This is the third book in the “Fallen Angel” series and it starts exactly where the previous book left us… with Viper and Halo declaring their love for one another in front of the entire world
For me, this book felt like a really long epilogue with all the good feels. It was filled with steamy goodness and fluffy scenes. There wasn’t really any angst in this one, at least not between the two of them.
Halo has to come clean with his family before the rest of the world informs them about their son’s love life, and Viper will be forced to face the past and let go.
Other than that Halo and his Angel are extremely happy and they can’t seem to keep their hands off one another for very long…which was a good thing for me
What had me most intrigued though was Killian’s wandering eye… He just can’t take his eyes off of “Fallen Angel’s” new manager Levi. I can’t wait for their story…I have been a huge Killian fan since the beginning !!! I hope he will be able to corrupt Levi into breaking his rules
If you are a fan of sweet and fluffy series with plenty of hot man on man action, then you should definitely give this series a try 😉
Goodness that book was awesome!!! Angel is the 3rd book and the conclusion to Halo and Viper’s love story. Once again the writing is awesome and the you will certainly not be disappointed. Great job by Brooke and Ella.
This story picks up in the most perfect place ever, Viper and Halo has just publicly declared their love for each other and the true journey begins. Their story draws you right in, the humor, the entertainment, the love between these two as well as all the other secondary characters is superb. While there were obstacles and challenges the true development of these characters by Brooke and Ella were brilliantly done. The conclusion to this series and the premier of Killan will have sitting on the edge of your seat in anticipation.
This series is totally recommended and all 3 books deserve more than 5 stars. Great job Brooke and Ella and can’t wait to see what you have in store for us with Killan.
Angel is finally here and it’s everything I hoped for and more! The end to Halo and Viper’s story completely blew me away. This is not a standalone story so if you haven’t read Halo and Viper, you must go back and read those first as Angel picks up in the middle of their relationship.
One thing that I truly loved about this series is watching the evolution of Viper. With each book, he blossomed more and more and in Angel, we see him truly happy and content. Halo brought out the best in him and both characters evolved beautifully. And I loved seeing Halo become who he was meant to be. He found success and he found true love and it lit him up from within. As Halo and Viper faced real-life issues, their love gave them the strength they needed to fight. Their relationship was beautiful and poignant and my heart continually melted as their love shone brightly.
Frank and Blaine hit all the right notes as they wrapped up Halo and Viper’s love story. I’m sad that their journey is over but was thrilled to learn that Killian will be getting the next book so Fallen Angel will continue. I can’t wait to read what’s in store for Kill!!! 5 stars
If you read the first two books in this serious, you have to read this one. Angel is sweet and sexy and is a really great look at what comes next for Viper and Halo. I absolutely loved watching them navigate their relationship in the public eye while dealing with the success of their band. There were so many great moments between Viper and Halo, but I think what I loved the most were the moments they shared with others. The scenes with Halo’s parents were great. The scenes with the band were fun and lighthearted.
I’ve really enjoyed falling in love with the men of Fallen Angel. I cannot wait for the books for the rest of the band. I absolutely love Killian, Jagger, and Slade. I loved the peek we got of Killian and his potential love interest. That is going to be one explosive book.
I highly recommend anything and everything written by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine. You can’t go wrong with these two amazing women.
“I’m a grumpy, temperamental bastard on my best day. And you? You’re like a burst of starlight across my dark, jaded soul”
All I have to say is Brooke and Ella did the thang with Viper and Halo’s happy ending. I mean come on, how can you not fall deeper in love with these two after you get down with reading this series. To see the journey these two went on in the quest to find love. To see Viper falling to knees and falling so deeply in love with Halo, even though he tried to fight it. You can’t fight the inevitable Viper. Then we have Halo who is so sweet, so caring, not that Viper isn’t, but he has this sensitive side to him that will leave you in puddles. Ella and Brooke did an awesome job man and I cannot wait for Killan’s book. I have a feeling as with the rest of the books these write it’s going to be a hot one.
