…
No one touches Raven Hannigan.
Raven
I was the MC’s only weakness. Or so my father use to tell me as I was growing up. Mad Max Hannigan was once Angel’s Halos’ president. He made the rules and everyone was expected to follow them or come face to fist with the enforcer…
I have spent my life in the middle of the MC. I knew the rules—the penalties for breaking those rules. So I knew what would happen to him if I let him break the golden rule… But I loved him, like I have never loved anyone or anything before. I thought my love would protect him.
Of course it hadn’t. When our secret was discovered he was beaten.
So I shouldn’t blame him for leaving me…
Bash
As the enforcer I knew the consequences. Knew exactly what was in store for me when Raven’s family found out that I had dared to break my MC’s unforgivable rule. I loved her, so it didn’t matter to me. When her oldest brother delivered my punishment I didn’t scream. Didn’t groan. I took it like the man my MC had made me, and would have done it over and over again if that was what it took to be able to call Raven Hannigan mine.
But then my past reared its ugly head and I had a choice to make. One that I have only lived to regret.
Taking on the job as Angel’s Halos’ new president was my second chance. But… would my secrets destroy everything Raven and I once had?
more
This is about MC life Raven she is the one girl in a house of brothers and they took care of her because their parents died and then her brothers took over. The only rule they had at the Club is no one touches Raven Hannigan. But there one guy that did not keep that one rule and his name is Bash. Bash had to take the beaten that he had come because of him wanting to touch Raven. Now would be the best time to buy the book to find out what happens to the people in it. It will be worth getting it. I will be getting more from this author.
Angel’s Halo sure has a lot going on, in fact, it had some much happening that there was not time for boredom. Technically the story is about the relationship between Raven and Bash but does not stick with just those two. Terri Anne Browning goes beyond just telling the story of two main characters but also encompassing the other characters stories as she builds the world of the Angel’s Halo MC. Definitely hard to get bored in a story like that.
There really isn’t much I didn’t like about Angel’s Halo, except for maybe Raven’s brothers keeping secrets from her, all that did was make her question their loyalty to her and a sister should never ever have to question her brothers loyalty to her, but that also works both ways so I guess we will see what happens in the next book in the series.
I did very much like what a badass Raven is and how she really does make Bash work for every inch of her heart after the way he just abandoned her, it really serves him right. I also like that Bash gets it that she won’t let him in to her heart as easily as she let him back into her bed, the question will be weather he gets to stay there or not and only book two and time will give us the answer to that question. The Hannigan brothers are a handful for their sister but it is also clear that even as she questions their loyalty, they do respect her ability to take care of shit and stay out of her way.
I would have to say I very much enjoyed the storyline and tempo of the book itself and there were so few edits that hardly anything interrupted the afore mentioned tempo. Thank you, Terri Anne Browning for writing an interesting story I look forward to reading book 2 in the series.

Loved this book. Told by many POV’s, the characters were intriguing, gritty, and interesting. Great start to a series.
An amazing start 5 stars
“Don’t. Don’t say it. I know what I want, Raven. I will deal with your brothers and the club when the time comes. Until then, just … Fuck. I’ve got to kiss you.”
I’ve read Terri Anne’s books before but never her biker series I’m so happy I found this series!
Raven is Angel’s Halo MC Princess grown and raised in a club with her four older brothers and her dad
She lost her mother when she was just a little girl and her father was killed
After his father died, he was raised by his older brother Jet
Who is also president of the club, the circumstances change when her older brother ends up in prison
And the club now needs a new president
Raven is of limited to all club brothers except to one Bash they have grown up together
Whom Raven had been in love for a long time, that her older brothers didn’t even know
Finally when Bash gets the approval of the Raven brothers,
and they approve of this relationship then he leaves
Now a year later that someone is coming back to her life
Hawk is Raven’s middle older brother
When his older brother is in jail he does everything to protect his younger sister
His family also has a club bar where they all work
He also has two younger brothers Cole and Colt
When her younger sister gets in trouble and in danger he will meet his future
There are so many of these characters as well as several point of views in this book
This book was interesting to read all the time there was something going on
Overall: Drama emotional action jealousy and love and ended with something unexpected
Thank you!
