Short & Sweet Paranormal Romance with Supernatural Suspense
This is the fourth book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series. Much like on television, each episode contains a complete sweet paranormal romance and supernatural murder mystery. But the crossover characters and larger story suggest reading these in order.

An Unexpected Sequel is the fourth book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series.
In this story, we finally get to know Robin. She is mentioned in previous books but you don’t really get to know her or her backstory until this book. Up until now Robin has been portrayed as a character with shady intentions, but things aren’t always what they seem. When Robin finds love, her deal with a demon threatens the budding romance. Faced with danger, not only to herself but to her love, Robin has to swallow her pride and ask for help from Catherine. In the course of the adventure, Robin re-discovers something she thought she lost.
This book doesn’t have as much humor as the previous books do, but it is still excellent. I am looking forward to the next part of the adventure. After all, we still have to figure out what Barbara is up to.

Ahhhhh this book was just so good and so easy to get lost in. I just absolutely loved getting to go back into this world and see all these amazing characters. I will most definitely be reading the next book in the series.
Well she’s in trouble now, the demon ( Barbara Knollman), she has made a deal with has asked her to kill someone. Robin just can’t do it so now what. She’ll have to face the consequences but really how bad can it be?
This is book four of the Paranormal Talent Agency series and it is a great paranormal cozy mystery. Filled with wonderfully colourful and interesting characters, descriptive narrative, and great dialogue, it certainly keeps you interested. The storyline , while easy to read, is filled with surprises, twists.and turns as they race against time to discover the murderer. This is the first book I read in the series and can’t wait to read more.

I give An Unexpected Sequel (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 4) by Heather Silvio, 4 stars.
Robin is a minion for a low level demon in Las Vegas. The demon got her out of a bad time in her life and she is grateful for that. Most in the supernatural community know who she works for and avoids her. But she has accepted her fate. Until the demon asks something of her that she cannot do — kill someone named Jackson. After she meets him, she is even more sure that she cannot do it. But what will be the cost of refusing? And this attraction between Robin and Jackson — is it real? Does he feel the same?
This is the fourth book in the series, and if you have read any of the books before, you will remember Robin. I admit, I didn’t really have an interest in knowing more about her. However, once I started reading this book, I could not stop! There is much more to Robin than what I previously thought. But this is not just about her. There is plenty of action also going on, not to mention Jackson is an interesting character himself.
This book fits in wonderfully with the series. It can be read as a standalone, but you will understand so much more if you read books 1-3 first. I highly recommend this book is you like fun paranormal romance with some action thrown in.
Our heroine made a deal to save her bacon. Now she is having second (and third and fourth) thoughts. Can she find a way out of this mess?
This is the fourth book in the series. While the story is self contained, it reads much better if you have the background to understand how we got to this point. I recommend reading the books in order.
The story itself is well written and very enjoyable. I have enjoyed each of the books so far and this one is no exception. The characters are fun and unique, and the story flows very nicely. I found it to be an easy and enjoyable read and I am looking forward to more books in this series.
Highly recommended.

An Unexpected Sequel (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 4) by Heather Silvio is a paranormal/romantic fantasy. Each story in this series is linked in some way to the Paranormal Talent Agency. Heather Silvio is imaginative and creative in her characters and the story lines that follow them in this crazy locale! In An Unexpected Sequel, Robin Landon and Jackson McKee star front and center stage. The suspense added in holds bar with what has been delivered in previous books, but it uniquely set apart to keep this story entertaining and a page turner. Romantic suspense stories are always an engaging read, adding in a paranormal twist and Heather Silvio has provided a well worthy read that will have you tucking away in a corner to read this story, as well as, the remainder of the series.
An Unexpected Sequel (Paranormal Talent Agency #4) by Heather Silvio was a fast pace, fun, quirky ride, that had me hooked from start to finish.
The fourth book in this wonderful series, we finally get to see the whole deal with Robin, who was first introduced in the first book. This was a great highlight, and it really changes your mind of her, and the shirt story she’s had to endure. It also brings to light what Barbara really is, how evil, and what her dark plans have bene all along. In saying all this, I highly suggest reading this series in order, as something big happens in the last book, that not only sets the stage for this one, it sets the stage for what nasty Barbara has planned.
Overall this book was the perfect addition. We get old and new characters, and love how this one ties in well with the first book, almost like full circle, but not quite. I’m hoping for more books, because I am addicted to these short but powerful reads. Well written, detailed, and super enjoyable, theres nothing I don’t like about this book, or this series.
So to end, as to not slip up and spoil anything, I’ll leave you with my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.
Happy Reading
-E.A. Walsh

An Unexpected Sequel (Paranormal Talent Agency #4) by Heather Silvio was just as a fun read as the other three. I do think you should read the other three books in the series just so everything makes sense. Overall I liked the book. I thought it was fun and flowed well. I like the author’s style and have enjoyed each book of hers. I wasn’t a fan of Robin but felt she redeemed herself some in this book. 4 star rating
Robin is a witch who signed a pact with a demon and is now a demons minion. She is order to kill Jackson, but refuses and ends up on the hit list too.

Robin who previously made a deal with a demon is told she must kill Jackson McKee. However she is reluctant to do so and even refuses after meeting the man. I had a hard time getting into the story but warmed up to it as it went on further. I believe I would have enjoyed it better had I already read the first three in the series. I plan to go back and check out the others first then maybe reread this one see if it will sit better with me. Until then this was just a mediocre read for me.

