Thanksgiving is a busy time of year for Smiling Dog Books. Thoughts of Black Friday shoppers, turkey, and The Aunties’ dueling dressing recipes should be all that’s on Addie Foster’s mind. But when an old man dies of seemingly natural causes at a local senior center, a friend of the victim challenges Addie Foster to prove it’s really murder. She wonders if the death is somehow related to the … latest in a series of terrifying nightmares she’s had. Will Addie, along with her BFF Grey, The Aunties, and her boyfriend Detective Wolfe be able to solve the crime before another resident dies? Or will Addie’s visions lead her to trouble again?

Angel of Death
(An Addie Foster Mystery, #4)
Kimberley O’Malley
Angel of Death will keep you in hanging in suspense up until the end. It is a hard to put down, easy read. Addie & Jonah’s relationship continues to strengthen. The prophetic dreams & Addie’s secret admirer return both a little scarier then before.
Will Jonah, Grey & Addie be able put the pieces together & solve the mystery of Addie’s dreams?
I’m looking forward to reading Ms. O’Malley’s next book in the series. Hoping to find if Addie’s stalker is who I think it is.
This series is so much fun to read. I love cozy mysteries and the series totally hits the spot. Well written and fun. I love Kimberly O’Mallery. I’m ready for more.
A story that is full of romance and suspense, making for a great read. One of Addie’s customer challenges her to help find out how an elderly man at the local senior center dies it starts the mystery. As Addie has dreams that she tries to decipher she fears on she will truly find. Top that with a stalker out to get her it creates so much trouble. This story had great characters and just the right amount of suspense to keep you on your toes.
Very descriptive writing grabs your attention from the very beginning and keeps you invested throughout this story. This is a cute, short read with mystery, intrigue and drama. This is the first book story in the series I have read, but I will definitely go back the previous ones.
Addie always is finding herself in the thickness of drama and death. With her hunk of a boyfriend trying to save her and best friend helping in her shenanigans, you never know what to expect. Another quick, fun read in the books for this series.
Addie, Grey and the aunties are at it again. Driving Jonah wild with worry. Mysteries and Death follow Addie wherever she goes. After a visit from an old patron of the Smiling Dogs Bookstore comes in and tell her about a mystery, Addie must help. Her stalker is still around and they are escalating. Jonah and Addie are trying to solve both mysteries. Addie is also in a relationship with Johan and things are going well as long as neither of the get killed.
I think this is my favorite Addie Foster book! Addie and Jonah are a cute couple. He’s all alpha protective and she is bubbly and I know I shouldn’t do this but I’m going to anyway when it comes to mysteries. Everyone needs a gay bff like Grey. He’s someone who you can depend on to be there and will always make you laugh. I love the 2 aunts who worry about her aging eggs lol and of course the two smiling dogs. The suspense is great and laughs are plenty in this one.
This is book 4 in the Addie Foster series, and I do recommend you read the series in order so that you aren’t confused. Adelaide “Addie” Foster has a stalker and it’s getting worse. From funeral looking flowers left by her front door, to a 3ft tall teddy bear left by her shop, all left with notes, but none signed. Neither she nor her boyfriend Jonah, nor her BFF Grey can figure out who’s leaving the items, or letters behind. There’s no fingerprints or saliva left either. They’re stumped, but Addie’s getting scared. Jonah and Grey are making sure she’s never left alone, and all three are working on a list of potential suspects.
Not only is that going on, but one of her dear customers, Mrs. Henry, came into the bookstore declaring that one of the other residents had been murdered and the home is covering it up. Then later on they find out that she’s in the hospital recovering from surgery on her wrist from a fall that she’s claiming wasn’t an accident. She’s claiming someone pushed her. When Addie goes to visit her, she’s attacked and injected with something. Will Jonah, and the rest of the Ocean Grove Police Department get there in time to save both Addie and Mrs. Henry?
It’s also Thanksgiving and the aunties are cooking up a feast to behold. I wish I could’ve been there with everyone because all the author described sounded fantastic. Grey is still my favorite, with two books left in the series I doubt this will change. I wish I had aunties like Clementine and Beatrice, they’re a hoot!
If you’re a fan of cozy mysteries, pick up a copy of the Addie Foster series, you’ll love ‘em.
