Written like your favorite drama television show, the Palm South University series has been called “a mix of Greek meets Gossip Girl with a dash of Friends.” Follow seven college students as they maneuver unrequited love, teacher/student romance, the tangles of “no strings” relationships, love triangles and more. Each “season” has six “episodes,” and just like when your favorite show hits … Netflix, you can read just one episode at a time or binge the entire thing. With the perfect mix of angst, emotional romance, and romantic comedy, the Palm South University series is your next guilty addiction.
Drama. Lies. Sex.
Welcome to Palm South University.
The weather isn’t the only thing heating up in South Florida. At a school where fraternities and sororities don’t exactly play by the rules, relationships are bound to be tested. Parties and sex are definitely key ingredients in the Palm South recipe, but what happens when family issues, secret lives, and unrequited love get tossed in the mix?
Follow Cassie, Bear, Jess, Skyler, Erin, Ashlei, and Adam as they tackle college at a small, private beach town university. Written in television drama form, each episode of this serial will pull you deeper and deeper into the world of PSU.
Where the sun is hot and the clothes are scarce, anything can happen.

I feel like these girls are a part of my life and these guys my crushes, that’s how well this series pulls you in. So many feels again this book. Poor Ashlei and all her struggles. And Erin. Man. I can’t help but want to hug them!
“The timing isn’t right,” I whisper again. He snaps his eye to mine again. “What if you fall in love with him?” His hands fly up. “Don’t answer that.” And I don’t, because the truth is, I could.
Anchor book 2 in The Palm South University Series. If you’re looking for a college romance series to dive into, this is a great go to book series. Even though I just finished book 2, I can’t help but be drawn to these characters. Anchor focuses on each and every character but I’m drawn more towards Bear & Erin and Adam & Cassie in this book. My heart hopes that these 2 relationships evolve over the next 5 books.
These books are written like your favorite drama/reality television show so hang on tight to your heart because things change in a blink of an eye.
If you haven’t read Rush you need to before starting this one.
I am becoming slightly more invested in this group of Students. I’m struggling with Cassie though as she is way too whiney. I do have favourite couples I am seriously rooting for i.e Adam and Jess but I am honestly enjoying watching this groups dynamics and relationships grow and change.
This one covers harder topics, the darker side of University and life but is handled well.
I am looking forward to see what happens in the next Season.
This book touches on a lot of delicate topics. Being honest and true with yourself and others will open up so much. Being scared and afraid to tell people will hold you back from truly finding happiness with your sisters. This covers Spring Break, which is basically what happens at spring break stays at Spring Break unless you make a stupid decision, which includes kissing another boy or having a threesome that gets videotaped and ruins things. It also covers more important topics like dating outside your race and hiding it from your parents, rape and opening up about being bi sexual. This one pulled on the heartstrings. My heart really went to Erin and Bear the most. I mean, both were dealing with a lot of tough issues but will come out stronger or that’s my hope. I will say I love Jess and Jarrett. They are my favorite couple right now. Cassie and Adam obviously have something but Grayson and her are cute as well. Also I’m waiting on the whole Erin and Bear getting actually together as a couple. There’s respect and love between them but there’s also the elephant in the room as well. This book captivated me and sucked me down the rabbit hole. I couldn’t put it down at all. These books just keep getting better and better. They bring the drama but deep down they all really care about each other.
Wow, okay, I’m officially obsessed. It took a little more than a year for me to get to this installment, but right now, I’m so hooked I have no idea why I stopped at book one in the first place. This series started off as a drama-filled guilty pleasure read, but LET ME TELL YOU! It’s so much more than that. This season of PSU in particular was emotional and covered some very heavy topics. There were many times where my heart just HURT. I never would’ve imagined how attached I’d feel to 6 very different characters. These books have surprised me so, so much. They’re beyond addicting and I can’t wait to see what happens in installment 3!
I thought it would be a mistake to pick this up since it’s been so long since I picked up volume one of this (before the cover and name change: nice work BTW) But I remembered everything as soon as I started reading. This was such a quick and easy read. Even with all the angst and silliness. CW in this for sexual assault.