True to the nature of the series so far, Angel was a mostly light-hearted, super sexy and ultimately satisfying resolution to Viper and Halo’s story.
I haven’t always had an easy time connecting to these two, and I still had some moments in this book but I will say that for me – this was the most satisfying of them all. I enjoyed watching these Viper and Halo settle into coupledom. I enjoyed watching them navigate the bumps and curveballs they encountered as they balanced the newfound success of their essentially new band, Halo embracing fame, and – of course – learning how to love each other.
This is a quick and easy read. There’s not a ton of depth here, but it’s light and fun and – well, sexy as all get out. I enjoyed the set-up for the continuation of the series and cannot wait for Killian’s story!
Angel is the conclusion to Halo and Viper’s story and Brooke & Ella did not disappoint!
It picks up from where Viper left off. Now that they have admitted their love to each other, we see how they deal with their new relationship and the band (best band mates ever!). We see such a vulnerable side to Viper that we haven’t seen before and I loved that he let his guard down. I love that Halo was true to himself and can I just say that he has the most amazing support system in his parents and sister Imogen?
From beginning to end, I was hooked. Between the sexy times and the building of their relationship, I fell in love with them more and more.
Can we talk about that awesome ending and that epilogue? Bring on Killian!!!
Angel is the prefect conclusion to this 5-star trilogy by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine. Wow!! I wish I could give this one more than 5-stars, because it was beyond engrossing, and simply put, just a perfectly told story about not only a newly formed rock band, but also a newly blossomed romance between Viper and Halo. Simply amazing!! What a coming out they all had!! Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine brilliantly showed the obstacles and challenges, as well as the successes and love of a new band and a new couple all at the same time. Now, after reading that epilogue, I am so ready for Killian’s book!!! Yet another fantastic book by told by two brilliant storytellers. Well done, Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine.
Angel is the third book in the Fallen Angel series and concludes Halo and Viper’s story; And what an epic and satisfying finale it was. I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. Angel has all the explosive chemistry and passion that we have come to expect from these two rockstars, but we also see a vulnerability that we haven’t seen before. I loved seeing a different side to Viper and it made me love him even more. He still has one heck of a filthy, unfiltered mouth and is still possessive over Halo, but something has definitely changed within him. It’s obvious he is in love with Halo but confused as to how someone as pure and beautiful and talented as Halo could love him back. Halo and Viper are all in in this book, but pressures from the music industry and their newly outted relationship definitely keep the narrative flowing. It was heartwarming to see both men getting closer and closer, in a romantic and good way. There are some very delicious and satisfying encounters, full of passion and sensuality, as well as some vulnerable moments between the two. This book was captivating all the way from that sexy cover to the very end when I definitely didn’t want Angel to end. I cannot wait for Killian and Levi’s book! Thanks Brooke and Ella for another amazing, appealing, sexy book to fall in love with!
I absolutely loved this book. This is just the start of Fallen Angel but this book concretes Halo and Vipers relationship. We see how much these two are meant for one another and we also see how they are both 100% into each other. This book had such deep feelings and emotions. I’m obsessed with this series. Can’t wait for more.
Highly recommended.
You don’t want to miss this epic conclusion. It really is one of the best series I’ve read. If you love M/M books, these are absolute must reads! From the first book until now, I just fell for not only the chemistry between Halo and Viper but also the heart they share. I wish there were so many more books as I just can’t get enough 🙂 Think they can call me the fallen angel ‘cuz I really fell for these guys! Brilliant series!
