A good read
This was assigned to. 7th grade English class. I have the slower learners in this class. Once we sorted out the characters, and made pictures of them, they had a great time matching the poem to each’s demise. They enjoyed making predictions about who would be next and who the murderer was. I’ve never seen slow learners get into a book like …
I read this when I was about 11 years old. It scared the heck out of me even though I was reading it in broad daylight! I’ve never forgotten it.
Agatha Christie was the foremost author of great mysteries. Her books are so original and I can’t put them down once I begin. No one has been able to match her wit and malice. She is the Queen of Mystery. Any one of her books will be a certain winner in your library. She is, by far, the best.
No one does a mystery like Dame Agatha! One of her most famous stories, I love reading it every so often. What an amazing woman she was!
I love books in which I am stumped until the last minute. This is one of those books. Characters are guilty but are the deserving of death? And who is killing them off?
This is the first Agatha Christie book I ever read, which was back in high school. The intricate plot and the twist at the end made me a life-long Christie fan.
One my favorites of hers.
This is an Agatha Christie classic about a group of 10 people lured to Indian Island by an various pretext. Once they are gathered in the house, they are prompted to listen to a gramaphone recording in which all of the people in the group are accused of murdering someone. They have all escaped punishment for their crimes. The group quickly …
I still think she cheated at the end but still a good book
One of Christie’s finer entries!
It has a real O’Henry ending. Totally unexpected and I could not put it down
The Queen of mystery does it again. One of her best.
A classic that I have read several times.
I love Agatha Christie and this is one of hers you can’t tell the ending.
This book is the inspiration for movies and plays.
It’s Agatha Christie – what more needs to be said
Read this many years ago
I have read most of Agatha Christie’s books and this is my favorite due to the ending. You don’t see it coming!
Dame Agatha is the best. Her plot twists make every book an adventure.
