BDSM is about freedom! It’s about exploration. It’s about living those fantasies that we’ve been told were wrong. In Part Two: After decided to enter into a BDSM relationship with her employee, Aimee delves deeper into the power dynamics. She quickly realizes there’s more than she anticipated, and it’s going to require a balancing act to still be a strong editor as well as indulging the … indulging the vulnerable submissive side she’s recently discovered. When Jack puts a contract in front of her, she has to ask herself if she can really commit to this, or if it’s just a passing fancy.

Taking It Outside
3.5 stars – Aimee continues down the rabbit hole learning about her needs and desires and about what Jack needs, including his need to release his beast. That may be a euphemism but not the one you’re probably thinking. Aimee also begins to see how things subtly change at work.
There was a plot issue that stuck with me – the contract – one was provided in the first book and a different one in the second. Otherwise, I enjoyed the release.
So freaking good. Amazing passion throughout the book. Fun characters who shared intense chemistry and the steamy scenes left me needing a cold shower. Read cover to cover because I couldn’t put it down. Read this book now. It’s awesome.

Our heroine was introduced to BDSM as material for a story, but is she ready to explore it in more depth?
This is a short erotic read with an older/younger theme and BDSM theme. Also note that this is part two of a two story. I recommend reading part one first.
The story is well written and easy to read with some nicely developed characters that round out the story. The story is short, simple and straightforward, and that makes for a fun evening read. The theme of trying new things and self-discovery is also very pertinent and well done. Overall, highly enjoyable and I look forward to reading the next part.
Highly recommended.

One of the best bdsm romance books I have ever read. Amazingly written, complex, interesting, and not shallow like other similar books.

“After she decided to enter into a BDSM relationship. Aimee delves deeper into the power dynamics.” This the second part of Dear Diary. So good. Well written. This was quick, wonderful, super steamy, and dealing with power struggles.

Aimee has found what was missing in her marriage, submission to a dom. She has Jack who is willing to train her and finds she is a natural. This is their journey into a new relationship. Very good read. I’m hoping their is another part, not ready for these two to move on yet.

This book is amazing! The second part of the story has Jack asking Aimee if she’s willing to move their relationship out of the bedroom and into real life. While they both know they have to keep their relationship secret at work, he wants to have little reminders that she is his with little things that will mean something only to them. They also decide that the stories they publish for the magazine, while still being anonymous, will be about them both and their journey together. The thought excites Aimee and she can’t wait to see where things lead them.