Such a great fourth book in this series as usual nothing to complain about because it is so awesome. The characters are well written and the storyline is intriguing. Robin finally finds someone she likes but the demon who she made the deal with wants her to kill Jackson and she says no and she comes up with a plan to keep her business, herself and Jackson alive. Awesome awesomeness.

I love that we get to see the ‘other side’ this time. After watching over the shoulder of Catherine and her PTA crew, it’s fascinating to see what the competition is up to. I had gotten so used to Robin as the enemy. That meant I both loved and hated seeing her as the heroine of this story. I really enjoyed learning more about the witches of Las Vegas. And now I’m looking forward to seeing what’s really going on with their resident demonling.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
Robin was a demon minion. Not some I want to be a bad girl, let’s rock it connection. More of I am an orphan with basically no extended family or friends and no guidance. My magic scares me. The demon can help bind it, sort of an arrangement.
Councilwoman Barbara has been following her visions and exposing supernaturals to the world, and not much changed for them with humans.
For five years, Robin has been little more than a gopher for Barbara. Now Barbara gets a vision that tells her that her plans will not go as she hopes if Jackson lives.
Defining choices, and chances for new and different opportunities lie ahead if Robin can make the leap of faith and trust herself, her instincts and her possible new friends.

Five years ago, Robin Landon, made a deal with Councilwoman Barbara Knollman, whom is now ready to collect. Barbara is a low-level demon that wants Robin to eliminate someone by the name of Jackson McKee. Robin is not a murderer, but she decides she wants to find this Jackson McKee and find out why Barbara could want him dead. One look at Jackson and Robin finds herself a bit head over heels and refusing to commit murder. When she refuses the order to kill, a replacement hitman is hired and Barbara must form an alliance with Catherine from the Paranormal Talent Agency to keep alive.
This is the fourth book in a wonderful new series. While each “episode” can be read as a stand-alone, there are crossovers and background story from the previous books, so I would suggest reading them all and in order. This book is a great combination of a paranormal romance and mystery with a touch of humor and lots of twists and turns. I can’t wait for number 5 to be released in 2019.

Robin Landon, the founder and owner of Landon Talent Agency, made a deal five years ago with Councilwoman Barbara Knollman, a low-level demon and head of the Las Vegas City Council. Her orders this time, however, were to shut down her agency and “eliminate” someone named Jackson McKee! He was going to be a cameraman on “Forbidden Island”, so Robin used that information to suggest keeping her agency open since she would then have a reason to be on set. Barbara grudgingly agreed to keep the agency open but would tell her nothing more about the victim other than that he was a human with abilities. She had one week to kill him.
Wanting to meet the man she was supposed to kill, Robin went to the “Forbidden Island” set. For some reason, she was drawn to Jack. Just looking at him gave her a jolt of desire! Before she chickened out, she invited him to lunch the next day, though she wasn’t sure why. She enjoyed herself and he invited her to dinner. She went back to Barbara to against ask why she wanted him killed. Regardless of the answer, which she didn’t get anyway, she told Barbara she would not kill Jackson.
As they walked across the parking lot to the restaurant, Jackson suddenly tensed and pushed her down, covering her body with his. A glowing light shimmered around them and as the light fixture in the parking lot exploded and fell toward them, everything bounced off harmlessly! They should have been killed but were unharmed! They went back to her house and he admitted he was a witch with protection magic. He had felt the attack coming but wasn’t sure which of them was the target. Since he revealed that he had felt his magic was needed to protect her when he first met her, she was upset to conclude his interest in her was apparently not romantic after all. Hurt, she hustled him out of her house and didn’t tell him about Barbara wanting him killed. Now maybe both of them are being hunted? She was going to need help against the black magic.
To save Jackson and herself, Robin feels she has to put aside her pride and go to Catherine Rodham from the Paranormal Talent Agency for help. Catherine, Mia, Evie, and Robin met so she could tell them what was going on. By the end of the conversation, they put aside their differences and were on-board with helping her. Part of the plan was telling Barbara she changed her mind and would kill Jackson. But despite this, Barbara said she was keeping the other assassin as well to be sure the job is carried out. So the danger was still out there and both of them were targeted! Will the Paranormal Talent Agency team be able to save Jackson? Will the Witches Council help Robin to somehow break the pact with Barbara and to unbind her powers? There were only three days left to make this happen!
This book was so good! The story line was perfect and moved along at a quick pace. The characters were very well developed and even managed to change before the reader’s eyes as they worked together and developed a new appreciation for each other. The suspense kept the reader motivated to find out who the black magic witch was, with the tension maintained about whether Robin could break the contract with the demon. Don’t miss the excitement of this book! It’s a definite keeper!
If you have not already read the first three books in this series, I highly recommend reading them. An Unexpected Sequel is the fourth book in the series. Heather Silvio’s books keeps getting better. One thing I liked about her stories is they are quick reads. There is a bit of suspense filled in the pages so you want to make sure you are paying attention to the details. In this book we learn about Robin and Jackson. Robin made a deal with a demon which made her a servant of the demon’s bidding. One day the demon told her that she was supposed to kill Jackson McKee. There was a problem with this order she has feelings for Jackson. Now she is trying to figure out how to disobey the demon. Robin turns toward the Paranormal Talent Agency. Will Robin figure out how to disobey the demon? Will she confess her feelings to Jackson? You need to read the story to find out the answer to these questions.
