December 1881A mail-order bride with a secret. A bounty-hunter who finds himself being hunted. An orphan who brings them both together. Can they find common ground and make a stable home for Christmas?
An Orphan for Christmas is such a heartwarming story. It is more than just a sweet romance. It emphasizes acceptance, following God’s will, and kindness. The storyline is fast paced, interesting with plenty of drama and some suspense. I couldn’t put it down.
I received an ARC of this book and have chosen to give my honest review.

P. Creeden always gives us strong characters and often an underlying message in addition to a romance. This story continues that trend. Tom is comfortable being a single bounty hunter. He shows us early that he is not judgmental regarding someone’s background. For Clara this is important since although she can pass as white, her grandmother was a slave. Tom comes home with a mixed breed 8 year old, Boyd, to find his mother has ordered him a mail order bride, Clara. This is a wonderful tale of acceptance and love.

This is a wonderful story of love and acceptance. For a guy who didn’t want to be tied down by marriage, Tom was very good at attracting the misfits of society. His ability to see beyond the outer appearance to the heart and character of a person ended up giving him a family to love and cherish. It’s a really good thing momma knew what was best for him.

P. Creeden is fastly becoming one of my favorite authors. This book was such a touching story. Clara has lost everyone and everything. Her last hope is to become a mail-order bride. She travels to Oklahoma to meet her prospective groom and finds out that he never wrote the letter, his mother did! This book is not what you would expect it to be. It is a heart warming story of love, acceptance and faith. I would definitely recommend this book!
