Three very easy to read detective stories with no swearing or sexual acts. A very nice read.
Bought volume 4,5,6 and currently reading 7. will read all 10 copies.
A light, enjoyable read. I loved the dry humor and plot twist. It’s not action-packed – the plot moves along at a leisurely pace – but it was intriguing enough to keep me turning pages.
This is a fast, cute period read. Great for a cold winter afternoon and a pot of tea.
Good read, not too taxing, not too long.
great miss marple type english who done it.
Too British, too much politeness, very little action. Made it thru the 1st one & bailed.
First book was slow but the second book was great. I am just starting the third book . It seems to be another page turner.
Satisfied my Agatha Christie fix. Great period piece.
It is so refreshing to read an author who doesn’t resort to filth in action or words to get a reader’s attention! She actually uses the plot for that.
enjoyed the characters, plot, and writing style.
In much the same vein as Agatha Christie mysteries
I found this book predictable. I finished it only to find out if I was right. And I was!
This one kept me guessing to the end usually can pick the character “whodunnit” out with in the first three chapters. This one kept me guessing. I also like the ideas from the lady detective she was cautious and unpredictable! Love!