I enjoyed the book, although the are a lot lot characters that are not really introduced. I did eventually feel that I knew them, but it was a bit confusing. I also didn’t care for the references to sex. I think that topic is always best left to the imagination. I also felt that the book left the reader hanging. There was only partial closure. I would like to read the next book just to find out what happens!
Just when Addie thinks things are getting back to normal, she starts having her nightmares again!! After an elderly man dies of ” natural causes” at a senior home, Addie starts getting gifts by her stalker! But with the help of her bff, and her boyfriend, detective Wolfe, Addie solves the mystery!
I can’t wait to see what comes next!!
Angel of Death (Addie Foster Book 4)
Kimberly O’Malley
This is the 4th book in this series, and I do believe that you should read them in order – mainly so you have more of the backstory of the main characters. And in some cases you really need that. However, I’m sure you could enjoy the book without reading all of them. While this may be a quick, short read, there is a lot going on in the book. Addie starts having her vivid dreams/nightmares again. Luckily she has Jonah with her to pick her up or give her a hug when they seem a little too lifelike or it hits closer to home. On top of the nightmares, she also has a stalker, who has upped the ante and is now including Jonah in the threats. The mystery of the dark hall, and the room gets resolved, but the stalker is still unknown. It has to be someone close to her, but who? I have my guesses, but I’m unsure if I’m correct. As always, Grey is so entertaining, as are the two Aunties! I love them, and holy cow – all the talk about the food they were having for Thanksgiving dinner, makes me hungry for Thanksgiving again. I am in love with these characters and this series. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
OMG!! Addie Foster is added Again!! ANGEL OF DEATH by Kimberley O’Malley is hilarious and witty with a Touch of Whodunit!!
This is Book #4 in the Cozy Mysteries Series and if you haven’t Read her other Books…then you are missing out!
Addie Foster has these “nightmares” that seem to comes true with a Twist in Real Life…well more Like HER LIFE!! It has Everything you can ask for in a suspenseful comedy thriller and can have you laughing out loud!!
Love this Book since I couldn’t not put it down and devoured it in one sitting!
I CANNOT WAIT for what Kimberley O’Malley has up her sleeve with the next one!!
Addie is still being stalked by the mysterious creeper and they are escalating with threatening Jonah. While Jonah is wanting to keep her safe, she is needed for some weirdness going on at the nursing home. Hitting close to home Aunties friend is involved and Addie is determined to solve it. This book had me questioning who are they able to trust. Something doesn’t sit right with someone I just can’t pinpoint it. This book was entertaining and kept me interested in finding out what happens next.
There is plenty going on for Addie she still has her creeper leaving gifts, she is having dreams of the rest home and she has been asked to look into a murder whether Jonah likes it or not. I liked how this one was a it tricky and hit closer to home due to involving Aunties friend, Grey always cracks me up and god bless Jonah for his patients. I am now doubting who we can trust within Addie and Jonah’s circle of friends in regards to the creeper, I was surprised who the killer and good golly was I hungry after all the Thanksgiving dinner talk!!
This is book 4 in the Addie Foster series by Kimberly O’Malley. You don’t have to read the first 3 books books but you will want to so you have the back story. Addie is starting to have nightmares again. She has her boyfriend, Jonah and her bff Grey to keep a watch on her. You can’t forget her quirky Auntie Clementine and Beatrice. I love these mystery series but not how fast they are. I couldn’t put it down.
Addie Foster is still trying to solve the mystery of her stalker and now the stalker has made threats upon not just her but her boyfriend and local cop Jonah. Meanwhile, residents of a local nursing home are having mysterious accidents. One of the residents, Mrs. Henry, is a customer in Addie’s bookstore and she begs Addie for help in proving the accidents are more than just accidents. When Mrs. Henry becomes an unfortunate victim of one of the accidents, Addie can’t help but get to the bottom of it, at the risk of her own life. Her vivid dreams that are always spot on premonitions, aren’t always clear on the outcome, so the risks are high. Will Addie finally have bitten off more than she can chew? Will she finally apprehend her stalker?
I’m not huge on mystery stories but I really enjoy Ms. O’Malley’s cozy mysteries. I’ve been following her Addy Foster Mystery series from the beginning. This is number four!
Addie, Grey and the aunts are on the road again. A friend of Addie’s wants her to help find out what happened to the elderly man. With a stalker, it adds mystery to the story. The story was great with enough suspense to cause you to want to finish the book. Great read.