After fnally announcing his love for Halo in a very public way, Viper is even more determined to make Halo see that he’s the only man for him. But not everyone has the best intentions for them and they’ll have to try and get a step ahead of the press to not have the band take the backseat… With a new manager and a stadium tour coming closer each day, they are flying higher than ever but keeping their feet steady on the ground. With fame comes pressure, press and awards… but through it all, will Halo and Viper withstand all that is yet to come?…
*Sigh* It’s hard to believe that it’s only been three months since I stumbled across Halo, the first book in this trio, but the end is already here. And oh what an end it was.
When I first read about Halo and Viper, I was in instant lust. The chemistry was bleeding off the pages and steaming up the atmosphere. Now though, the true story of two people falling in love has captured my heart, and I know these heroes will stay on my re-read list for years to come.
Angel concludes Halo and Vipers story bringing all the hot sexy rockstar moments along with swoon-worthy romance that had my insides melting.
I’ve loved watching Viper grow from a guarded, maybe even a little bitter, man, to someone who not only is open to love but embraces it at every turn. Halo has had growth as well over the past three books, and his charm continues in spades.
Thank you Brooke and Ella, for all the sleepless nights pouring over your words and allowing us to experience Halo and Vipers story.
PS- This won’t be the last time we will see Halo and Viper. The Fallen Angels will be back in Killian’s story which will release sometime this year!
What an absolute perfect ending to the story of Halo and Viper. Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine have wonderfully captured the beauty of loving another human and allowing yourself to be loved in return. The chemistry between these two men was electric. It was palpable; a live breathing thing that was magical to witness. But in addition, their fears were laid bare too. Their hopes, dreams, insecurities, vulnerabilities, all of it. I truly fell head over heels for these two and their band mates. One of my hands down favorite series and I can’t wait for more from this world.
3.5*
Angel was a sweet, satisfying conclusion to the love story of Halo and Viper. It’s not the end of Fallen Angel though, so we’ll definitely be seeing more of these guys.
I liked that we got to see a more “human” side to Viper in this book. I had a hard time with his character in Halo, he grew on me in Viper, and with Angel he finally became likable, at least for me. Viper showed a little vulnerability, which went a long way in helping change my feelings towards him. I felt like I was able to trust that he really did love Halo, that he wasn’t just a conquest for him. I adored Halo from the moment we met him, and nothing’s changed with that. He’s an endearing character and I loved seeing his reactions to how his life was changing.
Things moved pretty quickly in this book, it was a very low angst and easy read. It did feel like certain things were resolved a little too quickly, a little too easily. Conflict that I was expecting to happen, didn’t, and that was kind of surprising, honestly. It almost felt like a missed opportunity, but it was in keeping with the low drama of the story.
Clearly in the minority here, I wasn’t pleased with this last book in the Fallen Angel series. As another reviewer said and were my feelings as well, Angel read like one long epilogue. There is zero angst and although it was sweet to see Viper and Halo so happy after Viper’s big admission at the end of book two, I’m not sure why an entire book had to be written to showcase their love.
Even the big reveal to Halo’s parents fell flat and although I deliberately shied away from comparing this series to the Temptation series, the similarities are too great and at least that group of books had real angst and real reactions to Tate finding love with a man. Angel, to be honest, reminded me of my disappointment with Trust.
Everything was just too easy in Angel. As great as it is to see the band reach mega success and the world accept that the lead guitarist and lead singer are hopelessly in love, an extended epilogue at the end of Viper would have been enough.
Frank and Blaine write well together once again but I’m hoping that whatever they deliver next, packs more of a punch for me.
2.5 stars.
This is the third book in the Fallen Angel series and it brings us Halo and Viper’s HEA.
I loved the previous books and this one wasn’t an exception. It gives us more details about Halo/Angel and Viper’s relationship now they are finally a couple in front of the whole world and not hiding anymore.
Call me crazy but I loved Viper and for some reason, I found him really interesting. He was extremely arrogant, full of himself, temperamental and pretty rude sometimes, well the actual bad boy with a sharp mind and tongue, a very bad attitude, but well he was a rock god. Moody doesn’t even cover it.