Storyline was entertaining with emotions, hot bikers and steamy sex. Hated for the book to end. Enjoyed the fact that Raven didn’t automatically forgive Bash. (Even though she was a little wishy washy. One minute he was forgiven then the next she’s mad about something else.) Loved their chemistry and all the characters introduced in the book. Can’t wait to read the next one in this series.
Raven has always lived under the protection of her overprotective brothers and father. There is one rule “No one touches Raven Hannigan” but when the man she falls in love with, Bash dares to not only touch her but fight for her against her family. It makes her so happy until he walks away not only from the MC but from her. Bash has done everything to forget her and when one mistaken night takes everything away from him. A year and a half later after he is requested to become the MC President he knows he has to return home and once he sees Raven he knows he will do anything to get her back, but his secrets may destroy everything. I love this series and it’s characters. I fell in love with how sassy Raven is but Bash doesn’t shy away from it, he embraces who she is. Great Series and I can’t wait to read more.
As much as I loved Ms. Browning’s Rocker series, I was excited to read this book, going in a different direction for her. I knew, based on previous books, that this could be nothing less than amazing. And I was not disappointed.
This is the first book in the Angel’s Halo MC series. It begins with Raven, the “princess” of the MC. She is a strong female, who knows who she is and what she wants from life. And she isn’t afraid to do what she has to do to get it. Life was good, until it wasn’t. She was in love, but then he left.
Bash is the enforcer of the MC. He loves Raven, made his play for her, even though he knew it was a risk, and dangerouse. Then, he just left.
When Bash comes back, to take his place as MC President, he also wants Raven back. There were a lot of hard feelings, and obstacles in their way. There were also secrets that were being kept.
This book was fantastic, and everything I’ve come to expect from a Terri Anne Browning Book. Plenty of action, drama, twists and turns, to keep it interesting, but at the heart of it, its still a love story. Strong characters, a solid plot, and a HEA make for one of the best MC stories I’ve read in a long time. I definitely would recommend this one, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Loved the series
Great series
Liked this one so much, I purchased the rest of the series. Just wish she would put the order of the books on the front, bought one that was the 1st in the series and read it 3rd.
Loved the journey of each character. Wanted story to continue
Hmm… Angel’s Halo was sort of a mixed bag for me. It had a little bit of danger, a little bit of action, a little bit of romance, a little bit of each character… really, there were just TOO many “littles” for me.
I was under the impression that this book would primarily be about Raven and Bash. You could certainly say they were the heroine and Hero of the story but I felt like I didn’t get to spend enough time with them. Just when I was getting to know them better… BOOM!… it switched to Hawk to Gracie to Spider to Willa. I’m a HUGE fan of alternating POVs but not of how much it was done in this one.
So, from the time we did get to spend with them…
Bash (our Hero)… I was on the fence where he was concerned. He didn’t come across as the oh-so-desirable alpha biker that I like best. Yes, he was somewhat mysterious, hot, all the women wanted him but the secrets he kept from Raven had me incredibly ticked off at him. And the fact that everyone but her seemed to know them (even if it was only a few weeks before her)… Gah! I felt like I was the one who was betrayed when Raven found out where he was living and with whom for the past year. And then to bring them both to Raven’s house and move them into her room… basically, just force it all on her… Not cool Bash, NOT. COOL.
As for Raven (our heroine)… I liked her, the majority of the time. She was kick-butt (loved the beat down on Gracie’s roommate), loyal and had a kind heart. I didn’t like how she questioned herself after Hawk told her to “get over it”. Unlike some, I didn’t think she was acting like a little kid. The secrets that had just been dumped on her were of mammoth proportions… not to mention the fact that Bash had been GONE FOR A YEAR, without a goodbye before he left, then suddenly pops back into the bar. I just wish she didn’t give in to that sexual frustration so easily once she felt his motorcycle’s vibrations… 😉
I believe Willa and Spider’s story is up next but if it goes anything like this book, there will probably be a lot of time spent on other characters. I’m NOT looking forward to living in the past, especially if I have to hear about Bash screwing that psycho Tasha. Once my “Heroes” have been set up with their heroines, I HATE back tracking to their manw**** days. Anyways… on to book two, Angel’s Halo: Entangled!
Loved this series!
