This rather long but most entertaining and interesting book by Jacki Delecki had just about everything in it but the kitchen sink. It had arson, murder, mystery, paranormal, tragic personal loss, smart and amazing animals, and of course, love. The two main characters, and their animals, are put through a maze of emotions and obstacles as they …
Jacki Delecki writes an excellent story filled with high intrigue and love. Ewan Davis is a logical Fire Investigator. He believes in science and order. He is big, handsome, macho and a protector. Grayce is a vet who communicates with her clients. She is sensitive and sweet. They meet when she becomes a witness to a fire.
Mitzi is Ewan’s dog and …
Three protectors – a Hero, a Heroine and a French Poodle?
An Inner Fire by Jackie Delecki is a very well written romantic suspense with fabulous characters of both the two-legged and four legged variety. Davis and Grayce are truly wonderful, engaging and interesting, but the furry friends kind of steal the spotlight in this one. However, the …
I really enjoyed listening to An Inner Fire. I thought the storyline moved along at a great pace, and the supporting characters were well developed… I loved James! While I wait for the next book in the series, I will definitely be checking out some of Jacki Delecki’s other works.
Well done!
An Inner Fire (Grayce Walters, #1), my 13th read from author Jacki Delecki and I have to admit I was only familiar with this author from the Code Breakers series and then her Impossible Mission series before starting this series! I’d gotten this book back in October of 2018 & other books got in the way of my reading it. No matter what era she …
If you look as this book as a cozy mystery that’s trying to be a bunch of other things as well, you can probably suspend disbelief for long enough to enjoy the story. This is why this makes me think of cozy mysteries: we have a lay person heroine who sticks her nose into the middle of a criminal investigation, certain that the authorities CAN’T …
A very different thriller mystery. Macho man Davis, a fire investigator, is in terrible danger and Grayce knows it. But then, Grayce is a acupuncture veterinarian who “hears” animals’ thoughts so Davis will never listen to her. Will he?
An Inner Fire by Jacki Delecki is the first book in her Grayce Walters series and was a great introduction to this series. I had previously read MEN UNDER FIRE via NetGalley and enjoyed it so much that I knew I wanted to start at the beginning.
Dr. Grayce Walters is a vet who does animal acupuncture. She has a strong intuitive ability which helps …
I purchased this as a box set but I’m going to leave my review on each individual book. “An Inner Fire” is book one in the Grayce Walters Romantic Suspense Series. I don’t normally read contemporary romance. But I found this story to be quite compelling. Grayce Walters is a veterinarian who uses acupuncture to treat her animal patients. When she …
An Inner Fire by Jacki Delecki is a contemporary romance with a paranormal twist. Ms. Delecki has delivered a well-written book. The characters in this book are fantastic and so well done, I didn’t know who the bad guy was until the reveal. Grayce is an animal acupuncturist with extra sensitivities. Davis is a fire investigator searching for …
