I’d always found Irish men to be irresistible.
And Devin?
He’s the hottest one of them all.
I had my chance with him.
Heck, I even have a baby with him.
A four-year old boy.
My only secret.
I lost my V-card to Devin on St. Patrick’s night four years ago.
My biggest mistake was thinking that I could trust him.
Hot men like him are trouble.
Besides, he made it clear to me that he hates … kids.
Hates.
Fast-forward to when he meets our little boy.
A meeting that I tried my hardest to avoid.
I might have expected them to get along but… best buddies?
Devin is supposed to hate kids, remember?
It’s only a matter of time until he finds out his birthday.
And when he does…
Oh boy!
A full-length second chance secret baby romance featuring a single mom who’ll do anything to protect her sweet little boy. The perfect HEA and absolutely no cliff-hanger! ‘An Irish Affair’ is a part of the Heart of Hope series but stands alone. Books do not have to be read in order.

the story started well, I was right in the story. the characters are well described and despite all the drama the chemistry remains. but for me the drama becomes too much .. there is no confidence in each other, it is a looming pull .. all in all it gets 3/5 star from me .. it could have been a bit smoother.

The Irish are charmers!… I’m impressed with this fairly new to me author. Flawless story already covered by the blurb & previous reviews. A second chance romance & a child as a bonus, great read. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
This was a phenomenal book. I loved the characters (well not Devin’s mom but when you read it you will understand) and I didn’t want it to end. I hope there are more to cone so we can also catch up on this absolutely adorable family! I’d give it ten stars!

Ajme Williams is a new author for me and man oh man did she win me over. Once I started this book, I didn’t want to put it down. Devin and Serena share a fulfilled St. Patty’s day night at a pub crawl which ends with her giving up her v-card to him, then they spend the week together and fall head over heels for each other and he invites her to go back with him to Europe. Serena is all set to go when the evil mother shows her a picture of him with someone else. So, Serena never shows up to meet Devin to go to Europe, months later Serena finds out she’s going to have a baby. Once again, the witch intervenes and keeps Devin and Serena apart.
This was so a well written story, so very realistic, my heart was torn for both Serena and Devin. I was mad at times at Serena and wanted to shake her. I felt sorry for Devin because he tried so hard to win her back and Andrew just melted my heart. Devin and Serena’s love are so sweet and the chemistry they share is smoking hot!! I have to say Ajme Williams is going to be one of my new go to authors.

I really enjoyed reading this book from the beginning paragraph. It had a great plot and interesting characters. The only drawback was that it was a little to long. The issue that I had with the length was that it dragged on about Serena telling Devin her secret. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. This is the second book by Amje that I have read and I am looking forward to the next story. Until next time y’all happy reading.

Fast forward five years and things are about to come to a head. This ride is about to get bumpy. An Irish Affair by Amje Williams
Devin Roarke met Serena Moore when she was serving him and his friend lunch while at a diner. He rich good looking and bored with the same ole party scene that his friend wants to attend. He wants something real not plastic and fake so he turns to the waitress and asks what she plans on doing later. Since it’s St. Patrick’s Day she and her friends are doing the pub crawl. He was intrigued but his friend wasn’t yet he didn’t care he told her he would met her at the first bar. She never thought he would actually show up because she wasn’t rich, beautiful or thin. Bar after bar time flew by they talked, laughed and spilled stories she even revealed she was a virgin after a little too much whiskey. Let’s just say that didn’t last long and they spent many wonderful days together. Then everything fell apart as self-doubt, unworthiness set in with the help of a selfish conniving ,callous, pompous self-centered deceitful woman who came to visit her.
Unfortunately years have passed since those fateful days and now she has come face to face with her first love now she has a decision that must be made. Will she be able to come clean before it’s too late?
Will everything she loves be taken away from her? Will the evil conniving coldhearted biotch get her way? So many twist, turns drama to be found in this story but within you find the true love of a mother for her child and what she is willing to risk to ensure he’s happy, safe and loved even at the sacrifice of her own heart. Absolutely loved this storyline and the characters well most of them lol. You will understand fully once you have a chance to read. I don’t want to give to much away because whew I’ve read about some cray cray callous people in books before but Dauumm!!!!
It has drama, heartache, anger, passion, humor, understanding, patience, forgiveness and above all else love.
I received an ARC from the author via Booksprout for my honest review and highly recommend this book.

This book had a roller coaster of emotions. I loved Devin and Serena together, watching them go through all the ups and downs they had, but still find their HEA in the end was awesome.

This was an emotional story about a love got wrong and second chances. Serena had a 4 year old son to Devin who doesnt know he is his. This is about the drama and miscommunication around their past and how they move on from there. A very good story and I enjoyed the dynamic between the couple. It was well written and a great plot.
This was an ARC and this is my honest review.

