Eighteen year old Myla Lewis is a girl who loves two things: kicking ass and kicking ass. She’s not your every day quasi-demon, half-demon and half-human, girl. For the past five years, Myla has lived for the days she gets to fight in Purgatory’s arena. When souls want a trial by combat for their right to enter heaven or hell, they go up against her, and she hasn’t lost a battle yet.
But as she …
But as she starts her senior year at Purgatory High, the arena fights aren’t enough to keep her spirits up anymore. When the demons start to act weird, even for demons, and the King of the Demons, Armageddon, shows up at Myla’s school, she knows that things are changing and it’s not looking good for the quasi-demons. Myla starts to question everything, and doesn’t like the answers she finds. What happened seventeen years ago that turned the quasi-demons into slave labor? Why was her mom always so sad? And why won’t anyone tell her who her father is? Things heat up when Myla meets Lincoln, the High Prince of the Thrax, a super sexy half-human and half-angel demon hunter. But what’s a quasi-demon girl to do when she falls for a demon hunter? It’s a good thing that Myla’s not afraid of breaking a few rules. With a love worth fighting for, Myla’s going to shake up Purgatory.

I love the whole series
This book grabbed me from page one and did not let go of me until the very last page. Wow, what a great book. The main character Myla is a bad ass quasi demon who loves in purgatory with her mother. Mila fights in the arena in purgatory, she fights those who pick trial in combat. If her opponent wins they make it to heaven. If they lose, they go …
I love the Angelbound Origins world and stories I just can’t seem to get enough of it. I love how strong Myla is and how she is not afraid to stand up and fight. Myla loves spending her days at Purgatory’s arena fighting. I love the Purgatory world and the life that goes on there.
I love how Myla’s tail loves to get in on the action. I love it …
Talk about some great world building! This book will have you amazed at each new page as the author surprises is again and again. Demons, angels, ghouls, and so much combine into a world you cannot put down. I do need book two now. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Very much enjoyed this book
I started reading this book and had to finish it. This is a unique tale with awesome, edge of your seat action, well written characters and romance. Also one of the main characters, Myla, has my name. Like how cool is that I highly recommend this book and hope you enjoy it has I did.
What a great concept, however for being in main character’s head (her) point of view the whole time left me wanting more. I actually thought she was a bit immature and flat.
Statements were also repeated too often. I think cutting this book down by a third could have helped. I went on to read almost all the other books in the series. There is …
I could not put this book down! I just started the second one and I’m already loving it.
I will read the next book in this series.
Interesting story line. Fun read. A !little far fetched in the fighting scenes but I liked this book.
Great! Fun and adventurous!
A very good read for me
Could put the books down. Waiting for book #5 impatiently. Author knows how to keep you on your toes.
Great books i cant wait to read the third!
I love this book, it’s very addicting!!
An interesting concept executed well. Honestly, as someone with a blood thirsty side and an interest in demons and fallen angels, I think I’d have preferred if it was Demon bound instead, but whatever.
Great book! Different story plot. Is part of a series but doesn’t leave you on a cliffhanger which I appreciate. I would like to catch the rest of the series on sale@
A riveting read!
Things are changing…
And Myla starts to question everything…
But will she likes the answers?
An epic, kick*** heroine that will leave you laughing at every turn and feeling such a bad*** yourself! A heroine that is unapologetic and addictive!
So much awesomeness in this book that I do not know where to even begin. A …
Okay where do I start. I love this. We have a badass heroine, a hero who lets her be said badass and loves her for it and an awesome world.
There wasn’t a thing I didn’t like about this book. For those close to me will tell you I love stuff like this. Angels, demons, anything supernatural. Total up my alley.
Story is set in Purgatory, which is …
I admittedly didn’t get very far in this because the it was just so…. bad. Not my cup of tea!
