Welcome to Cedarville! Where you’ll fall in love when you least expect it. After a traumatic few years, Leah picks up and moves to the small lake town of Cedarville Ohio. Ready to finally find herself – possibly for the first time – she joins her friends and together they open a new business in town. She never expected to love Cedarville so much nor did she expect her heart to fall for the HOT AS … the HOT AS SIN police chief, Brandon. But when someone from her past starts causing problems for her in her new home, she has no choice but to put her trust, and her heart, in Brandon’s hands to keep her and her friends safe.

Really enjoyed this story.t three friends from college decide to open a dance studio in a small town that two of them are from. One has had a lot going on in her life and is moving to find herself. The first ten minutes in town she meets the hottest guy she’s ever seen. She thought she could escape her past but it follows her. There are a lot of twists in the story and well worth the read. I am looking forward to the rest of the series
A great small town romance. Small towns are awesome because everyone is always in your business and it makes for funny times. In this case the hunky Chief makes it worth it as Brandon and the new chic in town Leah who just happens to be his cousins room mate. Even though I am not a big fan of insta love I do enjoy one that at least comes with a good story and this story is pretty good, with loads of hot steamy scenes since these two can’t keep their hands to themselves. But this isn’t just about those two and the drama Leah brings with her, there is more with the antics of room mates and brothers and friends. Loads of laughter and good times had by all.
Good Plot – Graphic Sex
This story has an exceptionally good plot. Unfortunately, there is a lot of graphic sex that caused me to skip about a third of the book. This writer is skilled at her craft and did not need to resort to smut to fill the pages. For that reason alone, I will not be buying anymore of her books. Unless, of course, she starts releasing clean and smutty versions of the same book. Hint, Hint.
Leah has lived a good life … until it turns out her father and uncle have funded that life by cheating people and her life suffers by association – until her college friends take her in. But, her past has managed to follow her and attempts to mess up her new start. The book has a super fast rush to a relationship with the acting Chief of Police/friend’s cousin. Better would have been to take more time and depth of development for that instead of a fast rush to sex scenes. Good was the development and bits about the friends relationships and about the town. Seriously needed better editing as some of the grammar errors were quite distracting.
Loved it!
Great love story that shows the power of friendships and new beginnings. In Leah’s quest to find herself, she finds so much more. Friends who stuck by her thru thick and thin and a handsome police chief who showed her what true love really is. Good read!
I like this story
Loved it! A quick read with just the right amount of suspense.
Escape to a small town to find love and support from friends and family. Hit all the warm and fuzzy spots.
Cute but somewhat predictable plot.
I had to delete it when she asked the deputy to have sex with her. Not my taste.
Good story. I loved how Brandon’s mom uses his full name when he’s in trouble; cracks me up every time. I also loved when he realizes that, all along, he’d built his house for Leah. And my favorite quote is “If I didn’t love you both, I’d slap your happy faces.”
Leah’s father and Uncle have made living in New York a living hell for her. Her college friend Carly invites her to move in with her and another friend Melanie along with a job offer. Leah meets Carly’s smoking hot cousin Brandon as soon as she arrives at the house in Cedarville, Ohio. Hence starts the whirlwind romance- with lots of sex scenes which to me were totally unnecessary, at least they used condoms. It is a well written, sweet romance with danger and intrigue sprinkled in I did love the strong friendship and bond between the girlfriends .I also didn’t care for the foul language. It is still worth the time to read if you are a lover of small town romances.
This book is so amazing. I love the details of the little town. The characters are very relatable and amazing with each other. When she meets the sheriff who is hot as can be, she is instantly attracted to him. So pick up this book and find out just how hot the sheriff is and what these friends will go through.
Leah comes to Cederville to get away from all the gossip, harassment and more after family is sent to jail , when her friend Carly invites her to work at the dance studio. But I don’t think she was planning on meeting a gorgeous man answering the door to her friends house. (She later calls him a Greek God). Brandon never plans on meeting a woman who changes his mind about serious relationships. The interaction between characters is wonderful, you never know what is going to pop out of any of the girl’s mouths at anytime and I LOVE it This is a book that gets even better the more that you read it and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series
It is a book about overcoming your self doubts and finding love even though you might not feel like you deserve it. Their love story was great!!
Leah has had a traumatic past couple years.
Leah’s father who she thought she knew turned out not to be the honest man she knew. When he and Leah’s uncle are arrested for funneling funds from their customers, her life is turned upside down. Moving to Cedarville Ohio is suppose to be her fresh start and a chance to catch up with her old college friend.
What was suppose to be a chance for her to get her life back together, turns into her safe place with a new family and a love she never expected. But not everything is easy for Leah, especially when she has someone stalking her determined to hurt her the way her family hurt theirs.
I really enjoyed getting to read about Leah and Brandon. I think what I most especially liked was how the author stressed that although we may already be blessed with a family, we also build one with friends and loved ones that may come to mean the world to us.
This is the first book in the Cedarville series by Ms Kraemer and it’s a pretty good start. Cedarville is in small-town Ohio. Like all small towns, everyone knows everyone else and all of their business. At first, Leah is hesitant to move from NYC to Cedarville even though she’s looking for a fresh start. You see her father and uncle have made it near impossible for her to continue living in NYC. You’d think that as large as NYC is she could get lost in the crowds. Nope, what happened to her family, or rather, what her family did to others is so heinous that Leah can’t go anywhere without people taunting her. How much worse would it be in a small town like Cedarville? She’s about to find out…..
Brandon is the first person that Leah meets. Well, that’s not quite accurate. Leah moved to Cedarville after her two best friends talked her into it, so it’s not like she doesn’t know people in Cedarville. Brandon is actually the first person she sees when she gets to Cedarville. He happens to be at his cousin’s house taking care of her dog, Max, when he hears someone rustling around on the front porch. It’s three o’clock in the morning! Whoever it is out there is up to no good. Brandon, being Cedarville’s chief of police, is not about to let someone break into Carly’s house.
This is a short book and things happen quickly, like within a month’s time. So, is there inst-love/connection between Brandon and Leah. Yep. Are there quick set-ups for future books? You betcha. If you’re looking for an afternoon read with some interesting characters, small-town charm, and just a little bit of intrigue you may want to check this one out.
What is there not to love about small towns, everyone knows everyone, they help each other, the bad side is they know everything about everyone and you just can’t get away with much. Three women move to town to start a business, Leah hopes to find herself and put some issues behind her. Things aren’t always that easy since the past she is trying to outrun comes back and bites her.
The Attraction between her and Brandon is from the start, they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other. Which leads to some very hot sex scenes. They are very likable characters and a believable plot. I thought the writing was good, I enjoyed the twists and turns along with the danger. The question is will their love last or will Leah’s past tear it about. She has to trust in someone looks like Brandon will be the one she lays her cards out for.
The story is interesting it isn’t a book I couldn’t put down but it is a story that holds your attention. A cute read that made me smile and laughs. I loved the humor and the wit the author gives it. I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series.