This Irishman is something spectacular. In parts this story is poignant, at times sweet, sometimes even bittersweet, often sad, but Devin always shines. He is a rascal, but you cannot help but love him. Serena tried her best but failed. I recommend An Irish Affair by Ajme Williams.
This was a very enjoyable read. Serena had to grow up quickly, but chose to not let her circumstance keep her from reaching for her dreams. Devin has some want his life trying to become his own person, out from the shadow of his family. This story as well written and developed.

I just loved this book! It made me feel so happy. So much excitement, love, sexy encounters, humor, but there was also lies, deceitfulness, anger, pain and sadness. All combined to bring a happily ever after to Serena, Devin and Andrew.

I really liked how Ms Williams created these amazing, second chance love stories, with so interesting plots. In the second installation of this series, Serena’s and Devin’s journey to get their HEA is sweet and easy to read, with some angst, but a lot of romantic and hot scenes. Even if a cried a lot throughout the book, I couldn’t stop reading until the very end. Wonderful reading! I can’t wait for book 3.
I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
A new author for me. This is a short read but very compelling. This story is about Devin and Serena. They have a difficult road to walk. Devin’s mom is just evil to her core and makes things so hard for them. She’s your typical narcissistic witch. You will want to smack the crap out of her from ruining her son’s life while agreeing with Serena on her decisions just trying to protect her son but meanwhile nobody wins because no matter what someone ends up getting hurt. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from the author and purchased a copy as well.
This is a great second chance romance! Devin and Serena have a whirlwind romance around St. Patrick’s Day before he heads to Europe to oversea his family businesses. He’s heartbroken when she doesn’t come with him but her life is about to change forever! When they run into each other by happenstance 5 years later she doesn’t everything she can to not fall back in love with him. Fate may have a different plan for them!
This was an amazing quick read with very lovable and relatable characters. You will be rooting for them to get the happily every after they both deserve. I loved every minute of it and highly recommended this book!

She’s hit her second book “out of the park!”
I absolutely loved Sereno and Devin. Their story is compelling in the secret she keeps from him, their son, and his determination to find out why she “dumped” him five years earlier. This highly emotional read will have you wiping your eyes while routing for them. I’m anxiously awaiting her next book!

Fantastic Book!! I accidentally stumbled upon the books written by Ajme Williams when I was looking for a new author that was offering something with an interesting storyline. I have since added her to my Favorite Authors list.
Yes, this book does have a storyline that has been used by a number of different authors but this one is so well-written that it felt like it was a fresh concept and never felt flat or repetitious. Serena and Devin were delightful and Katherine, the manipulative socialite snobbish mother to Devin, was truly awful with her efforts to keep Devin and Serena apart. Everything does work out in the end and Serena and Devin do get their HEA. This is a romance, after all!

This book was incredible. There were nights I spent just reading this book. Devin and Serena are so amazing characters. What they both went through was mind blowing. This book has every emotion in it from sad to excited. There were times where I had to stop reading because I couldn’t see through my tears. I understand why Serena did what she did, but I wish she would of talked sooner. Devin didn’t have any other option, but to react the way he did. I was glad when everything worked out, I felt as if I could finally breathe. I received a free copy from the author and reviewed voluntarily.
One wonderful night, one huge secret to keep, poignant and steamy second chance romance
Sereno Moore, 21yo virgin on St. Patrick’s Day is serving a bunch of rich kids when one of them asks her what she was going to do after she got off work. She’s surprised but in her straight forward way says she is going for a Pub crawl with her friends. He says he’ll meet her later. She’s stunned to see the handsome guy from her restaurant has actually shown up. Devin Roarke is so tired of being with his privileged friends. He wants something real and the girl Serena looked like she was “real.” They had a great time together, talked, laughed and finally she lets 23yo Devin relieve her of her V card. The following week they are together as much as possible. He invites her to go off with him to Europe where he has family business to attend. What happens next is appalling. I guarantee you will be furious with a certain person too.
What happens when they meet up five years later? She’s holding herself back from a relationship with Devin. Why? Oh. My. Word. When the truths come out, something is going to fly! Her father says it best, “the two of you have too many secrets. If you can’t tell him about Andrew and he can’t introduce you to his parents, what sort of life can you have?”
Truly loved this story. My only critique is that I think Ms. Williams stretched out the secret about Andrew a little too long. All this irritated me because it showed Serena’s lack of trust of Devin. If she couldn’t trust his reaction, how could that be a sound foundation for a relationship. Other than that I truly enjoyed this story. I volunteered to review an ARC through Booksprout and I highly recommend it for lovers of steamy second chance romance.
