There is a reason that And Then There Were None was voted one of the top 100 novels in The Great American Read. Without the epilogue at the end, one would never figure out who was guilty. Christie once said it was the hardest novel she ever wrote, and it’s been through several renditions. It’s great fun. I did have to keep notes on who the ten …
The quintessential murder mystery. Very quick read.
Loved this book. I thought I had it all figured out, several times, but I was wrong. Fun, quick read. Wish it had lasted longer.
I love this book – and all of her works. I have the same copies for years – the oldest being about 40yo. I always find something new when I re-read these
Mystery who done it’s just aren’t my thing. I don’t like any book where I have to switch from one character to another and try to remember what their history was. I know this is a classic but I didn’t enjoy it and stopped reading it after the first third.
Very suspenseful whodunit, even if Raymond Chandler, one of my favorites, was correct in his assessment of it.
Christie was a master. Hard to put her books down
The classic whodunit, required reading
One of the most inventive whodunnits ever written. The mystery all other mysteries want to be.
Another great Agatha Christie mystery!
I have yet to find a more accomplished story teller than the great Agatha! She is my standard bearer, and very difficult to live up to!
This is about 10 people invited to an isolated island for a house party and are killed off one by one. It’s well written (as are all Christie’s books), keeps you guessing and has a fantastic ending. She provides the solution to the mystery in the end but it has you guessing till the last guest is gone.
I am new to Agatha and it really had me turning pages but then going back and re-reading to see what I had missed. Great read.
It is not possible to dislike this book!
I think it’s one of Christie’s BEST. A true mystery. Don’t spoil it for others.
An Agatha Christie classic – a bit dated now, but fun to read.
very hard to follow, wouldn’t recommend it
My favorite Agatha Christie book! Highly recommend!
I had never really read many of Agatha Christie’s books but have decided to do so & find them entertaining & fun. She was before her time of course.
It was hard to get into this book. It was slow reading.