Halo seemed pretty… lost to me. Too nice, too cute. Too angel for my taste. Always blushing, never truly believing he’s now part of a super famous band. Again, call me crazy but he didn’t feel real to me. I mean, no matter how hard it may seem, he just had to get used to his new life AND being in a relationship with no other than Viper – the bad boy!
This story was really HOT!!! Well, all previous books were, but this one was even more. On every level. Hotter and sweeter. I can’t say we get angst, only a little insecurity from Viper (which was pretty odd). I am not really a fan of sweeter than honey stories, but we really get a nice ending to this love story.
“Angel, if tonight was my last night here on earth, even heaven couldn’t fucking top this.”
I’ve read it in one sitting and I got really curious about Killian’s own story that we’ll get next. The epilogue got me so excited! What’s best than breaking the rules?!
I highly recommend this series!

5 Stars!!!
This was the perfect ending to this portion of the series! Not only did we get to see Halo and Viper stronger than ever, but now after all the teasing teasers and that epilogue, I simply can’t wait for Killian’s story!
Angel was very low angst, and what little there was of it was mostly from outside sources and not Halo and Viper. I adored seeing them together, bringing the best in each other. I swear I swooned every time that Viper couldn’t help himself from being sweet to Halo, the love just radiated from him and the best part? It was fully reciprocated. It could’ve easily turned into a mush fest, but Ella and Brooke found a great balance between the sweetness and the hotter than hot sex and gave us something that felt real and everlasting.
All those moments of Halo and Viper interacting with the rest of the band were epic and so much fun! I can’t wait to see more of all of them and Jagger (who I’m very curious about) in the next installment(s) of the series.
Overall, definitely a worthy ending to Viper and Halo’s story, with the promise from the authors that we’ll be seeing more of them when they are ready to share Killian’s book with us. Definitely a must-read and if you’ve been waiting for this book to hit the stores to binge read the series, go and do it now, you’ll regret it if you don’t.

Wowwwww! Halo and Viper are one of my top 5 fave couples EVER!! These two bring the HEAT, along with a healthy dose of love and wit. I simply adored these books and can’t wait to catch glimpses of them in future books set in this world… namely, Killian and Levi’s story! I’m reaaaaaallly looking forward to diving into Killian’s character and getting to know him!! Love the whole band!! And Imogen!!
4.5 stars This one is for all those who are hungry for love and sexy romance.
The story Angel is the continuation of the Fallen Angel series Halo #1 and Viper #2 and it runs seamlessly over. With Angel #3 we can follow Halo and Viper’s relationship, both members of the band Fallen Angel.
Halo and Viper are going strong together. We see Viper as never before. Still with his filthy rude mouth and still possessive as hell, only something changed. It’s obvious he is madly in love and confused, he can’t believe his luck, that someone beautiful and talented as Angel could love him back.
Angel seems to be the only one with some influence on Viper, and all for the better.
When they have their steamy private moments and even go on a real date, it’s glorious to watch them together. Viper in love is something unique, to see him in this state is endearing.
The tour for the band is one big hit and with their new hot manager Levi, everything seems to run even smoother. When some nasty things happen, Viper loses his faith.
I loved this continuation, I loved Angel and his always easy-going attitude. I loved how Viper finds some peace in his soul. It was heartwarming to watch both men getting closer and closer, in a highly romantic way, the good kind.
There are some delicious encounters, full of passion and intense sensuality.
The vivid and vigorous way of writing made this story into an appealing read, just the way I like it!
We get a preview of book #4 and oh boy, Killian has eyes for a hot man!!
Music connects!
Definitely not a stand alone.
The third and final book of the Fallen Angel trilogy wrapped up nicely with a big bow on top. I found Viper and Halo to be very interesting characters as was their developing relationship that concluded as one would hope. As you would expect, steamy and sensual.
The band is a hoot and leaves a lot of room for more stories to create. Who’s up next?
