After the amazing dark story which is Lucca, I needed a light funny read and Angel did the work.
Angel is the fifth book in the Made Men Series and we follow our main character Adalyn (Lake’s best friend) and using Angel to her own advantage. I really enjoyed reading Adalyn and was so happy we get a book about her.
Angel is one of the Luciano siblings and is the twin of Matthias. He has been chosen as a captive by the Caruso’s after the events of Lucca.
I would say the relationship between Adalyn and Angel is ridiculously dorky and adorable. I really needed that type after reading a gritty book as Lucca.
I really did not like what Amo has done to Angel. I don’t think he deserved that, because he had nothing to do with what happened in Lucca. Amo really needs to redeem himself or I am going to hate him so much. How things have changed…..
We are also introduced to a new villain named One Shot who shoots his target in the head. Not anyone but shoots both Caruso and Luciano Men, so it’s really big!!!! In addition to that, the author said that we will know who One Shot is in Lucca 2 so he/she (but mostly he) will remain a mystery until then.
This book gets a 4 stars from me, and I will be reading Drago’s story finally!!!!!!!
Praise Jesus and tattoos. Angel saved this series for me; I was about to walk away. But thank your broken-and-evil stars! Angel brought a lightness to this series…which I somehow don’t understand (since so much evil and dark happened). But Adalyn was funny! She just rolled with the punches. She was the first heroine we’ve met that wasn’t afraid of any of the mafia men. And Angel, while broken and damaged (like everyone in this entire series!), was loyal and surprisingly sweet. A bit of a disappointment, my beautiful Amo was…not nice. Broken and mean. I’m curious to see how he earns his redemption, and that will be what keeps me reading. I’m too invested now!
I love this series and make sure I’m in the right frame and ready for this story and I’m so glad i waited.
From the finish of the previous book i wasn’t sure what direction this book was going to take us but i love how it all just flows and also gets us ready and hanging for the next book.
This book had us learn about Adalyn who i didn’t think we had much of in the previous books but her being best friends with Lake and Vincent’s sister we got all the characters from the previous books and i love this. Adalyn was feisty and honest and i really loved this character.
Angel even though he was a made men i felt sorry for him, it felt like throughout his whole life he had been trapped or never really knew what freedom was like and i don’t blame him for the way he turned out. He was a good character as well.
If you love this series you shouldnt be disappointed this is one of my favorites in this series loved it.
