My life crashed and burned two years ago, and now I’m a stripper–a very bad one. Worse, I’m in debt to a dangerous man who orders me to seduce a billionaire prodigy. Except why would a guy as handsome and rich as Elliot Reed want me, a girl with no education, no prospects, and a younger sister to feed? But Elliot is more than the incorrigible bad boy that the world sees. He is kind to my sister … my sister and looks at me like I’m a decadent dessert he wants to devour. When Elliot offers me money for sex, I wish I could walk away, but he ups the ante: a million dollars for one year of marriage. The man’s gotta be insane, but beggars with less than a hundred bucks in the bank can’t be choosers, and I want to give my sister a life better than my own.
Now, trapped between a man who controls my future and a man who could own my heart, I wonder if I haven’t screwed up my life even worse when my “husband” refuses to call me by my given name, and I run into my ugly past…and his.
Note: This book contains a cliffhanger ending.

I normally enjoy Ms. Lee’s books; perhaps if I’d realized it was one of THREE it wouldn’t be so bad. Guess I need to do more investigating before I buy any more.
This book is the first of a three part cliffhanger. One story cut in to three parts.
Disappointed…..Don’t like books that end with having to read the next one in the series.
Okay read but you then have to purchase the next book to see how the story ends.
I didn’t like how it really didn’t end… no ending at all. Author wanting you to get the next book in the series.
An Improper Deal had potential. The book has a bit different twist on two tormented lovers that strike a deal on a temporary marriage. An Improper Deal held my interest in spite of several X-rated sex scenes. BUT what finally did me in was: the end of this book leaves you hanging. The series continues in the next two books. If you like this author, you may thoroughly enjoy these books.
This was a great story, but I hate it when a book ends in the middle of the story. If you get this book be aware that the book ends in the middle of the story and you must buy another book to finish.
I didn’t like the ending. It just stopped. A marketing ploy to get you to buy the next book.
It was okay I guess just felt a bit inadequate like there was minimal feeling behind the plot of the book. It doesn’t feel like this situation would actually happen so therefore it doesn’t feel real