Now I’m addicted
I would say Kandi Steiner upped her game and now I’m addicted but she always has game. Anchor is far more intense though. Flirty, sexy, and sweet…yes. Serious, problematic, and nerve-wracking…also a yes.
Kandi Steiner takes us on multiple paths to the same points. Friends on a journey. Not always on the same path but thankfully, they tend to wind up in the same destination. Just with lots of hot, tempting fun on the way.
I love the complexities of the multi POV and the way the form the whole story. I thought at first I would merely tolerate it but I am loving the way it comes together.
Love Palm South University!
This ongoing college series has me hooked! Book two is not for the faint of heart. The book continues to follow the lives of sorority sisters and fraternity brothers through their college years. The characters are wonderful and always there for each other when times get tough and this book in particular has some very rough times. It’s very angsty at times yet lighthearted at others. Bring on book 3!
Back for another semester at palm south university, this series is fast becoming my own guilty pleasure and I love it…
I’m loving this series its full of all the angst and drama we come to expect but also tackles some of the more heartbreaking situations that leave your heart aching and a lump in your throat, these characters are definitely leaving there stamp on me.
This series is getting better and better as we get more invested in the lives of the brothers and sisters and I can wait to continue.
Kandi Steiner I devoured Season 2 just as quickly as Season 1. Season 2 was filled with even more angst, lies, and betrayal than the first. I loved seeing all my favourite characters experiencing break-ups and make-ups, hook-ups and flings, it made them feel more real.
Overall, season 2 had a little bit of everything topped with the usual fun, partying, and drinking!
I can’t wait to ride the emotions season 3 will be us.
Addicting! Addicting! Addicting!! All the different storylines pulls you in and won’t let you go! Definitely a roller coaster ride of emotions in this installment. Can’t wait to read book 3.
I enjoyed this book a lot more with the plots growing for each of the characters.
I loved what some of them over came but my heart broke for Erin. If only she shared what she was going through with one of her sisters.
Now to start book 3!
In the second book in the PSU series, we follow the same students through their spring semester. In this book we are still following Cassie, Bear, Jess, Skyler, Erin, Ashlei, and Adam, but this time we delve deeper into relationships, tackle tough issues, and take the students on spring break.
Anchor still follows the same formula of six episodes with shifting POV’s and is still like watching your favorite TV drama, but this time time around Kandi throws her characters into some really tough situations.
I’m completely addicted to find out how some of them are going to get out of the hot water they have found themselves in or the relationship mess they are now in. This entire series is a new obsession I’m loving to read.
Season 2 stars with all the characters we love. We get now finding the characters evolving, getting a bit more mature, but not everything is perfect, we now find them struggling with some things like lies and betrayals. This just keeps getting better and better.
Oh boy!! The college drama series goes on.. and it goes deep!
Gah, I want to dole out some hugs for everyone in this book. A lot of pain, and angst, among the sisterhood of this series.
You can’t possibly stop yourself from racing through it all.
Another great season in the Palm South University series.
I‘m still a little shocked about the events that happened in this book. I fell in love with all our characters in season 1 but now I feel like I‘m in the same boat as them.
The love between our female characters is just amazing. I don‘t know how to discribe it, but it really is and feels like a sisterhood that will last through and long after college.
I‘m shipping Adam and Cassie soo hard! If they don‘t end up together I might cry! Also Erin and Bear are so cute together, but I think both of them will end up as friends. I‘m curious to see what comes next wirh every character!

The drama, angst, and steam are ratcheted up considerably as things start to heat up at Palm South University (PSU) in Anchor, Book #2 in the PSU Series. As the 2nd semester begins, true colors are shown, friendships and relationships are tested, lines are crossed, big secrets are being kept. The thing about lies and secrets kept in the dark is, they always come to light. When they do, some have devastating consequences. One thing for sure is that things will never be the same. There are definitely heavy and heartbreaking things that go on, a lot of growing pains, and painful lessons are learned. Mix in Spring Break, and anything can happen.
These books are told as if they are a TV drama series. This is Book #2 from Box #1 of the Palm South University Series. I was totally hooked with Anchor. It really grabs your emotions as you become invested in each of these characters. They are so different but I loved them all. You feel as if you are feeling each heartbreak, loss, and triumph with them. The plot is engaging. The action starts from the beginning and doesn’t let up. There are potential triggers in this book that may be difficult for some. I thought the author did a wonderful job of writing these subjects and what happens in the fallout. I can’t wait to see what happens in Pledge, Book #3! I’m sure that it only gets better from here.
Great read! More intense drama! I must continue the series to see what happens.
I cannot get enough of PSU! The life, the characters, the sororities, and fraternities. The world that Kandi Steiner created has become addicting! I can understand why this was referenced to Gossip Girl. I’m a huge Gossip Girl fan so I’m in love with this series. As I read this series, I can tell that I did not live it up in college! Granted, I’ve been with the same man for 16 years so that would have been inappropriate but I’m sad I even missed out on some of the partying. Don’t get me wrong, this book is more than partying and sex, although it has it in spades. It has friendship, love, and feeling. The writing pulls you in and makes you feel apart of this crowd. Kandi truly has a gift. I can’t wait for the next one.

It’s hard to believe, but this season was even more gripping than the last! This series just keeps better and better and I can’t wait for more! On to Season 3!!!
