Welcome to Briar Cliff, Arizona! Women are scarce and the town is in need of babies if it’s going to survive. Five desperate men put out ads in the paper in search of wives. These are their stories.Megan McKinley is a planner, and she has her life more or less mapped out. So when her fiancé dumps her at the literal altar, Megan’s ideas of how things should go are upended. She’s forced to rely … are upended. She’s forced to rely both on her faith and her ingenuity to help her figure out what to do next. When a mail order bride ad promises a new start, she doesn’t hesitate to take the opportunity.
Steve Peterson really didn’t think he’d be marrying anytime soon, but Briar Cliff, Arizona, is badly in need of women to help keep the struggling small town alive. When it’s decided that marrying a number of men off to mail order brides is just the ticket, Steve ends up drawing the longest straw. He figures it must be God’s plan and agrees to the crazy scheme. In short order, his ad has been answered and the most beautiful woman he’s ever laid eyes on arrives in Briar Cliff. She’s as feisty and bold as the purple hues she has a penchant for.
Yet, Steve’s shy nature and painful past may doom their relationship before it begins. Unless, of course, Megan’s impulsive streak gets her into trouble again—but with a new husband in the picture, she won’t be able to run away as easily as she did before. When danger comes calling on their doorstep, will true love prevail? It’ll take all of Steve and Megan’s faith in God, and the combined strength of the men of Briar Cliff, to save the day.

Great start to a new series with a great concept; 5 men from Briar Cliff marry a mail-order bride.
Megan reacts impulsively to the ad posted by Steve after she is dumped at the altar. Not knowing what to expect, including a town where only 2 other women live, she tries to handle her life as well as possible.
Well-written, hilarious moments but also a clear chemistry between the main characters. A nice book to read which makes you enthusiastic about the other 4 women who will come to strengthen the town.

This a very clean and sweet feel-good romance that captured my attention right from the start. I couldn’t help but being invested in Megan and Steve’s happily ever after. Both are in need of love and are perfect for each other. They also had such great chemistry. With Megan’s feisty attitude, there are also some funny moments you can enjoy as she adjusts to her new life.
This is a really delightful read and I would highly recommend for a nice cozy afternoon! I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.

Megan was jilted at the alter and signed up to be a mail order bride. Steve sent off for a bride but didn’t reveal the dire circumstances that the town was in. Then when Megan arrived he had to leave on their wedding night. Megan proved to be more than anyone expected but in a good way. Fun and exciting story

New Englander Megan impulsively decides to answer Steve’s advertisement for a mail order bride after she is stood up at the altar. He doesn’t tell her how lawless Briar Cliff, AZ is and about how he made a pact to be one of the men to bring wives to the town. They have a rocky relationship at first and Megan isn’t one to back down from challenges, but he comes to realize his true feelings when her life is in danger. It was funny about her love of purple, even the new chicken coop. This was a suspenseful mail order bride historical romance.
It was the right decision for her.
Jilted her on her wedding day Megan McKinley makes an impulsive move and answers Steve Peterson’s ad for a bride. Then set out to Briar Cliff she weds Steve. This fast-paced book will take you through the journey that Steve and Megan take in becoming truly married. Danger will flow too. I enjoyed the book but it did leave unanswered questions what does he know and who did it? It is a quick read but very entertaining, with a good cast of characters you will love Megan. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
